Professional technician explored the leak and explained the problem. He.then gave me.a quote, which seemed fair I reported the estimate to my Insurance. I received a lower estimate which I used.

It was such a pleasant experience dealing with this team. From the initial estimate to the finished product. I had asked for the softener to be installed in a specific place (not the most convenient) . David and Scott did such an amazing job. Unfortunately the unit was defective (not purchased from Modem) they even disconnected it for me so i can return I will definately be using modern again for all my plumbing needs

The process was quick and painless. We called one evening about our shower draining very slowly and they sent a tech (his name was Ray, super nice guy) first thing the next morning. He quickly fixed the clog, caused by my wifes hair, and showed me how I could fix it myself in case it happened again so I wouldn't have to pay again for the same service which I thought was a nice gesture.

We called Modern Plumbing to find and fix a leak in our shower which was leaking onto our patio. Mike the technician was very professional, knowledgable, and efficient. He assessed the problem right away, as soon as he opened the drain from the shower he observed it was cracked and ordered the part. Although we had to pay a diagnostic fee it was deducted from the total price and we were given an Angie's list discount which helped with the overall cost of the repair. The part that was ordered was of a much better quality than the original part that cracked. In order to replace the drain, he had to cut a hole in the drywall of the patio ceiling which he did very neatly and efficiently. He thoroughly tested the new drain to be sure it was working properly. Everyone we dealt with at Modern Plumbing from Mike to the girls in the office were very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs.

Evaluated situation in kitchen, disassembled pipes and used a powered snake to clear drain. We mentioned a problem with our toilet not flushing completely and if it would be because of the blocked drains. Again he check out the toilet and replaced the mechanism in the tank and solved the problem. The plumber was very courteous, prompt, and accomplished work in about an hour. However, the charges were more than we expected, especially for the toilet work which only took about 10-15 minutes. An adjustment/discount was made which brought the cost below $400. Apparently industry pricing is based on book pricing, not hourly labor + parts + trip charge (if necessary). Considering the well-done work, we would consider using Modern Plumbing again, but, ask for estimate for each item.

Called company after pipe burst from water main on street to my home. Company squeezed me in. Robert was extremely professional and fixed leak despite monsoon rains.

Technician showed up promptly when scheduled. Assessed problem and informed me of the price. Completed the repair in a timely manner. Received discount because of Angie's List. Now the faucet works better than ever!

The first call I made was to Progress Energy because the hot water heater was leaking and I have a service policy.They called Modern as the contractor.I was called back within the hour but told there were no immediate appointments available.When I explained that there was water leaking in my garage, Anthony was here within 30 minutes and a technician David was here a few hours later with a new hot water heater.Everything was covered under the service contract except the drip pan and the charge with labor to set it up was only 80.00.What was very important to me is that Anthony told me my old hot water heater was next to the wall of my home office and I was able to pull up the carpet in the closet before any real damage was done.

Fantastic. It's never fun to have unexpected plumbing back-ups, but the job was handled perfectly. They are very responsive on the phone and honor their commitments.

Great! Just had to tighten a loose union and didn't have to replace our hot water tank!

Beginning with how my initial call was handled by their office till the time the plumber pulled away upon completing the repair, I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of my experience with Modern Plumbing Industries. Upon learning in the morning that there was water flowing out from the in-ground meter area in my front yard, I contacted the county water utility department. They sent someone to check the problem within a couple of hours, determined that it was "my responsibility" to fix the repair as it was "on my side" of the meter (of course), and then shut off the water to my home to prevent further leaking (and cost to me). At this point, I logged in to Angie's List. I read several reviews and decided to give Modern Industries a call, and I am very happy I did. Laurie, who handles the service calls, got all my information and was very professional, yet friendly. I told her I could be home from work at around 5:15 and she said one of their plumbers would be there between 4 and 6 and that if they arrived before I did, they would go ahead and start to assess what the problem was since it was outside the house anyway. When I pulled up at 5:20, Mike (their plumber), already had dug up the area of the leak and found what the problem was. Mike took the time to explain and show me what had caused the leak. He then fixed the leak, re-covered the hole, and left it looking almost as if it had never been dug up. Mike was very polite and really seemed to know his business. Mike was there about 2.5 hours and when he left I was a very happy customer. My experience with Modern Plumbing Industries was top-notch and I will use them for any plumbing jobs that may arise in the future. I rated the price "A" because, while I really don't have much in terms of plumbing expenses to use for comparison, I think that having a professional's 2.5 hours of time on top of the repair is worth the almost $300.00 I paid.

Bengiman of Modern Plumbing arrived on time to perform the work and completed the work professionaly and in a timely manner.

After firm estmate of $ 500.00 to replace gaskets, fill valve and supply lines on 2 toilets asked tech to repair 1 toilet. Billed for 2 hrs and job took 1hr. I did agree to the price of $ 250.00 only because I had to have 1 working that day. Invoice has no prices for any parts or labor, just the quantity and total cost. Had large box store install NEW toilet for 270.00 several weeks later.

It went well and the company was very professional. HE performed all the work as outlined and did a good job in doing so. We still ahve one drain that seems to be slow draining but not sure that there is anything else he could have done for that one.

Was really happy. Price a bit high but that's just plumbers who use book rates not time and material.

I had a bath tube that was draining slowly, so I used drain cleaners from the store and ended up with a bath tube that didn't drain at all. I called modern plumbing and they were very flexible in coming on the day and time that was most convenient to me. They arrived on time and had the drain cleared in under 2 hours. The technician was friendly and gave me some good suggestions for keeping the drain clear in the future.

I wasn't able to use my master toilet for over a month. The shut off handle and leak, and the tank will overflow once flushed and water wouldn't stop running. I called Modern Plumbing Industries, which I found on Angie's List and called them because of the great reviews and ratings I saw. Charles, who was the plumber they sent out was very professional, and took time to not only fix the problem, but also told me ways I could save money in the future by getting their value plan, which I loved and ended up joining. The schedule was a bit off, as far as when he arrived, as I scheduled for someone to be there early in the morning, since I had to go to work; he was late, however, he still performed an excellent job and was very quick. I do reccommend them! The price and service was excellent, from the person who answered the phone initially, to the plumber. I will sure be using them again.

They cleaned up after themselves and they did a good job. They even covered their feet every time they went in and out of the house. They were super. I was impressed. I have already recommended them to people.

Very responsive. Arrived when indicated. Cleared clog out quickly, under an hour. Very professional to deal with. Thought price seemed high, but don't really have anything to compare with.

I pretty much told about it in the previous section. Overall it was a good experience. Nobody likes to have to spend that kind of money on something that's no fun, like plumbing. But it was necessary and they made the experience as easy on me and my routine as was possible. They answered all my question and I felt that they were very honest. The office staff is great. They're very responsive and on top of things.
