A couple of weeks after moving into our house, we discovered a leak in our front yard from an irrigation system that had not been turned on in many years. I found Ecosystem's number on Angie's List and am very glad that we called. David was very responsive and found the problem almost immediately once he visited our property. The issue was then resolved in no time. And, he went ahead and checked out the rest of the system for us since it hadn't been used in so long. I would definitely recommend Ecosystems to anyone in need of work on their irrigation systems.

We recently bought this house and were having truoble with the sprinklers. I called David at Ecosystems and a week later someone was out to work on our system. They spent two hours testing, fixing and programming everything. Now everything is working great! I will definatley hire them again and would recommend them to everyone!

Ecosystems just completed installing my sprinkler system. It was obvious from the start of the job that his team of experienced employees knew what they were doing. They work quickly, carefully and with a thoroughness that I have not seen in work crew in a long time. Just as importantly, the owner, David Robertson, was onsite throughout most of the 2 day effort. He was easy to work with, offered good advice and was flexible when a few minor changes needed to be made. In making my choice to use Ecosystems Services and reviewing many of the referrals available online it quickly became clear that Ecosystem Services was the only way to go. If you are serious about having a new irrigation system installed you should, at the very least, meet with David. You won’t be sorry.

I manage a property where the irrigation system was leaking, and I contacted Ecosystems. They were out at the property the next day, called me and gave me a price over the phone and completed the job right then. They repaired leaking control valves for $120, which is very reasonable. I have had extremely poor experiences with other irrigation repair companies, and this was a great experience. I will only hire Ecosystems in the future.

It went excellent and I had absolutely no complaints with this company. There couldn't be any with the prompt response and trustworthiness that they exhibited from start to finish.

They were very flexible in working with our budget, and were willing to do whatever we needed to get the job done. They were also very nice people! They were extremely reasonably priced.

We replaced all the landscaping in our 2 year old home in the spring, installing new planting beds and shrubs. The basic irrigation system that the builder had installed no longer watered the correct areas, so we had the landscaper modify it using an irrigation guy that he recommended. This turned out poorly with the 4 zones badly imbalanced and some parts of the lawn not receiving any water and new shrubs blocking many of the sprinkler heads. We selected David's company based on Angieslist reviews. He met with me and qucilky identified all the faults with the existing system and told me what he would do to correct it. It was clear that he knew his business and was very professional. He and his crew showed up on the day promised and completely renovated the system. Now it covers all the landscaping uniformly and we are very pleased.

This afternoon while working from home, I noticed the sprinkler system that has not been used since we bought this house 6 years ago was on in one section of the yard. As I didn't think it worked at all, and the control box has been unplugged for years, I was quite surprised to see it working, but now I had a flood building in my yard. So I went out and turned off the water switch, which unfortunately also turned off water to the house so now I didn't know what to do. I quickly turned to Angie's List to find a local contractor with strong knowledge and great service to ask for advice or to come out and fix the problem today, if needed. EcoSystems met all of my criteria so I gave them a call. David answered the phone and politely listened to my story. He very professionally asked a couple of questions and then gave me some sage counsel on how to find the irrigation master switch instead of the main water switch. He also very clearly explained what had happened and why in terms that I understood and could relate to. After following his advice, I found the switch and stopped the flow of water to the yard, but still have all water to the house! I will spend the weekend assessing the situation, but will likely call David to come out and fix my sprinkler system very soon. He gave me all of the information, knowledge and courtesy that makes me believe I can trust him and that he will do a great job. I'll post again once he does the work and I can more accurately rate his service, but as of right now, I think he's terrific and well worth the (free) call.

