The Lightning Defense company responded quickly to re-install our pre-existing Lightning Protection System (LPS) after our roof replacement was completed. Lightning Defense personnel worked quickly, efficiently, safely, and were very professional, courteous and clearly explained everything. They told me that our LPS was up proper standards and met all the county, state and any federal related requirements. They re-certified our LPS. I'm very satisfied with the results.

John is very kind its like working with your father. He explained everything very well, showed me all the materials he was using. When we spoke on the phone he did the same. When he came out he showed me his license, insurance, that he is bonded and he had a book of photos of his work. He cleaned up very well after the job was done left no screws or anything behind. This was the best service Ive had with any company at any time.

They did a great job a a very good price. They arrived on time and finished quickly. Wires were all neatly run and hidden along ridges and downspouts. Very satisfied.

A seamless experience. John showed up promptly with an estimate and sent me a copy of his liability policy as promised right after the estimate. I hired them and they promised to be at our house between 11:30 and 12. They showed up at 11:45, exactly the midpoint of the estimated arrival window. John estimated the job would take three hours but they completed the work in a bit less. He ran the cables along the gutters so they are not visible unless you look behind the gutters. I hope never to test the system (do not want my home struck by lightening at al, thank you!). but the materials are all UL listed.

The owner John Sherlock was very professional, knowledgeable and did the job very efficiently. Cleaned up after the job. His wife was with him, they are a great team. The price is unbeatable. Would definitely recommend him. He is a no pressure guy. Educates you on all the different products.

I was given the fact of what was needed. there was no pressure. suggested to talk with another company, which i did. i was given a song and dance which enriched my decision to choose LD. What would you do differently?

Its really nice to meet a company that uphold honesty and integrity as their values. This company did an install on my property following a major remodel in 2011 and did a great job at a competitive price. Fast forward to 2019 and I have recently had some of my roof replaced and the roofers removed all the of lightning rods! I called John and he came straight out exactly when he had promised. We own a large property and it would have been easy for him to charge me for a full replacement system but instead John explained that it was a pretty easy fix and the charged me very little to take care of my problem. John also walked the other buildings and checked all OK while he was there. Folks , This guy is old school honest and in today's world that's a rare commodity. Overall a great business I would highly recommend. Thank you John

I got several estimates on installing lightning protection on my house. John gave me a very reasonable offer after reviewing my house online. I set up an appointment for him to come by my house and have a look first hand. "You want to get this done?" he asked. "Sure, when can you start?" I replied. "Now". He called in his crew picked up the tools and got to work. I have never seen anybody being that fast, responsive and deliver top notch workmanship. Highly recommend.

If you need lightning protection.....stop looking. John is the best! I had lightning rods installed on my house today. I have been hit 4 times in the past 5 years. I finally have peace of mind. John and his wife came to our house at our request. His here is the cost estimate was lower than others we investigated and his installation looks better as well. He seals every screw with lifetime silicone to avoid any future water leak problems. They were the perfect contractor, on time, total job without and changes after the estimate and cleaned up after the job. If you are looking for this service John is the man to hire!

Arrived at specified time and completed installation of a new / additional grounding rod and lightning protection line end of line.r Worked in an effective & efficient manner.

He had excellent service and was fast and returned calls quickly. He installed the rods accurately and the wires were hidden.
