I arrived with a broken barstool that we had purchased for a very good client. June was so pleasant and helpful. Her husband came out from the workshop took a look and told us exactly what we needed to do. it was a simple fix. They even sent us to the perfect store to purchase the part that we needed. No fee was charged and we met two lovely people. If we ever need furniture repair we now know where to go.

Great repair - super folks. June and Larry were the best! They are a family owned business and the nicest folks! I highly recommend them for anything that they can do! I could not recommend these folks more highly!

After numerous emails with June, we finally set up an appointment on 11/3. On the same date, I emailed June to let her know that I was unable to make it due to work issues. She never responded. The repair guy calls me around 5pm to let me know that he is nearby. I told him that I was unable to make it on that date if he could reschedule the appointment. He said yes and he can do it on 11/5 early in the morning. I told him that would be fine. He never showed up nor call.

I had a piece of a futon that was broken completely in two pieces. Some of the splintered pieces were even missing. I went in expecting they would fabricate a similar piece for me, not even caring that it wouldn't look the same. I was shocked that the owner said he could fix the piece and that it would look the same and be strong. I was even MORE shocked when I picked it up and you couldn't even tell where it was previously broken. The futon was about $900 so paying $80 to fix this weight bearing piece was a great deal for me. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone.

They were the most professional people I have dealt with in a long time. They kept in constant contact with me, always answered my questions and never made me feel like I was a problem. They went above and beyond great customer service. My dining room set turned out absolutely beautiful!!! Even better then I had imagined it would. This belonged to my husbands parents and both are deceased, this has great sentimental value to us and the decision to let it be redone was difficult to make. They came and picked it up in Port Orange, found someone to reupholster the chairs and redelivered it to us. They were right on schedule and when I had mentioned my husbands siblings would be coming for a visit. they managed to get if finished and delivered ahead of schedule so that we had it when they got here. I would absolutely recommend Family Furniture and if the need arises we will use them again, as a matter of fact I will only use them! More owners should run their businesses this well!

Jerry and June did an awesome job on all of the pieces. All of the furniture looks brand new and beautiful. The table/chairs and bookcase were from my husband's parents. He wanted to keep all of the pieces in the family, but they were badly worn and scratched. I didn't want to keep them unless we refinished them - didn't think they could look this good. Same goes for the chest of drawers. They were rickety and had been in an outside storage shed for years. The wood was split in several places and the drawers were hard to open/close. You wouldn't believe this was the same set of drawers we sent to Family Furniture. The dresser is solid now and drawers open/close great. We were so happy with the dining room furniture, we bought a buffet from them and are having them refinish it to go with the table and chairs. Very, very pleased. Will definitely have them refinish other pieces we have.

My mother left me her spinet desk when she passed away, and before her my grandmother used it. I brought to Jerry and June, and they were very professional and explained to me thoroughly what needed to be done to make it like new again. It was pretty beat up in the last 70+ years, so a lot of work had to be done.The work that Jerry did was amazing - my only regret is that my mother isn't alive to see how beautiful it looks. My daughter now uses it and loves it. I could have spent the same amount of money at Pottery Barn Kids for a new desk and chair, but it wouldn't have been the same quality nor have the sentimental value this set has. Everyone that sees it remarks how beautiful it is - the piece really stands out in the room. Jerry and June are a very pleasant couple to work with, and I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

OMG!!! I could not believe the incredible work they did to refinish and restore the pieces. Absolutely beautiful, showroom new looking. Have recommended them to friends as well....am hoping to send them more of my pieces their way in the future. They are very knowledgeable of furniture and so enjoyable to talk to.Very personable. A company that you can truly trust with family heirlooms or yard sale finds!!

This company was very responsive when contacted. They came to my home and gave me an estimate on all pieces. I was impressed with their friendliness and knowledge. I was thoroughly pleased with the finished work. They are now working on three additional pieces. I highly recommend this company.

I have had possession of this table for 20 years & didn't use it & only dusted/polished it. Made the decision to start using it & called Family Furniture. Every call/ e-mail was handled in a kind, professional, direct manner. They accommodated my timeline. Table picked up & refinished & delivered back in beautiful condition. The owners are nice people who obviously enjoy their work & do excellent work. Very pleased with the whole experience and how often does that happen? Thanks so much!

