My whole experience with them was simply awesome. They were quick in returning my calls. When we made an appointment for them to pick up and deliver the furniture, they were courteous, prompt and attentive. At the time, we were in the process of doing renovations to a home we had bought. The plan was to move around mid October. However, due to construction delays, the move to our new home was about 4 weeks late. June and Jerry were extremely understanding and really went out of their way to help us during this transition. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Because we were so pleased with their work, my sister is going to have several of her heirloom pieces refinished too. I would highly recommend June and Jerry without hesitation!

I had a James Sterling single bed and chest that were given to me by my grandmother. My son used this bed set and basically damaged the chest. I knew that it was a well built piece of furniture, but was not sure if it was worth refinishing. I met with Jerry the first time to get his opinion on whether to refinish or toss. Jerry confirmed my thoughts and said it was maple and worth refinishing. There were a couple of missing pieces of hardware. June helped me to locate some original hardware at Rennigers to match what we had. When I came to pick up the set, I was so amazed at how well it looked and the work that had been done on it. Even inside the drawers were refinished. When my son saw the bed set, he commented that it looked better now than before it had been refinished. June and Jerry are the best. They are helpful, honest and really great people to deal with. I would recommend them to anybody who needs refinishing work done. I have used them a second time to repair an old family mirror with the same great results. Again I would recommend them to anybody.

It was such a pleasant experience dealing with them. They were very helpful with suggestions and truly wanted to please us as the customer.

I called June and told her I had two end tables to be refinshed. I agreed to bring them to her business. They can pick up for an extra charge. June and her husband Jerry looked over the pieces and agreed to do the work. Had there not been brass accents to deal with, the cost to do the job would have been less. I gave them a down payment and was told the job would take about three weeks. That was ok with us. When we picked up the pieces, we were thrilled with the results. The end tables never looked better. The workmanship was first rate. We would definitely recommend Family Furniture-Antiques for wood furniture restoration.

They did an outstanding job, and the piece probably has never looked so good since it was made in the 1920's. Jerry gave great ideas on types of finish and stain, and he was right. All was done on time, and better than expected. What a great experience. They also have great pieces for sale in their premises that are very reasonable. Would go back again and again.

I took in a bedside table that had a badly scarred top. I had in mind just re-finishing the top. The company was willing to do that and did not try to pressure me into doing more extensive work, but I realized that the piece really needed to be completely re-done. The price quoted was not cheap but was fair and I was able to bargain a little. The work was performed professionally and completed on time. The owener of this family-owned company was personable, helpful, and willing to do whatever it took to satisfy me. I would use the company again and would recommend it.

June and Jerry came to my house to give me estimates on the pieces I wanted redone. The cabinet needed a little repair as well as refinishing, and it was a major undertaking because of the detail on the piece. The work surface was linoleum that had to be replaced, and June went with me to several places to help me pick out new material. They paid attention to every little detail, and the cabinet is beautiful. They are knowledgeable about antiques, handle them with care, and take pride in their work. They came again this morning to pick up four more pieces to do. I highly recommend them.

The work was beautifully done on time and on price. The shop was careful to keep me informed and offered me choices on the project. This shop did work for which I had a previous quote from another shop that was $500 more.
