Crowe Counters at Granite Countertop Warehouse

My experience was amazing with purchasing granite countertops. I had shopped around and came back to Crowe Counters. Lori was so helpful in showing us the slabs. It's hard to make a decision, when there were so many slabs to pick from. She told me to bring any samples of my kitchen remodel. Lori made it easy and when it came time to pay, she gave me the Angie's list discount. The install happened within 2 weeks. The crew was on time, professional and friendly. Nice workmanship and especially happy to support a family business.

We love our new counters. While there was some miscommunication, the team worked hard to resolve the issues and acted with a sense of urgency. The installers did a great job.

I purchased a big deal - $1850 for granite countertops including installation and a sink and faucet. It seemed like a good deal. When I got to the showroom, they were less than welcoming when I mentioned I had purchased an Angie's list deal. They asked me who emailed me and said to come in. They couldn't find a record of my purchase and seemed to question whether I was even a legitimate customer. When I pulled up a sketch of my countertops so that I could give my measurements, the salesperson looked over my shoulder and said "We don't do that." I hadn't suggested that they did and I asked him to stop looking at my mobile device. The salesperson told me that the deal was $1850 plus tax. I could be mistaken, but that should have been listed in the big deal. They also wanted to charge an extra $200 for plumbing reconnection and $150 to remove the old countertops. I thought the "installation" of a sink and faucet would include plumbing reconnection, but it didn't. A previous vendor had told me that I would need 35 feet of countertops, but this vendor said I would need 38. This part was a minor issue, but overall, I felt hustled and hassled at the showroom and consequently cancelled the purchase.

They're an awesome company, and their service was excellent. Their customer service was wonderful. They're very courteous.

Ricki @ Crowe walked us through the whole process from how to pick our stone, color choices and design. Everything went as she advised it would. We had one little issue with a support bar for the cabinet bending with the stone weight. We called Crowe and they scheduled for a service call - our counters are beautiful!

I first contacted Dave Lawrence at Granite Countertop Warehouse after a depressing day of getting quotes from Home Depot and Lowe's. Both of the big box stores quoted us at nearly $3,000 for our small kitchen, and we weren't prepared to spend that much money at the time. They also made me believe my measurements were more than 10 sf off what I thought they were. I found GCW on Angie's List and spoke with Dave on a Saturday. He helped me translate the colors we liked at Home Depot and Lowe's into colors he had in stock, and quoted me a price nearly half the amounts we got from Home Depot & Lowe's. He even offered to review pictures I emailed him of our cabinets against my measurements to verify whether they were approximately accurate. The next weekend, my wife and I made an appointment to meet with GCW and confirm the Bella White color was the one we wanted. Dave was tied up when we arrived, but another saleswoman took us out to the warehouse, had one of the workers pull the slab we thought we wanted, and helped us pick the area of the slab that worked best for us. She was extremely helpful. At that time, we paid half of the quoted price, and asked to be put on the calendar. From there, the scheduling was a bit difficult, partly because we were having a family member install a sink for us and couldn't determine whether the sink should be installed before or after the cabinets, and partly because GCW apparently had some personnel issues and had to let a scheduler go during the time we were trying to get on the calendar. Regardless, every time I called Dave, he was helpful and did his best to get us on the schedule at a time that was convenient. After we finally got our sink installed, the template guy came out and measured. He was very professional and courteous, and his measurements ended up within 3 square feet of mine, which I was pleased with. A week later, Doug came out to remove the old tops and install the granite tops (no seams!) He did an excellent job. He and his co-worker were done in an hour, and they left the area cleaner than they found it. They also helped me identify a minor issue with our invoice, which impressed me. In addition, we paid the extra $3 per square foot to have the granite sealed with a 25-year sealer, and Doug showed me how it worked and assured me that they would come back out if we noticed any areas that were more porous than others. Overall, the value and quality of the work done at our house was worth the wait. The only reason I am rating GCW a "B" and not an "A" is because of the scheduling issues we ran into. All in all, I would absolutely recommend GCW to a friend, and especially point them to Dave to help guide them through the entire process.

The install went of without a hitch. I visited their shop and picked out the granite I wanted. They scheduled the template and the install within the next couple of weeks. The workmen came exactly when they said. The counter tops looks great and really make my kitchen.

