With Summer temps bearing down, my AC unit stopped working. I contacted Dean Yarrington of Dayco Systems Wednesday morning to discuss the problem and request service. Dean apologized for not being able to come out that day, but was able to schedule an appointment the following. Other companies I called gave me dates anywhere from three days to two weeks out. Once Dean arrived, it took him approximately 30 minutes to replace the capacitor, restoring cool air! I strongly recommend Dayco Systems based on service, professionalism and cost. This is the company I will reach out to in the future.

Was at the house in less than two hours from the time I left a message requesting service. Diagnosed the problem in no time (simply a blown capacitor on the condenser unit) - fixed it, and even went above and beyond by cleaning the coil at no extra charge. They'll definitely be my first call for future HVAC service.

When I first contacted the firm, the telephone was promptly answered, and appt time was set at my convenience. I appreciate the technical advise provided but mostly the prompt service. It took less than one hour of my day to have my A/C unit inspected and serviced.

We couldn't be more pleased. We called him late on a Friday night after called several other HVAC companies. He called back first thing Saturday morning and said that he would be there between 2:00PM and 4:00PM. He showed up at 4:00PM. As I said above, we have a capacitor that is in the process of going bad, which he could've replaced and charged us for as well, but instead he showed us how to replace it and is ordering the part for us to pick up and have on hand when it does go bad.

Dean and the guys from Dayco were great. Dean came over to give me a quote very quickly after my initial email. Their price was better than the other bids I got and they had a great solution for my situation. I appreciated how they gave me quotes for different options, but didn't try to sell me something I didn't need or try to push an expensive overkill option like others did. They were able to start on the work right away and were very flexible working with my schedule. I really feel like I got the unheard of trifecta (timeliness, price, and quality). I was so pleased I switched my ongoing service to these guys as well. This is the 3rd HVAC company I have used in the Atlanta area and they are definitely the ones I will be using going forward. Dayco is a smaller outfit where you are hiring the guys doing the actual work which is what I prefer.

Our experience was great! They were extremely helpful and informative from the start. When our 25+ year old furnace stopped working, they helped us choose a new high efficiency furnace to best suit our needs and budget. Also, while replacing some ductwork was included in the original quote, they discovered more should be replaced during the job. They went above and beyond by replacing this additional ductwork at no additional cost. Workers were extremely courteous and treated our house as if it were their own by cleaning up after themselves, taking their shoes off if dirty before entering the house, and leaving everything as they found it. Even after the job was complete, they did not want us to pay right away. They waited several days for us to test out the new furnace before Dean himself came out to our house to inspect the work and address any concerns. Only after we were completely satisfied was payment requested. They are truly an example of a company who puts the customer first and does things right the first time around.

On time, performed job as expected, advised us on potential problems with one 18 year old unit.

It was as painless as possible. They were here withing the hour I called and they fixed it. I called them at 8am and they were here before 9am. I would definitely recommend them and talk to Dean.

I requested that Dayco come out and assess my a/c and heating situation. I had bought the house the past January and had enormous a/c bills - it just never turned off - with the thermostat set to 80-82 degrees. I requested that they do a top-to-bottom inspection and let me know if it was issues with the unit, ducts, etc. The service man came out and told me that "nothing was wrong" and that it was working as it should (all within 10-15 mins). I asked for an explanation as to things I could do to improve my bill and he said "get a new unit". I then asked for a quote to have a new a/c unit installed and the estimate they gave me was considerably higher than two other quotes I received (after Dayco). I called Dayco after receiving the other quotes and was told that their price would not change. I went with Estes Heating and Air instead. I saved just under $1000 going with Estes (same equipment/same brand).

