Great, they sent a technician out who snaked the line (roots in pipe) and cleared part of the blockage. He determined that the blockage was on the county side and suggested that I contact them to get the blockage totally repaired. We also found a different part of the pipe was broken which I had him repair.

Great! We had a leak in the main water valve on the outside of our house. It was leaking into the house, soaking the floor. I have used Modern Plumbing in the past so I called them when I discovered the leak. It was the end of the day and they were so nice and helpful. They sent their technician, Joseph right out to replace the valve. He did a thorough job and we appreciated that although it was late when I called, they were able to send him right out to us. As I mentioned, we have used them several times and have always been pleased with the quality of the work and their professionalism. I apologize this review is so late but I had misfiled the paperwork.

GREAT! I wasn't sure if I could get someone to come out in such sort notice. I had a few leaks going on and couldn't even turn my water back on. This company had good reviews so I decided to try them. When I called the Ladies were very nice and easy to talk to. I was relieved to be able to understand them. I was very happy with the young man. He gave me a price right away and got started when I said the price was good. He knew exactly what he was doing. You could tell he had done it for a long time, He was experienced which made me feel at ease. And not once did he waste any time, He got the job done! And The price was very reasonable for an emergency call. Thanks Modern Plumbing! I now have a great plumbing company I can call in the future. :)

We have used Modern Plumbing before and were pleased with the results. This time, we had a leak in the water main on the day we were leaving for vacation. Modern dispatched Tommy within a few hours. He quickly fixed the leak and we were able to leave. Again, totally happy with Tommy and Modern Plumbing.

Same day response and quick repair. Kept us notified while the water was off and promptly fixed the issue so we were without water for only an hour.

Mike had to move around some of the inputs to install the anode rod. This doubled the cost, but was well worth it. It is not something we could have done ourselves. We considered getting a new water heater even though this one was about 2 yrs old...and we are very happy that the anode rod took care of the issue within days.

David was very good diagnosing what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it. He let me know that a shower head I had bought would not actually work because it could cause me more problems in the future. I was very appreciative that he let me know that so I didn't waste my money. He also made sure everything was working in my bathrooms and showed me what I needed to keep an eye on in the future to make sure things didn't get bad with my pipes. Very good overall.

Very nice, courteous, professional gentleman. Passed county inspection but I noticed that the shutoff valve handle does not open fully because it hits the side of the new expansion tank; this is the reason for the quality B grade . Water pressure seems fine; it's just an obstruction that could have been avoided by moving the existing shutoff valve closer to the wall away from the new expansion tank that was installed on top of the water heater. Everything else is great!

I had ordered a new LG dishwasher from Home Depot that finally arrived last Tuesday (after a 4 month wait on back-order from Lowe's!!! But that's another story...) and when they dropped it off they took one look under my sink and refused to install it. Something about pop-off pipes, I don't know... But here I was with this long awaited dream on my doorstep and no way to get it installed! So I got on Angie's List and found Modern Plumbing, called them up and explained my issue to their dispatcher. Minutes later I received notice they could send me someone that same day to complete my install and I was overjoyed! Tom arrived within the suggested window of time between 3-5 pm and after introductions took about 5 minutes to assess the situation and got right to work. It took a bit to complete only because we ran into an issue when he pointed out the manufacturer shipped my unit with brackets too short for their intended purpose, but he was crafty enough to come up with another way to secure my dishwasher within the cabinet space. Tom was polite, knowledgeable, pleasant with my youngest son, even when he was sometimes in his way, and got along famously with our family puppy. We now have our super efficient and ultra-quiet dishwasher in place, running without a hitch. He also offered to haul away the old dishwasher but I already had pick up scheduled for that through Home Depot still. He does amazing, quality work and I will be using him again in the future! It was an excellent experience. David Nieves was our service technician, and was professional from the start when he introduced himself, and his professionalism continued throughout the entire experience. Backing up from David, the person I spoke with on the phone when setting up the appt could not have been more professional as well. This experience impressed with Modern Plumbing, and I don't plan to change to another company in the future. This company will be my go to plumbing company going forward.

Company was on-time and looked over the problems and made an assessment to fix. They needed to get the parts from a supplier, but came back rather quickly and fixed the leaks. Thomas was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The customer service from Modern plumbing is great. From the time I called to make an appointment to when the Plumber came for the estimate. Robert came out today and explained what needed to happen because we have a small sink. We decided not to have the disposal replaced at this time because it is more expensive than we anticipated but when we are ready we will call them to get the job done. We've used modern plumbing before and will use them again.

The repairman (David Nieves) was very courteous, and was happy to answer all my questions and concerns. Repair done quickly with no problems!!

David was prompt, fast, professional and friendly-worth the $300 it cost to know it was done properly and there would not be any future problems. We learned some plumbing tips, too!

It's nice to be educated by the service person. He was willing to provide the information about what really happened with and to the stuff that needed to have fixed.

James was courteous and professional. We discussed in detail exactly what I wanted and the estimate was fair. The work was done cleanly and professionally and even though James and Tyler were there longer than planned, the estimated price was what I paid. I highly recommend this company and I will surely use them again myself!
