They cleaned up after themselves, very polite, the overall work was absolutely perfect. Their pricing was abslutely reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. I would highly recommend them and I would use them again for future projects.

+ 0 moreVery well. Steve Lacey and his assistant Francisco did quality work, and found some items to fix that I hadn't requested. Even so, they finished in less time than anticipated, and the bill was less than the estimate.
Description of Work: Doors needed replacement and fixing, drier vent needed cleaning and screening, window blinds needed replacement.

+ -1 moreMy double oven wall cabinet (96 inches high) had detached from the top and was leaning forward about 2 1/2 inches from the wall. The top attachment support board was not solid wood had broken where it attached to the wall. Mr. Lacey made a new top inner support frame of real wood and reattached cabinet to wall studs. The cabinet is now flashed with the wall. Mr. Lacey arrived a few minutes earlier than his appointment time, cleaned up their mess and was always professional and polite. I highly recommend him for home repairs. Payment

He answered all my questions, explained how he charged for work, got the proper equipment to make the repairs, and did not waste time. I would give him an A+ if I could and I will definitely have him back to fix things in the future. He also volunteered to answer questions I had about future repairs, like major plumbing, that he couldn't do.
Description of Work: Replaced photo eye on lamp post, fixed gas grill ignition, replaced entrance lock on garage door and sliding patio door lock. Gave advice on plumbing and chair repair.

He did an excellent and thorough job on the shower recaulking/regrouting (the main thing that we called him in for) but also took the time to point out some other items that we might want to consider looking at, and some cost-saving suggestions that would not involve us hiring him. When he took a look at an issue we were having with one of our windows, he recommended another contractor that might be able to repair it without the necessity for a replacement. We would definitely hire him again.

+ 2 moreThanks to Steve, the life of our older kitchen cabinet drawers has been extended and in good working order. He replaced a number of window screens and went out of his way to repair a broken screen frame no longer available through the manufacturer. Thanks to weatherstripping and repairs to outside doors, the house is ready for winter. Our fence gates now open and shut properly. Steve brought his able assistant and was finished on time. We were pleased with the results and price. We would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: We had a number of window screens that needed replacing and a broken screen frame. Weather stripping for two outside doors needed. Screen doors needed reworking to close properly. Outside, two wooden gates needed carpentry work and refitted to work properly. Repaired and reinforced several kitchen drawers, to open and close properly.

We gave him a down payment for materials and when we tallied up upon completion of the job, he told us that the materials were less costly than originally thought and he deducted the difference from the bill. An honest guy. We would definitely use him again.
