John and his wife were very professional and super friendly. They were on time and very knowledgeable with the over 48 years of experience.

"Lightning Defense" is part of an extended Family of businesses here is Central Florida. We originally discussed having Lightning Protection installed on our home in The Villages with W.B. Lightning Rods out of Orlando. When William experienced a scheduling conflict he arranged with his Uncle, John Sherlock, (Lightning Defense) to handle the install - which was scheduled for a Sunday morning. John and his wife arrived promptly Sunday morning. Since my wife and I had a prior commitment and would not be able to stay, John indicated that if he finished before we returned he would stop back later that day to go over any questions we might have and explain the work he performed - - all completed before he was paid. Their workmanship was outstanding; the materials were of the finest quality; but it was their customer service that truly makes them exceptional. I can highly recommend both John from Lightning Defense and William from W.B. Lightning Rods. John because of the work performed and his willingness to accommodate our needs and William because of his dedication to Customer Service - - he could have very easily forced us to reschedule our install to a time more convenient to him.

We were impressed with their knowledge and experience. They are a local family business and have been installing lightening protection for many years. John and his wife were very courteous, explained everything thoroughly, and did an excellent job. The work was completed in about 3.5 hours and the price seemed fair. They use UL listed materials and installed according to Lightening protection standards.

John explained everything to me about the job to be done. He was very prompt in arriving, completed the job in a few hours and walked around the house with me to show and explain the finished project. He was very professional and his prices were quite reasonable. This is a very reputable business.

Received a written email itemizing the cost. Questions on this installation was answered promptly. The husband/wife team came on time and the entire job was done in about 4 hours.

Their work was as good as or better than advertised. They were on time and worked very efficiently. All of my questions were answered and provided a lightning protection education that supported my pre-project research. The finished copper installation passed the eye appeal test when compared to near by installations by others. Well done!
