Very nice service person arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was able to clear the situation from outside the house, fixed it and was gone within 45 minutes.

Excellent responsiveness. On a holiday the technition returned my call quickly and was very helpful talking through the issues and provided clear pricing quotes for the various things they might have to do. After agreeing to services, he showed up earlier than estimated and quickly and professionally fixed the leaking shower faucet. Water was back on and able to enjoy the rest of the holiday.

David was our technician and did an excellent job. He was very professional, personable and polite. We will definitely use Modern Plumbing again should we need their services.

Friendly from start to finish. We were in a complete pinch and needed the service done ASAP. Even on a busy day, they were able to slip us in. David Nieves our technician was very professional and courteous and even offered us some solutions outside of the snake job done on the main drain. They work on a price schedule. No hidden "gotcha" fees here. For quick and friendly service they are the go to plumbers.

We had significant back ups in our kitchen and bathrooms. We received a very significant quote and work recommendation from a well known company in town. I called Modern Plumbing for a second opinion as I was quite overwhelmed. David came out and was kind, professional and very patient with all my questions. He was at my house 5 hours unclogging the kitchen clog from the roof and diagnosing the problems with my sewer drain. They gave a much more conservative recommendation then the first company. They started the still large project 2 business days later. They did rip up my Mexican tile and concrete slab. David contacted me with any decisions that had to be made. I really felt that he was my advocate over the following 4 days. David and other employees were willing to work late into the evening hours in order to get the job done in the 4 days they had assigned to the project. David was respectful of my home and tried to minimize the mess involved. It was a large project outside my home as well. They did tell me that my paver walk way would be disassembled in order to do the piping. But they tried to minimize the damage and put my sod back together. Job was $6500. If I had to use them I would certainly call modern plumbing and ask for David again.

My tech (Robert) was Superman to the rescue......in only a short time, he accurately diagnosed the problem, determined the best and most cost effective way to handle it and proceeded to bring "normal" back to this widow's world. I am so grateful for Angie's List and all the wonderful reviews that helped me select Modern Plumbing.......I will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs I might have......their honesty and professionalism will be remembered by me and I will confidently recommend them to friends and family. The quality of the work performed was excellent. My main concern, however, were the prices presented to me at the time. I was quoted almost $400 for a dish washer install. This seemed incredibly steep and I did not have him do the dishwasher install due to the price. Also, when asked if he could do a short visual inspection on the toilet hoses, I was informed that it would cost me $89.00 for this to occur as this service was part of a "package deal" that comes with many other perks including a 15% discount. Since Angie's List members already get 10% off, it did not benefit me to pay $89 for an additional 5% savings at that time. So basically for me, an additional $89 for simply a visual inspection of hoses (especially when I was paying for him to come out to do a valve replacement and this wasn't even the cost to replace hoses) seemed quite steep. I also would have bought new hoses from the company had the inspection shown I needed new hoses. Again, I would say the quality of work was good and the plumber himself was polite and skilled, but the prices were pretty high and I felt a little "nickle and dimed" by the $89 quote when all I really needed/wanted was a quick inspection on some hoses.

Ray spent approximately three and a half hours installing the water heater. due in large part to actually fitting the low boy in the very cramped space in the condo. Ray had to make certain adjustments in order to have a good outcome. He did an excellent job and made sure the area was clean without the owner having to do any clean-up herself. Ray was personable, professional and very hard working. I would highly recommend this company to others and I would definitely use this company again if the need arises.

Purchased the $39 Toilet Plumbing Inspection as I knew we had a problem with one of our toilets. The technician that came to our home was great - extremely professional, pleasant & knowlegable. We felt very comfortable with his analysis of the issue. The technician did not have the part needed on his truck as he had just used the last one so he left, picked one up & came back for the repair. Overall, it was a great experience and our technician totally sold us on using Modern Plumbing in the future for any issues we may have.

We had a blockage in a vanity sink line in the Master Bath. Our plumber, David N., was very knowledgeable and proceeded to unclog the drain line using his sectional machine. David was courteous, friendly and ensured the area would be kept clean by prepping the area, taping down heavy duty plastic, removing vanity doors and protecting the cabinets from damage while working. The work went well and was completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend Modern Plumbing Industries and would not hesitate to call them again if the need would arise.

They were okay. There were no additional costs. The service was good but I don't think it was worth what I paid for.

Tech Carson came both times. He is very polite professional and diligent. The price may have been on the high side for the hose bib but the work was spot on and the service impeccable. This time the evaluation revealed the toilets probably need to be replaced or upgraded. There was no charge this time. But I would have gladly paid a call fee just because Carson is so pleasant and professional.

In Sept. I received toilet/plumbing inspection and repair of one toilet at a reasonable promo price of $39. It was to fix a very minor problem that I had had for many years: I had to hold the lever down to complete the flushing. No biggie, really. On this visit, it was 'fixed' with a new flapper, I have learned. Subsequently, I have had a much more serious problem but waited a few weeks to call about it because it was intermittent: the fill function did not shut off and the water ran for hours until I noticed the problem. I finally called the other day because this was affecting my water bill and a waste. Well, I didn't have this issue before the 'repair' and now I was confronted with an additional repair that cost $98, although it was a discounted price. In retrospect, I probably should have stayed with the minor issue. Getting it fixed cost over $100. I did not anticipate this and probably have no recourse. PS I just got my water bill and that 'problem' that resulted from the first visit caused my bill to go up by 33%, the highest ever in over 8 years. Despite all of the above, I now have greater respect for this company and its ownership.In response to my feedback, I got a phone call from the owner and we shared our perspectives on this matter. It was very professionally and amicably handled. Mr. Norcross is very responsive and open to feedback. It was a very productive conversation for both of us. He demonstrated a lot of integrity as well as receptivity to my feedback and clearly is committed to customer satisfaction and providing the highest quality service.. I would recommend Modern Plumbing Industries without hesitation. I therefore have again revised and updated this review.

The plumber was punctual and professional, however he was very much a "corporate plumber," by which I mean he was 50% plumber and 50% salesman. I eventually got a quote from a different firm (mom and pop type) that was MUCH lower. Part of the problem may have been that this firm charges by the job and not the hour. If you think the price quoted is too high try asking them to quote by the hour.

Modern Plumbing did an excellent job with our repair. They were professional, courteous and timely. Their prices were very fair, especially for an emergency call on the weekend. We couldn't be happier with their service and have recommended them to many people since our repair.

In one day Modern Plumber replaced the kitchen & laundry room sewer pipes (2 inch cast iron) which had rusted through. They dug under the kitchen slab and, breaking only one floor tile, replace the 10 feet of sewer pipe with PVC. The laundry sewer was brought outside the garage and under the pool deck to join the new kithchen pipe. Next day the plumber put in a two-way cleanout to the 4 inch main sewer to the street at no extra cost. The sewer camera worked but was not fully functional so he discounted to $150. His approach to repair saved over $5000 compared to other plumber estimates.
