Left a message for 24 hour care at 11:00 P.M. Saturday night, Modern plumbing responded within 15 minutes. The tech was willing to come that very night--I told him Sunday a.m. would be fine. tech showed up on Sunday and was able to find the problem within an hour. Our sewer line was cracked allowing weeds to grow into the pipe and restrict the flow. He cleared the line and arranged for another visit for Monday a.m. to repair the line. The final repair was completed on Monday. I would highly recommend Modern Plumbing ***** five stars all the way!

Gentleman was on time and did his job well. No complaints.

David was fantastic. He suggested a repair that was reasonable and the company gave me a great price on the repair.

I called first thing in the morning, and they were able to send out a plumber a couple of hours later. It was Robert that did the work. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and did a good job. I would hire them again.

I used Modern Plumbing once before and was very pleased with their service & professionalism.. So when I had 2 leaking faucets I called them again. We needed to replace the cartridge in the kitchen faucet and decided to install a new faucet in the laundry room.The plumber, David was very professional & courteous. He worked very efficiently and we haven't had any issues with either faucet since the service. I would definitely recommend this company. They also provide a discount to Angie's list customers and are very good at keeping their customers informed of the arrival times of the plumbers.

Plumbing was backed up from the street, had sewage coming into the showers and sinks. It was 9:00P on Sunday night. Called David Nieves from Modern Plumbing. He was very patient with my wife on the phone as he talked us through what to look for outside of our house. When he was able to diagnose what the problem was, came to our house and ran a snake from the house out to the street. Cleaned out the drain and gave me good advice on how to avoid this situation in the future. Very prompt, courteous, and most importantly, fixed my back up showers and toilets. The quoted price he gave us on the phone was the same price we paid, did not try and take advantage of the situation. Would definitely use them again.

We called on Sunday 4/26 because our rental house plumbing was backing up. We chose Modern Plumbing because of the previous good listed. However I was very disappointed in the service we received. The plumber, Steve, who called to say he was going to be coming to check out the work seemed very annoyed that we would not be there in person, however the tenant would be. After he arrived he called to ask where the drain pipe for the septic tank was located. Being that I am not a plumber or familiar with septic tanks I did not know where this item was. I could tell he was quite frustrated with that answer and we finally just had to ask aside from finding the clean out pipe "What can you do to fix our problem?" He had to go on the roof and clean out the pipes from there. After that conversation we never heard back from him. A few hours later we contacted out tenant to find out that everything was working again. While I appreciate the work being done and in a fairly quick manner on a Sunday. I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism of Steve. In saying this after contacting the company letting them know about out experience we received a call from the Service Manager Dave, who was very nice and apologized for the service we received. He definitely made it right and the customer service we received from him more then made up for the bad experience with their tech. We also received a call personally from Charles Brocco, one of the owners of the company also apologizing for the experience. Seeing how much they care about Customer Service and how much they were trying to make up for our experience we can see why there are so many good reviews for this company.

I called my solar company on 4/21 who was unable to get me on the schedule for 9 days, then I called Modern Plumbing. They had me on the schedule for this afternoon between 2-5. They called around 1pm to see if I wanted them to arrive early- I called back with a YES. When I pulled in the tech was in my driveway pulling in my recycle bins (HOW THOUGHTFUL!). He had the element fixed and checked out other items in about 30 minutes for a very reasonable price.

Very professional. They arrived on and did a good job.

Called plumber, they went out of their way to get out here as quickly as possible to fix our leak. They were very cordial and happily answered any questions I may have had.

The office personnel is very friendly and professional. The first technician that came over to look at the problem was very prompt, very professional and courteous. He gave me an estimate and I made an appointment to have the work done. The technician who actually did the project was a half an hour late but was very professional and courteous. He installed the wax gasket, installed new new bolts that holds the toilet to the floor and he grouted around the base of the toilet. I am very pleased with this company and would most definitely hire them again if I need to.

The tech was very professional and a Boston fan which added to the experience! Didn't waste time, was very neat and clean, both him and his work. Last night this was an emergency which their manage walked me through over the phone last night in order to have this service call today. Also, the 10% discount for using Angie's list more than paid for my subscription to your service. Lee

They did fine. They came and pointed out what was wrong. It ended up being something relatively minor. They repaired it and didn't charge, so that was really a good deal. It took them five minutes to fix the problem and it's been perfect ever since. They got out here the same day I called, so you can't ask for more than that.

It went well. I was happy with his service. I had to say he did an outstanding work.

It was easy to schedule diagnostic service for a problem of restricted hot water flow. Quick arrival and diagnosis; and temporary relief of restriction. Replacement of the water heater was schedule for the next morning; and job was completed within 2 hours.

