The job went very smooth. David was the plumber who had been to my house previously, and this time he returned to complete the sewer replacement with a second plumber (Mike S.) Both plumbers did a great job explaining the problem, describing the necessary steps to repair the problem, and then actually completing the job. It took more than 6 hours of digging and troubleshooting to fix the sewer line, and it also involved connecting to the city sewer line. That step required the city crew to complete, and both David & Mike worked with the city sewer crew that same afternoon to coordinate the repair. This was a big, messy job, and they worked from start to finish in the hot sun with total professionalism. They cleaned up the yard and driveway and took away all the old debris from the broken sewer pipe. I want to thank David and Mike S. for a great job, and I would recommend Modern Plumbing based on my experience.

Water leaking from under the hot water heater turned out to be coming from the wall and under the slab. Rather than break up tile I can never replace, I chose to re-pipe the house. That?s a big job, and a complicated one, but Modern Plumbing?s crew led by Ray Diaz did it quickly, efficiently, and professionally, and at a fair price. I am 110 percent pleased with Modern Plumbing and recommend them to anyone with a plumbing problem.

The drain pipe from our washing machine was overflowing when the machine drained between cylces. We tried clearing the pipe ourselved, with no luck, and decided to call a plumber. We called Modern Plumbing Industries and they sent Mike out the same day. He arrived on time and quickly got to work. Start to finish he was there only 45 minutes and he clearned, flushed & tested the drain. When he was done, he even put the washing machine back in place and reconnected everything. Mike was pleasant, polite and professional. All in all, it was a great experience!

We discovered a leaking pipe and called Modern Plumbing due to it's great reviews on this site. We called them at 7:00am when they open and they arrived at our house before 9:00am. The problem was fixed quickly and for a reasonable fee. We were very pleased with the service and will not hesitate to call them for any future plumbing needs.

Their report was thorough (I received both a handwritten and typed proposal). They provided the report in a timely fashion. Their price was within line of the other estimates that I had gotten.

Service was high quality, fast, professional, and well priced. Not only would I use them again and recommend them to others, but when we had an additional (unrelated) plumbing problem a couple of weeks later, we were glad to know that we had a reliable, fair company to call.

David was our service person. He explained and showed to us what was going on, did an exceptional job replacing and cleaning the sewer line, and left the area of our lawn where he was working better looking than when he arrived. Plus he has an awesome accent.

I called the company and explained to them that I had a leak coming underneath my kitchen cabinets, they said they would have a service man there at 4 PM and he arrived right on time. The gentelman was very professional found the problem which required having to go outside and take out part of my wall in back to get to the pipe and remove it and put a new one in. It was around 6PM and very dark out so we rescheduled for the next morning. Finding the problem where the leak was coming from was half the problem because I had water on the kitchen floor and you could not see where the water was coming from, and that was removing the refrierator, and diswasher making sure the leak wasn't coming from there. Luck for me I did not have to have my kitchen cabinets removed. When the problem was repaired the next day, a differnet service person showed up but was just as professional as the gentelman before him.

Mike, showed at the scheduled time, completed the requested installation tasks, checked them out to make sure everything worked okay. Cleaned up boxes and used parts before he left.

This was our second leaking hose bibb in the past few months. This one was my fault from a do-it-yourself repair gone wrong. I had a diverter on a hose bibb that had corroded and was stuck. I tried to remove it and a leak sprung up at the connection point between the pipe and the hose bibb. I called Modern Plumbing and specifically requested Craig because he had done such a nice job on the previous visit. He was there the following day (and they would have had someone there the day I called if it had been urgent.) Same routine as last time - hammer drill out a small portion of the wall to gain access, remove old hose bibb and install new one. Again, he installed one that threads on so if we have problems in the future, we won't have to go as deep into the wall. I'm always looking to learn new things so I stayed, watched, and chatted with him the entire time. He didn't seem to mind me watching and learning. The concern I had was the same as last time, how good would it look where he had to repatch the wall. it looks great, a coat of paint and if you didn't know what he had done you would never be able to tell. The "B" for price is simply because I believe the charges are standard in the industry. An "A" for price, to me, indicates some really outstanding deal.

I haven’t got a bill yet but I guess it will cost me around $7000. They were timely, responsive and very knowledgeable. They did a good job with the specific details that we wanted accomplished and I liked that.