The installation went ok but the salesman outright LIED lied to us twice.. When he was showing us slabs in the warehouse he quoted us slabs saying this slab is this price. We were there on Mothers Day and he said for a Mothers day sale the price we picked was a particular price but when we got back he wrote it up at a higher price, then lied saying he never gave "Mothers day sale" pricing. We were trying to get our home on the market to sell it so we were time crunched other wise we would have canceled right there and then. DO NOT TRUST THEM, check everything twice three times and maybe even tape record what they are saying in the warehouse when they are quoting you prices.

My husband and I were very impressed from the moment we placed the order to the time they installed the countertop. Love the sink and faucet that they recommended! Rickie was very informative about the product and what the steps were to doing this project The guy that did the template was very friendly and very professional as well as the guys that installed the countertop and sink and facuet. Will we use them again when we do our bathroooms???? ABSOLUTELY!!!!!.

When I contacted David Gerger at Crowe Custom Countertops in Feb., 2015, I asked him if I got the free firepit as advertised on their website. He said I absolutely did. When they installed my countertops on Mar. 30,2015, I expected them to bring my firepit. They didn't. I called David and he said it would be on the truck to be delivered to the Chattanooga store the following Thursday. I have called weekly since then and every time I call, they promise it will be on the truck the next week but it has become clear they have no intentions of sending it. The last email I received from David, he wrote ******Hi Collen, Sorry about the delay, The fire pit is made in Georgia and the fine print states that you are to pick it up in Georgia, I understand your frustration. We are sorry. Please give us a chance to make it up and get it to our Tenn. location this week we wont let you down. Thanks, David Gerger Sales Representative *******************************************************************************That was on May 11, 2015 and I still haven't received my firepit. And by the way, there is no fine print. It was good. We called them and told that we wanted to upgrade all of our bathrooms. They came and measured it. We picked out the granite and they came and installed it. Everything was fine. They put a permanent seal around the granite which was good.

They did the job in three hours. They put in granite countertops. They were so professional. They took the time to do the proper measurements. They were prompt and their service was quick. They were an A++ company and were fabulous.

They did a very good job. They were very reliable. They showed up on time. Cleaned up after themselves. Reasonably priced and good customer service.

We had a great experience with Deanne. She was very helpful in finding the best counter top at the best price for our kitchen. We used marble so it was important to get the best value/cost product. They have a nice showroom, good selection and good prices. We plan to use them again for our master bathroom. Thanks!

They were good. We had a little bit of back and forth. We had a seam on the countertop that we needed to match and they have kind of left it on me. Whenever it came in, it did not match, but they did come back and fix it. So, overall I would say I was pretty satisfied. They were punctual, professional, and courteous.

The materials were fine but I found the company very hard to work with. The actual material was very good but they seemed to measure it in their favor by about $1000. We got that cleared out but my bill jumped to thousands of dollars at the very end. It wasn't accurate. I think the company was just trying to charge more money. The installer did a great job and everything was super enjoyable except for the salesperson. He adjusted it but I had to go through his manager.

I want to be fair. We received good sales service and they showed up when scheduled. But during the installation the installers damaged our hardwood floors our cabinets and they had to cut a hole in a wall and slide the counter top in the hole to make it fit and the drop in sink hole was to small (the faucet mounting bracket would not clear the counter top, I noticed this when i tried to install the faucet). When I showed the installer the damage he told me to make a note of it on a work order form and they would get back to me. It took two weeks before they came out and fixed the sink cut out and the cabinet. They are giving us the runaround with the hardwood floors saying that the damage was already there. We had the floors done 4 months ago and I swept the floors before they arrived and saw no damage before they started.

We were impressed with the amount of granite selection that Crowe Countertops offered. We found one that we loved and were able to pick out the slabs ourselves. I also like the fact they sent a layout of where the cutouts would be for each piece in the kitchen and allowed us to make changes that we felt were better for us based on where we would rather have some of the better features and colors. They were professional from start to finish and did a great job with installation. I highly recommend their services.

Walked in & front desk girls just walked away with no explanation. Then after a few minutes they said they would get sales person who was also very unprofessional and had very limited knowledge & never showed us what we came to see. Just a waste of time that day & couldn't leave fast enough.
