Victor has done an absolutely amazing job on my ball and stick corner chair. It’s from late 1800’s and to say I’m extremely happy about how it turned out would be an understatement! I had four pieces of living room furniture repaired and refinished. They charged a reasonable amount for quality work. If you want cheap, this is not the place, but if you have nice furniture and want to keep it, then they know how to make it look great.

June requested by text message that I send photos, which I did. I was told that I would receive a quote the next day. After several days of hearing nothing, I sent a text. A week has passed since I was promised a quote and I have heard nothing.

After searching many different companies, I was very please with the review that I read on Angie's list. June was always very responsive to my many questions, and explained the options of what we could do with the piece. We didn't want to hide the beautiful wood work by painting it, so we decided to have it stripped and stained. Victor and Jerry were so kind, professional and careful with the piece. They even took a leaf that we had wanted the China cabinet to match, and they did it flawlessly! I would highly recommend this company, and we will definitely be using them again very soon. Everything they have done has been done beautifully. Refinished the top of a mahogany chest that had a deep scratch - looks perfect. Touched up a chair - looks perfect. Stripped and painted an end table - looks like it came from a high end furniture store. June, her husband and their employee are real professionals. They know their business and are very easy to work with. I highly recommend Family Furniture.

We recently purchased a dining room server that was damaged during shipping. There were a couple of significant dents in the front, and a place where the finish was damaged. Family Furniture did an incredible job of repairing the piece! You can't tell that there was ever any damage there! They even fixed the finish in some areas that we hadn't noticed before. They did this all within the original price, and in less than a week. In addition, June and Jerry are exceptionally nice people and are a pleasure to work with. We will be using Family Furniture for all of our future furniture repair needs. They also have a very nice selection of antique furniture at their store!

The final product was exactly what we wanted. June told us they had not done anything like this before, but you would never know it from the finished product - it was fantastic. We initially gave them a shelf to work with so they could come up with the finish my wife was looking for. When we went down the first time to look at what had been done, it wasn't quite there. My wife talked with the re-finisher and explained in detail what she was hoping for. When we went back the second time - the shelf had the exact finish she wanted. We had the entertainment center picked up at our house; they were on time and even spent some time with us discussing other furniture that we had. What we thought might be a several months process, was completed in weeks. They delivered the entertainment center to the house and took it upstairs; it looked great! We have friends who have used Family Furniture Antiques and they had the same positive experience we had. I currently have a dining room chair in our van to take to them tomorrow - our son's dog chewed on it. I am sure when they are done with it, you will never know it was damaged.

June arranged to have the wrought iron stand sandblasted to get the rust and old paint off of it. They then painted the stand with automotive paint. I wanted the paint to be satin finish - most automotive paints are gloss. The stand was then painted and it came out beautifully. I wanted glass shelves for the stand and she recommended a company to make them. The company was far cheaper and did a great job (another review) for the stand. Family Furniture also stabilized an old end table that was my husband's grandmother's. The table was then sanded down and restained. It is absolutely beautiful. We have taken several items to Family Furniture (June & Jerry) and have never been disappointed.

Local "mom and pop" local shop that did an amazing job on a 20 year old walnut chest with lots of dog scratches. Could not be happier. Very nice/honest people who do great work. Highly recommended.

They did an amazing job! The table looks better than it did when my husband bought it. You can't even tell that there were any repairs on the chairs. I had no idea it could be done! Everybody was responsive and actually showed up at the time they said they would. They gave a quote of 2-3 weeks and it was done in 2 weeks and 2 days. We are moving so they picked up the set from our old house and then delivered to the new address which we really appreciate. Thank you for making our table beautiful again. We are now proud of our dining room set and can't wait to have guests come over for dinner to show it off!

They refinished an antique table that was in pretty bad shape. It came out amazing!! Looks brand new! They came to my house to pick it up and told me step by step what would be done. They did such an amazing job that I'm getting an antique desk refinished as well. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted June to repair a wood chair. The chair seat had broken on one side and my husband had tried to install a long screw to fix it. The screw was stuck in the wood frame sticking out about 3 inches. I brought them the chair on Wednesday and they called Friday to say it was done. It looks new and the seat and chair frame are now sturdy. After installing the screws they had put a plug over the screw to hide it- it matched the other screw heads perfectly. June even went above and beyond by using a wood marker on a couple of scratches on the chair. (One word of caution for those using their service - they are fantastic but their door is immediately next to another furniture store and if you drop there accidentally another provider will fix your chair. Jim will claim you said "JIm" and not that you were looking for "June". Make sure you ask if you are in Family Furniture when you drop off.)

Family furniture surpassed our expectations in every way, they were so easy and accommodating to deal with, and the desk looks like LIKE BRAND NEW and works perfectly. This is a family heirloom and is very special. They made it come to a "new" life and we so so grateful. We will bring anything else we need re-done and recommend them to everyone.
