The wood trim on a second story window was showing signs of rot. I found Lacey Home Repairs through a recommendation on my HOA's community forum. From the moment I spoke to Steve on the phone, I knew that I did not need to contact anyone else. Steve is polite, honest, and professional. He first visited the house to look at the window, take measurements, discuss the job, and make recommendations. Throughout the visit, Steve continued to be professional and straight forward about everything. Steve called with a quote and final recommendations within 24 hours of his visit. We scheduled for him to come and complete the repairs within a week of his first visit. Steve finished the job under budget and well within the allotted time. The jobsite was left spotless and the window looks fantastic!

I recently broke my leg and was put in a boot and Steve immediately offered to come to my house to install grab bars to make several portions of my house safe for me to navigate. Steve is great! Professional, friendly, punctual, quality work and a written time and materials cost estimate that is accurate. Steve arrived when he said. During my home tour, he offered home maintenance recommendations that were timely and helpful, without giving a sense that he might be trying to "pad" the bill. He offered a solution for each of our originally requested home repairs and repeated to scope of work to ensure we both agreed. If there was work outside his area of expertise, he typically had a recommended craftsman/company that could perform that relevant work. Once we agreed on the scope, he prepared a time and materials estimate offsite and called to discuss. He then asked for a deposit for the materials needed to perform the work and scheduled the start date. He worked nonstop until the work was complete. I will definitely use Mr Lacey's services again! Glad to find someone I trust that will do the work right for a fair wage. This is my guy, and I recommend he be yours too!

Fabulously! This is the second time I have used Steve Lacey for home repairs. I had recently given his name to a close friend who needed some major repairs done prior to selling her house. After getting some ridiculous estimates to address the smell under the sink, I thought to contact Steve to see if he might be able to take care of this. Steve responded quickly and came out to do the estimate. He is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, personable, and meticulous in his work with very reasonable rates. He was super responsive when I first reached out, came out to do a quote within 48 hours and I was able to schedule him to come out and do the work within a week. He arrived when promised, did a great job repairing both the door trim and re-installing the closet organizer and his pricing was incredibly reasonable.
