It went excellent. I was extremely satisfied. He's very good at details to where he sat down with me and he explained everything..the sequence he would do it in. He went over the cost figures with me. I did not have to pay him until after the job was done, and he came here and sat down and reviewed the whole project with me. Most places need a 50% deposit. He did not. He is a very refreshing person. He explains everything to me. I have no complaints.

After getting multiple quotes I went with Russ because he was very informative and answered many questions. I had other roofers that would just take measurements and give a price, without saying or explaining much. Russ was all about the details of the job and did not seem rushed. While many of the other contractors did a sales pitch as to why they were the best, or that I should beware of other contractors, Russ was very confident and calm which helped me make my decision. As far as cost was concerned, Russ gave me a reasonable estimate, not the highest or lowest, he gave me three choices of products and prices, basically good, better, and best. Before I move on to the quality of installation, the last thing I want to say about the cost is I ended up paying quite a bit more than the original estimate. Which ended up being a result of rotted wood replacement. Since I was not there to witness how much wood was replaced nor was shown a receipt for wood purchased, I can only go by what the final tally which was given to me at the end of the job. I believe I ended up paying about $1300 more just for wood, this is on top of the original estimate given for wood replacement, I cannot remember how much was estimated, but I thought it would be enough or very close to all that would be needed. So my biggest surprise was the up charge for the wood. A part of me felt like this was a way to make more for the cost of the job, rather than it being actual cost vs. necessity. Either way, after the job was done I went into the attic to see how much wood was replaced and to me I couldn't see where $1300 was used. Now onto the roof, the final result was very good. His crew worked fast, and even faster because the weather really played a part. I was nervous because they had my shingles torn off and there was a huge thunderstorm moving in fast. They got the felt down in time before the storm hit but this made me extremely nervous, they had to be tacking it down as the rain fell. They assured me it was "dry", but since this is the first time I have had a roof replaced and it was a large expense I couldn't help but feel the installation was somewhat compromised by them having to rush. Once again, I will never know. Having said that, I have not had any issues with the roof, it looks great. The only negative thing I can think of is I that I came home to a missing planter which I later found in my trash bin. I chalked that up to the bad weather and them having to scramble for cover. I also found some old nails around the house, even to this day I will stumble across some old roofing nails. If you hire Russ you'll get a great roof and he's a genuinely nice guy to work with. I would recommend him to everyone. Just be ready to pay about a grand more than the estimate you get, I expect that would be the case with any contractor you hire.

We had several people try to fix this problem and he was the only one who could. His office was nice to work with, he was very professional, accommodating and I was very pleased with the service. The leak went into the smoke alarm, which was wired to the house so it kept going off and his wife gave me the name of an electrician to fix this. Russ told me I could call him anytime and that was very pleasant to know.

We had contact Russ Noyes Roofing and a couple of other roofers. Kevin came out and gave us estimates for replacing the roof with samples of shingles. He was very professional. We choice Noyes roofing. There were a couple of hick ups but they took care of us and fixed the problems. Roof looks great and we are very happy.

There were a few bumps in the road. However when I brought them to Russ's attention he took such immediate action to deal with the situation that I feel I made the right choice in choosing his company to do my reroof.. He is definitely an owner who takes pride in his company and makes sure everything is done to the highest standards to maintain that A+ reputation. I would not only use him again in the future, I would gladly refer him to friends and family.

I am a third time customer of Russ Noyes Roofing, but a brand new joiner of Angie's List. I wanted to provide my experience with them. Russ is thorough, professional and accurate and I've been very happy with all of the work he's done. I got a really bad job on a new roof after Hurricane Charlie in '04 and have had problems since. After they refused to work with me anymore.....I found Russ and this is his third repair for me from their shoddy work. I'm very happy with his work; I've never had to recall him back out on his repairs, he is prompt and efficient and fairly priced. It has been a pleasure to deal with him, and Libby, who runs the office. Wonderful company and i highly endorse!!

Company was slow to respond to calls. It took one week to get them to call me back AFTER I signed the contract. Once the job got started, the foreman, Nick, was here every day overseeing the work. I had comfort knowing that he was there. Carlos, "Charlie," was AMAZING! He was very informative, kind, caring and you could see he truly cared about his clients, the job, and also the quality of their workmanship. I am very pleased we CHOSE them!! Highly recommend......

Russ was professional and efficient. Given all of the recent rain his schedule was very full but he found a way to work in our repair. Once on site his team did an excellent job.

Very satisfied with the work. The crew repaired the roof as stated in the contract. The repair was completed in one day and the crew cleaned up after themselves.

The work was scheduled for 19th July 2013. I talked and emailed with Christina who took care of scheduling, contractual matters and obtained the necessary permit. We received a message at 8am on the 19th advising that the crew would be delayed until noon as they had to finish up a job from the previous day which had been interrupted by rain. Two people arrived around lunch and got to work immediately. We were advised that they would tear the existing roof off, replace all damaged wood decking and apply the self sticking underlayment that day and that one of them would return the next day to finish up with the installation of the shingles. Although we had a heavy downpour that evening, it did not cause a problem and the work was completed on the 20th July. The new roof looks great. The installers took pride in their work and it shows. We were impressed with everyone we dealt with. They were professional, polite and followed through. When the job was done you could not tell that anyone had been here. None of the many plants were disturbed and there was no debris left behind. Although we initially had hoped that the re-roofing would be done in a day, we are very pleased with the outcome. We would definitely use Russ Noyes Roofing again.

