He comes before and checks what he needs to do and then comes back again to actually do the work. If I have a problem I will call him again in a heart beat. He also refers other people if the work is not in his domain.
Description of Work: We used him as a handyman ( fixing up front door, leaking pipes, replacing rotten wood, painting etc) couple of times for a number of small to mid size jobs.

Description of Work: Mr. Lacey arrived punctually at my home to give me a written estimate of my repairs. He told me his hourly rate. He provided a list of the materials required. He answered my questions about the damage, his proposal for repairs, and the costs. I sent up an appointment for Mr. Lacey to restore damage to my under-the -sink cabinet On the day of my appointment, Mr. Lacey arrived with all materials needed for the service work. He went to work promptly. R. Lacey had previously estimated that his work would take four hours to complete. His restoration work took four hours from start to finish as he predicted. The work that he completed in my home was the same quality as the original condition of the cabinet. The final cost of repairs was just slightly less than his estimate. Before departing, he cleaned up the area and removed materials left from his work.

They got right to work, were very courteous, efficient and cleaned up after themselves when the job was completed. They did a fantastic job, they finished sooner than estimated and came in under the original quoted price. They were both a pleasure to have around and we would certainly call them again should the need arise. Very proud to recommend this vendor for any work you might need. You will not be disappointed.