The technician that came to do the work arrived on time - a big plus for me. He was very professional and thorough. We knew we had a problem with the upper unit (it stopped working for a period of time this summer) so were not surprised when he diagnosed the problem. The unit is past it's life expectancy, so we decided to have Dayco come and do an estimate for replacement with much higher efficiency units. The owner, Doug, came to do the proposal for us. Doug spent a great deal of time with me, answering my questions and explaining how the HVAC system in our home was currently configured and what he would recommend to obtain the best efficiency for an affordable price. I always get three estimates before choosing a company and the difference between Doug's approach and proposal vs. another company we got an estimate from was HUGE. The 2nd company was pushy, manipulative and gave a quote a good $5,800.00 higher than Dayco's. The 2nd company also presented their proposal in a confusing way - he kept switching between unit types, warranty terms, etc. and I really wasn't clear on what I was being offered. Dayco's proposal and presentation was straightforward and clear. With Dayco I feel confident to analyze the proposal and make a decision. With the 2nd company, I felt like I was being manipulated by a snake oil salesman. Any way you look at it, replacing HVAC units is expensive, so we are waiting a few more months to get the work done. I have one more estimate to get, but Dayco is definitely at the top of our list.

They were professional, fast, pleasant to work with and did a great job for us. We will be calling this company again when our other unit needs to be replaced. I would recommend them to anyone.

I've found my HVAC guy and can't wait to tell my mother and friends about him. He was honest, prompt, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. As a single woman, its easy to find contractors that want to take advantage, but he did anything but. He was prompt, curteous, and thorough. He let me know about something we may need to check into in the Spring and walked me through all of my questions with complete patience. I feel comfortable going into the winter, and will be upgrading my system with him when the time is right. Dean is GREAT!!

Fantastic service and performance. Our A/C unit that cools the upstairs went down on Sunday evening. I found Dayco on Angie's list and called Monday - Labor Day! Dean offered to come out and check out the unit that very day. In fact, he was here within the hour and no extra charge for the holiday service! The work was completed efficiently and Dean is a great guy. I couldn't be more pleased.

Very well; the technician was friendly and informative. Showed old parts and explained what caused the issue.

I've used them twice. Dean was very responsive. My A/C went out and I called him on a Friday night and he came by. He couldn't get the part until Monday. He was here Monday morning by 7 am and put it in. The cost was very reasonable. He was very punctual and very professional.

He came right out. He changed out our filters and actually found some problems that he fixed. He detached our humidifier because it had a leak that we didn?t know about and replaced a little pump that helps the heating system drain. He was fantastic. He owns a small business and is in-charge of everything himself. He occasionally uses an assistant but does most everything himself. He is super kind, really trustworthy, very personable and very honest. We had a problem that night after he had done something; he came back the next day and said that he should have caught that problem, and fixed it without charging us for it. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future. We would never use anybody else.

I called Dayco Systems because of the positive reports from Angie's list. I spoke with Dean in the morning and he said he could be at my house after 2pm. He called back around 12 and asked if it was okay if he came over around 12:30 which was fantastic as we were starting to get very hot. He checked the system in my garage and said it looked as if we only needed some freon added. He was very nice and gave me some information about federal rebates for high efficiency AC systems.

I called in the morning expecting to have a few days wait after the July 4th holiday, however Dean was able to come out that afternoon! He quickly determined why one unit was not working and repaired it, and then performed maintenance on both A/C units at my home. Dean arrived when he said he would and fixed the problem within an hour. Dayco will be doing my A/C service from now on!

I phoned Dayco in the afternoon and was able to scheduled for the same day. Dean and his associate showed up on time and were very professional. They did a check of my A/C unit. There was no pressure at all to sign a service agreement yet he was informative when I asked about semi-annual service. I would recommend this company and will do business with them again.

I called Dayco Systems on a Wednesday morning and spoke to Dean, the owner. He was able to come out that evening to look at my air conditioner. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He explained the problem, gave me a quote and answered all of my questions. The final bill matched the amount that I was quoted and I appreciate that Dean itemized the bill so that I knew exactly what I was paying for parts and labor. My air conditioner is working perfectly now! Dean is courteous, professional and his rates are very reasonable.

They are fantastically priced. He is $40.00 cheaper than other companies I know. They always come around on time and they are easy to get a hold of. They do excellent work! I will keep using them because they do great work!
