Kevin is the best in the business. I have lived in Roswell for over 30 years and called on Kevin at three different Roswell homes. I called Kevin last Friday and he preformed the work the same day. I will never use another company for the same service in the future. I was customer number 9,100 for Stump Grinder. Very safe and very professional.

Stump Grinder Company is the best! Very prompt, professional and fairly priced. Kevin quickly returned my call and was able to get out the next day. My stump was on the side of a small hill that was close to the safe operating limits of his equipment. Kevin came out the same day I called. He gave me lots of information and asked me to measure the stumps so I would have a good idea of pricing. I did a search for stump grinders and Stump Grinder Company was at the top of the list with high ratings. I called mid-day and Kevin promptly returned my call. He was friendly and knowledgeable, asking the right questions, the history of who originally removed the tree and if the stump was grounded. He also asked for pictures so he would have a better idea as to the task at hand. He arrived on-time and completed the job in an hour. He also gave me instructions on what steps to take and what to purchase for when I plant the next tree. He exceeded my expectations and highly recommend his company. You won't be disappointed.

Kevin was very personable, arrived when he said he would, and removed the stumps. As others have mentioned, he removed an extra little stump for free. He came on the same day (a Saturday) that I called him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs work done.

Kevin was great- removed over half a dozen large to small stumps in my yard. He has the equipment to do pretty much any size you can throw at him. Price was very reasonable and he came out within 24 hours of my calling him. I will definitely use him again down the road if I need to have some more stumps ground.

Kevin came to my house to grind an old stump in the front yard. The stump was entirely removed in less than 15 min. He was very fast and professional. I would recommend him to others.

This is the second time that I have personally used Stump Grinder Company, LLC. The first time was about two years ago, and the fact that I had stored Kevin's number in my phone in case I ever needed another stump taken out should speak volumes. This is not a service that one need's frequently, but when you do, you want it done right. Here are the nuts and bolts: - My initial call was returned within an hour on Thursday. - We made an appointment for Saturday morning when I could be home. - I received a call Saturday morning to confirm our time, as well as an "I'm in route" call shortly before arrival. - Quick survey of the job, sign-off on the release, and 10 minutes later, "Stumpy" was fired up and ready to roll. - For context, this was a red maple about 40 feet tall with a trunk that measured just over a foot at ground level and it took about 15-20 minutes of work to obliterate the stump. - In the time it took me to write a check, the machine was loaded back on its trailer and ready to roll on to the next job. I have recommended Kevin to several of my friends, and do so without hesitation. I only wish all small business service providers were as prompt, efficient, and pleasant to do business with as Kevin.

Service was great. He also showed me how to handle some roots versus paying him to do it. Would recommend the service to everyone.

Kevin was absolutely wonderful! His price was very fair, he was interesting, personable and very professional. Kevin arrived on time, marked off the work area of the 2 stumps. He began work immediately and at the end he made me aware that there was roots that needed to be taken care of and he had already done it as part of the price of the 2 stumps which he ground. He was very friendly, fast and did a fantastic job.

I used Kevin Grady in the past. He is the consummate professional. Prompt , polite and fairly priced. He tells you what he interns to do and then executes the plan. I would never call anyone other than Kevin for this process. Additionally he is well networked with tree removal professionals and is great source of referrals. It may seem a little crazy but call the Stump Grinder Co before you remove the tree.

It was a quick and painless process. I called around noon . Kevin was available the same day and showed up within 30 minutes. It was pretty straightforward. I showed him the stumps, and he gave me a quote (including an Angie's List discount). I accepted the quote, and he ground the stumps. I did not get any other quotes for the work at this time, but his price was similar to what the guy who cut down the tree last year would have given me. The stumps were near the lot line so in addition to smoothing out the mulch, he raked it out of the neighbor's yard. He wore appropriate safety gear and confirmed that a cable he saw in the area wasn't live before he started grinding. He showed/told me about the root structure of the cypress trees as it might be relevant to our future fencing of the area. He told me how to best clean the (unavoidable) splatter off the house. He gave me a quote for the huge pine stump he saw on the other side of the yard, although it is the neighbor's, not ours.

I saw reviews here and on Kudzu for Stump Grinder, and was impressed. The owner, Kevin, was still responding to reviews on Kudzu, despite the fact that he already had a lot of glowing reviews. And his comments were nice, rather than defensive, when there were problems. I called Kevin and he happened to be in my area. He came out and gave me a quote to remove 3 old stumps, which were approximately 12-15 inches in diameter each. Two were actually 25 inches in diameter, but so decayed that he gave me half off. For $125, he removed those stumps in about 15-20 minutes, the same day I called. He said that since I am a Kudzu/Angie's list member, he threw in spreading out the dirt a little where we want to plant sod, saving me about $25 or more. He gave me lots of tips on how to prepare to plant sod, too. Hubby had "man-powered out" one decayed stump months ago, and it took about 2 hours. These stumps were even more established, so I knew it would be foolish to try to dig them out ourselves. With Stump Grinder, they were gone within 15 minutes. No damage to surrounding lawn, either. The owner blew off the dirt from the road where his machine had left some debris. He gave me lots of tips on how to prepare to plant sod, too, which I appreciated. Do yourself a favor and call Kevin instead of trying to dig out large old stumps yourself!
