Description of Work: My rug was repaired, cleaned and moth proofed. Cristomar did a wonderful job. It was finished when they said it would be. The staff is a great source of information about Persian rugs and gladly teach you about your rug.

Description of Work: Cristomar cleaned n oriental rug (11'X14') that was about 80 years old and not cleaned for 20 years. It was stained and had pet odors. Pet odors are gone and stains is not noticeable. I will use them again. I forgot the exact cost, but about $500.

Description of Work: Cleaned a 9x12, 8x10 and 4x6 Karastan rug and mended some fringe that had come loose over time. They are pricey but the quality of work and their customer service made it totally worthwhile. My rugs look brand new.

 + 0 moreCristomar did a great job. We had not even noticed that there was some minor damage to the rug. Cristomar checked the rug over and gave a us a call about the area that needed to be mended. When we picked up the rug, it was fixed and looked like new. They did a great job in a very timely fashion. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I will recommend them to anyone needed area rugs cleaned, especially oriental rugs.

Description of Work: The Cristomar team is very professional and courteous. Communication is great. They cleaned a living room rug with dog stains and did a professional job and fixed some fringe. While pricey, the quality is excellent...so getting what you pay for!

 + 0 moreGenerally went well. Cost more than anticipated but that was because it needed some extra work. Took longer from start to finish which was fine for this item as there was no particular rush. Think work was done thoroughly and service person explained the process well.
Description of Work: Had a rug approx 8 x 10 cleaned. The rug was used in our dining room and had some food stains as well as soil from having been in use for several years. It was checked for repair work needed and some repair done.

 + 0 moreThe folks at Cristomar were extremely professional and did an excellent job. They came to the house to pick up several high-quality area rugs. They were on time and quite friendly. They returned the rugs looking cleaner than if they were new, and not smelling like chemicals. We had also asked for several receipts due to a relocation request and they could not have been more patient and forthcoming.

 + -1 moreWe dropped off the rug prior to Thanksgiving, in the hopes we would have it cleaned and returned for the holidays. Because of the thick shag of the carpet, the owner seemed a little nervous about cleaning it but assured us it was okay. Everything seemed fine, but then every time we called to see when it would be ready for pick-up, the owner kept telling us they were still working on it. We finally got it back in May (yes, May). When we picked it up, it looked like they hadn't even cleaned it. Stains and odor still present, cat hair still on it, etc. And it was rolled up with the top on the outside, so it wasn't even protected from additional dirt. We are EXTREMELY unhappy that we paid $350 for nothing - I am convinced they didn't even try to clean it. I don't appreciate being charged a high rate and not having the work done. Don't know if they were afraid to screw up the rug or just ripped us off. If they were afraid, they should've said upfront they couldn't do it.
Description of Work: Company was SUPPOSED to have cleaned our $1000 cream-colored shag wool rug, which both needed a general cleaning and had a few pet urine stains.