A schedule change allowed them to repair my roof a week early. This was especially helpful with all the rain we have this time of year (July.) All materials were cleaned up and no leaks since!

job was done for a friend of an Angie's List member. They report excellent work, very thorough, on time with everything, neat & clean. Very professional people!!!

He was efficient, he was good. Only had 2-3 roofers with him, so maybe a little extra help would be nice. It took 2 days to do the job and that is what he told me it would be, so I was really pleased with him.

Russ was very prompt, professional and proficient in giving me the estimate I needed. I accepted his estimate and should be hearing from his office to set up time for doing roofing work.

Russ Noyes and his team were INCREDIBLE! I?m a type A attorney and had a 4 page chart comparing the best contractors around me and Russ was always willing to answer my questions. His bid was extremely competitive. Having a roof replaced is two fold -- you need the service from the contractor and then the quality of the product and Russ EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS WITH BOTH! The service was pleasant and kind. He was very attentive and responsive. He handled all of the permitting and came out and did a final inspection with me. He did not hound me about the cost and make me feel like I was a bottom line to him, which was extremely important to me. The quality of the roof is AMAZING! He assessed the roof for its needs (added ventilation) and my needs (helped me pick out a shingle style and fantastic 50-year non-prorated warranty). The crew was courteous and capable. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Russ and his team to anyone and would ABSOLUTELY use them again (although I don?t think Ill need a roofer for a very long time!)

Russ came out and did the estimate. He was on time and professional. We had a few roofers give us estimates and Russ came in the middle. He was able to fit us in with in the next two weeks. The admin asst. was friendly and did a good job coordinating the solar company. When the worker came out to fix the leak he was on time and very friendly. He did a great job and cleaned up. I would definately recommend them.

Russ provided individual attention and detail to the initial planning and cost of our new roof. He is very experienced and an expert in this field, educated my wife and I , and answered all our questions before creating a bid. He made us feel that we could take our time in the planning, and made sure that every detail was reviewed. He answered all our questions thouroghly and with detail. He value added the job, adding detail to our job that others likely would not even consider for the price, which by the way was outstanding! We had a full roof job done from top to bottom, a whole new roof put on our home, and to this day, it is awsome, no problems, excellent workmanship. His crew is top notch. His supervisor was on top of every detail, was very communicative and educative. The actual crew were very good, and disiplined. When the supervisor left to get supplies, these guys kept working, and really required no supervision. All in All, I can certainly recommend you strongly consider to have Russ help you with any roofing needs you ever need, we will call on him in a heart beat for any future work we do.

The crew worked efficiently and expertly. They were all very courteous and pleasant. They arrived on time and finished the job in less than two days. I was really impressed with the quality of the work and the customer service. Everyone in the company we dealt with, including the work crew and the office personnel, bent over backwards to provide us the very best service possible. After the work was completed and inspected, Russ came back out at my convenience to deliver our warranty and make sure I was totally satisfied with the job. I would recommend Russ Noyes Roofing to anyone who needs roof work done. Other companies could take a lesson from the way Russ provides first rate customer service.

They arrived as scheduled. Did an excellent job reworking a valley. Found a broken VTR pipe & came back 2 days later to replace it. Excellent workmanship. I've had experience with roofers before & needless tosay wasn't pleased. But this company is first class in all respects.

Got quotes from 6 roofing companies (all A-rated), from Angieslist. Russ with Russ Noyes roofing came out and gave the quote and the scope of the work. I had lightning protection on the roof that a lot of other companies did not want to re-install even tho it is attached to the shingles. They wanted me to hire an electrician to have it re-installed? Anyway Russ did not bat an eye on doing it and included many things the other roofer would not. After talking to Russ I knew he would do a good job for me and he did. I liked dealing with the owner of the company direct, rather than just a sales person. His crew showed up on time and finished roughly when they said they would and cleaned up thoroughly when they finished. The forman was there from start to finish and explained every detail of the work. Russ even sent me a cd of the pictures of the process of replacing my roof. Totally pleased with the look of the finished roof. Would not hesitate to hire them again.

Russ Noyes Roofing provided excellent service for my needs. They were timely, accurate and professional. In fact, they saved me a lot of money because they pointed out the repair I envisioned was not necessary at the time I requested it. I strongly recommend Russ Noyes Roofing. Russ himself came to the house to give the estimate which he prepared on the spot. After a few minutes in his truck he returned with a printed color letterhead estimate. He must have a printer in his truck cab. After reviewing their estimate and two others we contacted Russ Noyes and asked them to schedule us in. They were able to fit our job in within a week, in spite of the heavy summer roof repair season. Best time to do roofs is actually the winter in Florida when the roofers are less busy. A two person team came to install the repairs and were done in a couple of hours in the morning. They cleaned up after themselves and it was difficult to determine that anyone had been working in our driveway. We have had no subsequent problems with the patch and "cricket" installed around the chimney. Russ Noyes Roofing pointed out that I would have to replace my entire roof in a couple of years (5 or more) so a patch was more cost-effective for me at this time. The patch would last the 5 years and I could replace the entire roof once it was necessary. This advice saved me a significant amount of money. They also pointed out that flat roofs are no longer allowed in Orange County as of spring 2012 and that if I replaced rather than repaired at this stage I would be looking a greater expense to install a slope on my roof. This can now also await the full roof replacement in a couple of years.
