Description of Work: They refinished our bedroom furniture about 10 years ago and it still looks great. They have also refinished a side table for us. Very professional. Prices are reasonable.

Description of Work: I called them to refinish my dining room table after getting several estimates. |I spoke to the owner at great length and she felt so sorry me that the top of my table had been ruined by another refinisher. |Her husband came out and told me that there was nothing he could do . I would be wasting me money. As sorry as I was, at least he was honest. |I would recommend Family Furniture highly for their honesty.

Description of Work: This husand and wife team were very professional. They came to the house to make an estimate of cost on refinishing two nightstands and six chairs. The work they performed was excellent. In additiona, they picked up and delivered the furniture.

Description of Work: They repaired an antique bed and chair. The bed included the slats that they repaired rather than cut fresh wood which would have been less costly and time-consuming to them but would have devalued the antique twin bed. The chair that they repaired required that they research the details of the chair to determine the approximate age and style of the broken piece at the top of the chair. We were traveling for several months and they called us and sent us photographs to our phones so that we could determine whether or not we wanted the service performed. As it turned out the chair part that had been broken many years before I was born was an irregular top at the neck of the chair. I would never have imagined this unusual little chair to have been so beautiful. The price was costly and I determined that I could have had it repaired for a lesser amount but because this gentleman was so professional and responsive I decided to have him do the work. That is the reason for the "B" grade under the "Price" category. However, customers should bear in mind that it was excellent quality work and I had no frame of measurement for determining cost. My grades are made on my personal approval of the end product and the process of getting to that product.
