Balanced Garage Doors

This part of review is on the quotation. 2nd part, when it happens, will be on the installation. Did 2 requests for quotes. First quote was to define budget and features I wanted in the equipment. 2nd quote was for a firm price base on a specification I wrote. Glenn and Kelly were very helpful, patient, timely, gave good solid advise on different options, quoted on time and exactly per specifications and gave a competitive quote that was lowest and very close to a big box store that I have had problems in the past on installations. Glenn even caught several dumb mistakes I made on door sizing and clearance which increased the price for a bigger door. Even though I had agreed to the original quote, Glenn did not gouge me on the price increase. I am a professional engineer and certified construction specifier with a suspicious and overly detailed lengthy approach; hence the long review. Although they may exist, I could not find a bad review on this company. Only found excellent reviews. Will add to the review when installation is completed. Be sure to get a quote from this company.

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE: From the moment I called, I knew I had the right company as there was actually someone on the other end to take my call and listen to my issue. She immediately scheduled me for an appointment. Before arriving, Glenn Cure called to let my wife he was on the way. Upon arrival, my wife explained the issue and Glenn got right on it. After diagnosing the issue, Glenn explained the issue thoroughly to my wife as well as the potential means of fixing the issue. I came home for lunch and was able to meet Glenn and discuss the issue as well. We had a couple additional areas completed as preventative maintenance. Glenn also synched my wife's car with the door as well. Glenn was extremely courteous and professional during the entire visit. As requested, he left a quote for additional future work, which I felt was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Balanced Garage Doors to anyone and they will definitely receive my business again in the future as I need assistance. Can't say enough about the whole experience as it was POSITIVE from start to finish.

Balanced Garage Doors was one of several companies referred to us by Angie’s list. Josh the Technician who installed our new door opener was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. After a visual inspection and taking measurements he confirmed that the large, low heating/cooling air ducts in our drive-under garage would it allow for a traditional opener insulation. It went really well. He was punctual and very professional. He went through each step with utter professionalism. He reminded me of when I was a chef and had everything put in its place at each step. It’ was rather soothing. He took down the old garage fours and frames. He put up the the new ones abd new openers and made sure I knew how they they worked. Very very nice work and didn’t leave anything behind for me to clean up. Great quality. I highly recommend them.

I knew the service would be great when Tonya (a human being) picked up the phone on my first call. I was able to send photos and get a quote via text. I made an appointment for Monday, but they called me later and said they had a slot open up today, so I got same day service. Josh was friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable. TOP NOTCH SERVICE! Tanya with Balanced Garage Doors was super courteous and pleasant when I called to schedule an appointment. On the day of my appointment, Josh called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, and was professional, polite, and respectful. He is very knowledgeable, and explained each issue so that I could understand why I had the problems with my garage doors, and what needed to be done to repair them. He gave me a quote prior to doing the service, and once I accepted, he then worked quickly and neatly. I will definitely be using Balanced Garage Doors again, and I highly recommend them!