Ecosystems (David Robertson owner) provided one of the best customer experiences I've had in Atlanta pertaining to home/lawn/garden projects. It always seems difficult to find service providers around here who will even show up on time, yet alone provide a reasonable level of professionalism. Or you get the other extreme where a high end provider comes in and wants to charge you three times what something should cost. Ecosystems is one of the rare vendors who really provide exceptional best "bang for the buck". David not only showed up when he said he would, he was thorough, detailed, complete in his analysis and more than willing to talk through all of my questions about how a new system should be installed. This was a project I had wanted to do for years, and after a disastrous experience putting in new turf without an irrigation system in the Spring, I was on a mission to do the project right this time. I spoke to 3 other irrigation installers and got that familiar feeling of foreboding that I am learning to heed after years of working with mediocre companies...that prompted me to finally rejoin Angie's List to see if I could find some better recommendations. As you have probably seen, Ecosystems leads the pack on Angie's List in this space, so I called immediately. When I first spoke to David he told me they were booked out several weeks and he was leaving town for a week and if I really needed it done quickly, he was probably not the guy given his schedule (honesty....yet another trait not often seen among these kind of providers!). I told him based on the Angie's list recommendations, I was willing to wait a couple weeks. We then scheduled out a site visit. David followed up with me about a week before, and then was there right when he was supposed to be to generate a proposal. I received his proposal within a couple days, while I still had not received competing proposals from the other two vendors I had come out. His price ultimately was not the lowest, but it was certainly competitive...only a few hundred bucks more on a roughly $2700 job. In my opinion, WELL worth spending that extra money to get what I could tell would be a better end product. I wasn't disappointed.....Ecosystems came out, finished the job promptly and efficiently in less than two days (and they had to do some serious digging to get to my water main...it was a good 4+ feet deep) and David personally walked me through the system controls and how to take care of the system. He did a full test of the system and adjusted all of the heads so that they were working exactly as his design had laid out. He had made some suggestions that I took him up on as to how best to water several plant stands we have using small spaghetti tubing that he took the time to run in such a manner that you can barely see them. All in all, I am absolutely thrilled with the whole system....nothing better than waking up at 6 am to the gentle sound of your lawn sprinklers turning on and knowing I never have to drag another hose out into the grass! One additional note: David's team did a great job minimizing the amount of tearing up of my existing lawn to get all of the heads put in, but his crew unintentionally killed about 6-8 sq.ft of perennials during the process. It wasn't a huge deal, but David, without prompting, went out the same day and bought several flats of the same plants to replace what was killed. He personally planted them and remulched the entire area around the flower bed! Wow....that kind of service definitely is rare these days....! My wife (who is really picky about her flowers) was more than thrilled. I highly recommend these guys - it is so nice to finally get what you pay for and feel like you were treated as a valued customer.

Very happy with the work. Will definitely plan to use them again.

From the moment that I first called to the end of the job these people were very professional. My system was a total mess and had not worked properly in years. They fixed everything perfectly, reprogrammed my timer and now the yard is greener than ever. For the price they charged it was a lot of work that would take even the most persistent homeowner weeks to repair.

They are extremely reliable, and I have all the confidence in the world in them. The price is reasonable. I have not gotten the bill yet. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Just had new sod installed and found one of the sprinkler heads broken. Called EcoSystems and David came that day to replace the broken head and adjust other minor issues. Prior to the fix the system for a good portion of the new grass was not operable and the new grass stood a good chance of not receiving the proper level of watering. Thanks to EcoSystems my new gras has an excellent chance of weathering through the first few weeks of adjustment. I highly recommend EcoSystems Services and owner David Robertson. He made a special effort to get my house given the situation and he did just what was needed to get the system up and running.

They did an excellent job and definitely worth the money. They paid attention to details, and made recommendations on how to improve the existing system. Excellent responsiveness.

We were very pleased. They were very efficient, they were very helpful and gave us some other information that told us how to care for some things. They did a fair amount of digging. Mr. Robertson was here and he had a crew of a couple of men. We thought they were very efficient, very professional and we felt we got our money's worth.

I wish he would have been honest with me about him being too busy to fit me in. I would have understood if he would have been honest with me.

David came over within 24 hours of my initial call. He walked our property listening to our needs and made recommendations. I was impressed with the depth of his knowledge and his willingness to improvise less costly solutions. For instance, several of our lawn sprinklers in the front were inefficient. Rather than removing the entire head he replaced the flow valves with new valves that would operate under lower pressures while watering a wider area. In our back yard where we have only hardscapes and planting beds he suggested converting the traditional sprinkler heads into a drip system that would water each plant individually. Not only was this more efficient (no need to water mulch!) but a drip system can be used in times of drought unlike traditional misters/rotars. He also showed me how to customize the system in future years when we add or subtract plants from our yard. Obviously he could ake more money if he left that a mystery but he wanted us to be able to do it ourselves. Probably one of the best contractors we've ever used.

They exceeded my expectations in every category, but most importantly, they were thorough, knowledgable in their review, and reasonably priced. Besides adjusting the sprinkler heads so that the water hits all my plants, trees and grass, they replaced/added some water efficient sprinklers to save water. They also were very friendly and patient, and spent time explaining what they were doing. My son was equally impressed in the work they did for him.
