Description of Work: They did our front outdoor window repair.

Description of Work: He was very prompt each time he came, including initial visit to define the work, to deliver materials, and each day of work. Work included replacing rotting wood outside the house, replacing columns on front porch, painting to match ARB requirements, fixing light sockets indoors, checking and replacing smoke detectors, removing ceiling fan that was hanging too low, and other small tasks indoors. He was upfront about what he doesn't do but had referrals for the work. He noticed things that needed doing, but was not pushy about doing the work. We trust him to do further work as the need arises.

Description of Work: Very professional, quick, good workmanship. I had two doors where the locks were not working correctly, he had the hardware adjusted and the doors done in great time.

Description of Work: Steve came out to repair a front door that was sticking and would not open. He was pleasant and explained everything as he proceeded. He tried a number of things to correct the door and wasted no time. The work was completed in two hours and works fine.

Description of Work: Mr. Lacey did a wonderful job on a bunch of repairs including: sliding doors, windows and dryer vent cleaning.

Description of Work: He replaced some rotten wood on a few window bays. The service was pricey but was good. He repaired the windows the right way which other contractors did not do. He did a good job.

Description of Work: Steve Lacey is the consummate professional. From setting up the estimating process through a wide range of miscellaneous tasks, I couldn't have asked for anything more. He explained each step to be taken and completed each job with way beyond my expectations. Some of these were little things, however, even if I had attempted to do them myself, they would not have been done early as well. Some of the repairs were more involved, and required a great deal of knowledge to creatively fix, as opposed to tear down and repair. I will, and have recommended him to anybody and everybody.

Description of Work: I called and left a voicemail saying that I was interested in getting an estimate on a re-screening of my porch and repair of some woodrot around the porch. Mr. Lacey called back that evening (at 9 PM) and after hearing about my project asked where I was located. When I told him where I lived, he stated that this being his busy season he could be choosey about what jobs he took and he didn't want to drive the 30-40 minutes to come do my project. He certainly could have asked when I needed the project done, if it could wait until it fit in his schedule, etc but instead came across quite cocky in his comments. I am glad that he is so busy now but his attitude on the phone would not make me want to call him this winter when his busy season is over.

Description of Work: Steve provided an hourly estimate. He came by the day after thanksgiving. I needed to get the ceiling repaired from a bathroom leak and bathroom regrouted. He worked non-stop for five hours. He's a very experienced handyman who could have his own do it yourself show. He did a fantastic job on the projects given and provided helpful tips for keeping the home overall in good shape. Definitely will use him again for any job I can't do myself.