A couple of days before Christmas, the hot water became extremely hot coming out of my faucets, then the next day there was no hot water. Prior to communicating with Modern Plumbing Industries (MPI) , I called a formerly-used plumber and the man came out and said I needed a new water heater (without really taking anything apart) and quoted $1,500 for the replacement. I also reviewed other sink and faucet issues and he quoted $300 without even detailing the specifics of each issue. Knowing not when the hot water heater was last replaced, but knowing it could be up to 15-years or more, I scheduled for the work to be done the next day, Christmas eve. Having received a letter from our energy company about a hot water heater maintenance service with them listing that "you could pay up to $1,200 for a new hot water heater" -- and expecting that "up to $1,200" would be a high-end cost for a hot water heater -- the yellow-flashing "sucker" light in my brain lit up and I called Modern Plumbing Industries, who'd I'd used previously but forgot why I wrote the note "Do Not Use Again" on the first plumbing company's receipt . I asked MPI hypothetically what it would cost, if needed, for a new 50-gallon hot water heater, and, with my Angie's List Discount, was quoted in the low $800s. The RED-flashing sucker light in my brain was really flaming now! I cancelled the initial appointment and scheduled an appointment with Modern Plumbing Industries. James arrived 8am on the day after Christmas. Turned out I didn't need a new hot water heater, but just new thermostats. He also took the time to show me how to adjust the temperature, if necessary. I reviewed all my other plumbing issues and questions and agreed that the only work which was really necessary was to repair one faucet's gasket/s and clean out the one sink stopper and adjust. James is absolutely incredible. I think he should be a psychologist for his manner in alleviating my concerns and his technical skills and knowledge make it all look as simple as buttering bread (and it only takes him that long to fix things too!). So, Modern Plumbing Industries saves this sucker $1,100. Quite a nice Christmas present.

Was a bull dog making sure everything was taken care of and up to code before leaving. Was not and easy fix but was persistent in making sure everything was good and complete before they left.

I can not express how pleased i am to know that there are still companies that focus on their quality work, quality employees, and great customer service. I called Modern at 11 pm on a Tuesday night to be pleasantly surprised that a friendly voice answered the phone and i wasn't left talking to a answering machine or a call center that wasn't going to pass my message on. Unfortunately, my wife was taking a shower and i was giving our son a bath when both of the bathrooms started to flood. After we cleaned up i called Modern and they were more than willing to come out right away, but since i had stopped the water and i had already cleaned up i told them they could call me in the morning to set up an appointment. Their follow through was amazing!!! Around 7:15 am i got a call from their service department wanting to know what time they could come out and look at the problem and by 8:30 they were there. My plumber Ray was awesome. He took the time to look and thoroughly clean every line. I found out that Ray has been with the company for over 20 years and that shows what type of company they must be. Since he wasn't satisfied with not be able to come up with a definite answer he decided to use there camera where he found that a national cable company that was upgrading the lines the week before drilled right through our line. Lucky for us the supervisor for that company was checking up on crew when he was able to witness first hand through Modern's camera technology that they were at fault. Within the next 30 minutes Ray was fixing the problem. Thanks again to Ray and the entire Modern Staff. You guys were great and i will definitely recommend you to anyone in need.

While mowing the lawn, I accidentally hit the the water main pipe going into the house and it broke. This happened late afternoon on a Saturday during the long Labor Day holiday weekend. I called MPI and was shortly contacted by Steve. Although he had to take care of another emergency service call first, he was willing to take care of mine at 10 P.M. that night. I opted to wait until the next morning. Steve arrived about 15 minutes before the agreed time and performed the repair quickly and professionally. I'm very satisfied with the way they handled my service request and would consider using their services again.

Mike showed up at the designated time, and made the necessary repairs. He was friendly, professional, and efficient. All of the work was done within 2 hours.

It went very well. The test he performed saved time and money from having someone tear the shower apart trying to find and fix the problem. His service was timely. I thought the service call was a little pricey for less than 20 minutes of work and not directly fixing the problem. The man, on his own, offered to check out/fix other minor problems. I had a sink stopper than needed adjustment and he took care of it. I am very pleased with this vendor.

Mark with Modern Plumbing was right on time and very courteous despite it being late in the day. He provided an estimate and completed the work in a very timely manner. When all was said and done, the total bill was LESS than the estimate and I was very pleased with the quality of the job. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family.

Robert saw the problem Immediately - there was a spot behind toilet that missed the caulk application. He recommended sealing it up. This morning I was drain fly FREE for the 1st time in months!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Robert!!!