The husband and wife team in my opinion are the best. They arrived on time even calling a few minutes prior to let me know they were on their way. The husband took his time to explain to me the process on what needed to be done and what I could expect for results. The work was done according to schedule and their prices were extremely reasonable. Upon returning the cabinets they told me that they needed to strip the cabinets down and had a difficult time matching the stain. Their price never increased for this extra work. They quoted me a price and stood by that price. The cabinets were only 6 years old however something happened to four of them that the finish came off. They look beautiful and match the existing cabinets exactly. I highly recommend June and Jerry and would not hesitate to use them again. So glad I found Family Furniture.

I have now used this provider for 6 pieces and plan to use them for more. The quality of work is outstanding and the prices are fair. I am VERY pleased with Family Furniture! They have restored antique and family pieces to usable condition once again. I wish my Grandma was here to see. They get the job done within the quoted time, and do an excellent job besides. Their business neighbor does upholstery, so you essentially have one stop shopping as they also work together. A highly recommend Family Furniture and will be using them for many more pieces! They breath new life into your home!

This chest had been gouged and scratched on the top. It also had some nicks from over the years. They redid the top and fixed the nicks. It looks brand new!

Excellent work! They spent some extra time and filled in some extra gaps.

He was meticulous and made it look like a new and beautiful piece of furniture.

When I delivered the rocker to the shop, I was shown the operation and pieces that had been refurbished or rebuilt. The work was beautiful. After discussing what I wanted done with the rocker, I was told the price and when the rocker would be ready. The rocker was ready as promised, only I could not pick it up promptly. Family Furniture held it for me until I could get it. No problem. I am so pleased with the work done, that I am having Family Furniture refinish a chart and map cabinet, which I am delivering to them tomorrow. I also, have stained glass panels which need new hardware that I want them to repair. I highly recommend this company.

Both June and Jerry showed genuine concern for the proper care and restoration of my grandmother's vanity/dresser. They understood how special the piece is to me and the outcome was amazing.

The only reason I gave them a "B" as a expert woodworker that is a friend of mine saw the work on the leg and said that he would have done it a different way so that the repair didn't show. But Family Furniture was there when I needed the repair done and the "friend" wasn't available to make the repairs. I would recommend them highly.

THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED SHORTLY BEFORE MY DAIGHTER'S FAMILY ARRIVED FOR A HOLIDAY VISIT FROM NYC TO ORLANDO. I WAS DOUBTFUL THAT IT COULD BE REPAIRED BECAUSE THE BASE WAS NOT ONLY BROKEN BUT ALSO PARTIALLY SPLINTERED. THE BASE WAS NOT ONLY REPAIRED BUT ALSO REFINISHED.TO MATCH PERFECTLY THE TABLE TOP. tHE PROVIDERS EVEN CAME TO OUR HOME, TOOK THE TABLE AND RETURNED IT WHEN COMPLETE.

I enjoyed meeting Jerry & June and will contact them in the future if I need furniture repair/refinishing. I could tell that they take great pride in their work and treat people fairly.

They looked at other items of furniture in my home and told me which items were worth refinishing. They referred me to a company that can do glass work as well. They went above and beyond. They were just awesome. They were very good and we were very impressed.

I was very nervous about taking my Grandmother's rocking chair to someone for repair. I was fearful that the service would not be professional and the chair would be ruined. The chair was left with June and her husband for 6 weeks. When I picked it up this past weekend, I was so surprised at the beauty that was restored into the chair. It was gorgeous and looks brand new!! I am more than thrilled with the service and cannot thank Family Furniture enough for their expertise. I will be eternally grateful to them.

One of the paneled doors on a nice Harden dresser had a panel that had begun slipping from its original location. This needed to be repositioned and reglued by a professional. Jerry of Family Furniture handled this repair very nicely. Since the first repair had gone so well, I took in a drawer from another dresser that had a serious scratch caused during a move many years ago. I had attempted to fill the scratch, unsuccessfully, that probably made it more difficult to repair. Again the work was done quite well. The reason for the B on punctuality was that the first repair took quite a bit longer than suggested. They were re-arranging their shop plus it was a holiday weekend. I think they should have realized that it couldn't be finished in one day. Wisely, for the second repair they didn't propose a definite finish date. I would use Family Furniture again. (They also sell some older furniture.)