The toilets and bath tubs were horrible and this happened on a Saturday. I survived it and I called in desperation on a Saturday and I didn’t get through to anybody. I called two other plumbers as well on Saturday evening. Modern Plumbing was the first one that called me on a Monday morning and so I told them to come and do it. They were excellent. The person that helped me, his name was Ray and he was amazingly patient because I was very upset. He told me every step of the way what he was doing and how much it would cost. He was just very good. It took him about half of the day to get it fixed and there are no problems ever since. I would recommend him without hesitation. His price was very reasonable. The amount that I spent also included replacing the kitchen sink which was a little more than $100. The extra things he did for me was not part of the emergency call. Plumbers cost $80 just to get them to your house. So once he was there, I just asked him to do a few more things for me. His service was outstanding. He had it all done and he wore booties when he came in the house to protect the carpets. I was upset and he immediately soothed me down. He could hear it in my voice and he was very good at understanding that I was in distress. He had an excellent way of just putting out the fire. I will use his services again in the future.

This report is actually about 2 times when I have called Modern Plumbing out for service. I was extremely happy both times with service and professionalism. The first call was for a leaky hose bibb in the front of my house. The receptionist was more concerned about it (and my water bill) than I was and made sure that someone was out to fix it that same day! My house is brick and it was very difficult to get through, and he could have stretched the labor into another hour but did not. The new bibb works great and you can barely tell there was work done. The second call was for a backed-up toilet where the main line needed to be snaked. They were out within half an hour of my call. I think I could have gotten that done for a little less at another plumber, but I would not take chances with less quality from others. I definitely reccomend this company!

They come quickly and do a good job. They are professional and are reasonably priced. They have been in business for some time now and I will continue to use their services in future.

They had to order a part so the job is not complete yet. They were very punctual, courteous and professional. I am very satisfied so far but the job is not completed yet. Based on the experience I have had so far, I will hire them again in the future.

Overall I would rate them a B and would have been an A had it not been for the pipe burst outside on Mother's Day during the course of the repipe.

We had a leaking hose bibb in an exterior cinder block wall. The hose bibb needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, it was not threaded, so we needed to punch a hole in the wall to get access. Modern Plumbing was contacted on a Monday afternoon. I told them there was no urgency as the leak was very minor. I was provided a two hour window on Wednesday when their plumber would be out to provide service. Craig arrived right in the middle of that window and even provided me an update a few hours earlier than his arrival stating when, specifically he would arrive. He was quick and professional and we now have a new, fully operational hose bibb. He even did an excellent job repairing the small access hole in the wall. I do not believe we even need to re-texture the stucco finish, I think with a little bit of paint the area will look great. Modern Plumbing was chosen solely because of their high Angie's List rating and they fulfilled all of my expectations. I will use them in the future. I gave them a "B" for price, not because they were more expensive than anyone else. I didn't get any other quotes and I am sure there price was competitive, if not better than most. I simply reserve "A" ratings in price for something I view to be an outstanding price. In this instance, Craig completed the entire repair in one hour. I believe $18 in parts and $100 labor/service charge for one hour is pretty standard. What is important for me is that you get the service you deserve for that price, and that is where Modern Plumbing excels.

Its been awhile since this company replumbed our house, but never will i forget how they did a GREAT JOB! Everybody was nice and courteuos. There where alot of company that was in and out of our house because we where renovating, out of all the bunch Modern Plumbing stand out, because of their great work and esp. their great people. Esp. Rob, Rey and Mike!

They were very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody. They cleaned up very well.

The guy was really good, I've known the owner for 20 years so I figured he wouldn't do a good job. The guy was professional, he knew what he was doing and made some suggestions. He didn't make a mess, cleaned up and it was an overall good experience. The price was reasonable, it wasn't cheap but it was what I expected.

I called Modern Plumbing to fix a clogged sink problem on a rental property after another plumber had told me that I needed a new drain field. They found out the problem was actually a broken pipe underneath the house and fixed it right away and within the original estimate. The technician was very punctual and professional.

We have always been satisfied with the work that they do. They are prompt, clean and do an excellent job.

The service went very smoothly from start to finish with no problems. They arrived on time, went right to work, and were finished and out the door in slightly less that 1 and 1/2 hours. They cleaned up and did not leave a mess behind. They were very good about showing me what the problems were and explaining what needed to be done to remedy the problems. I would definately use Modern Plumbing again.

They are great and it is a well run company. The workers who came to my house seemed to be family men who had a lot of integrity. They were very honest and I trusted them. They worked in my house even when I was not at home.

They went above and beyond for me. They did a great job.
