The Blue team was amazing. They worked extremely hard from the moment they walked in the door. I definitely recommend them and will have them back again.

I was pleased to have them come on short notice. They arrived on time, were friendly, got right to work and did a nice cleaning job. They mopped and cleaned floors, dusted all surfaces (there was a lot of dust), cleaned two bathrooms and the kitchen.

Everything looks and smells fantastic. Punctual and professional crew. We will use in a future and recommend this company. Very fast and efficient.

The Yellow Team did an outstanding job of cleaning a very dirty house prior to our move-in. They were punctual, worked efficiently, and very nice to have working in our home. They didn't miss any area, even using tooth brushes in corners. I definitely recommend them.

We purchased a deal through Angies List for 4 hours and were able to schedule for later that week. Four nice woman showed up, so basically four people cleaned for one hour each, equaling 4 work hours. One of them was the captain/lead and did most of the talking and went over what was to be cleaned. When one person ran out of cleaning, they would move onto another job, even did more than we thought they could. The Maids did a thorough job (were picky about a few things since family member has allergies/asthma) and would absolutely hire again.

I hired The Maids as a gift to my daughter and her husband. They had been sick and have an eleven month old baby. Over all she was happy with the service and pleased with detailed work. There were only a few problems. One, they said they called her to meet at the home. She said she never received such a call and a bit of an argument ensued between herself and the maid. Two, they neglected to clean the shower/bath in the second bathroom. They were great about the arranging between myself (living in Germany) and my daughter in Florida.

We had to be away for 12 - 14 days while adopting our newborn child. We wanted our home cleaned, deep cleaned before our arrival home. I knew from my first conversation with Rebeca they were the ones for this clean. Our home was spotless upon our return home. There was attention to every detail and nothing was left untouched. We had left our house sitter in charge while we were away and to coordinate with Rebeca. Rebeca was patient and kind enough to ensure she had all the contact information to reach out to our house sitter in reference to times, details, etc. We have utilized other cleaning companies in the past and have always found something left undone or mostly our laminate flooring always having a film on it. We were told by numerous companies "we don't or can't clean your floors the way you want them to be cleaned". The Green Team from The Maids left our floors shining and spotless. We set it up with Rebeca to have a biweekly clean. On January 2, 2015 The Blue team of 5 arrived different from the first team. The Team Leader Anna asked for a quick tour and they began work immediately and again we had an amazing finish to our home in two hours. The kitchen and bath areas have a designated cleaner "specialist" to clean those areas. I believe they truly want you to be happy with the finished product. Again, our laminate floors were spotless and no film to be seen. We are very pleased with all aspects of this cleaning service. I wanted our home to be cleaned and treated the way I clean it and as if it were their home. This is the kind of service we are receiving from this company. They have actually exceeded my expectations. I commend them on their communication, professionalism and friendliness. They showed up on time, four people and went right to work... Worked for two and a half hours. I was amazed at how clean everything was.... Asked them to use special cleaner on wood floors and they had no problem with that... Very good aim to please. I have already recommended them to my son...

They were pleasant and quick to respond to my call and set up an appointment immediately. After waiting for a half hour past when they were supposed to show up, I called. They said they had car trouble or got lost or something (don't remember), and arrived a half hour later. The team was 3 ladies. The kitchen was cleaned pretty thoroughly, cabinet doors, floor, appliances, etc. The lady doing the vacuuming kept hitting furniture and doors. I approached her once and said told her to be careful. It didn't seem to make an impression. The one dusting and doing the bathrooms did it sporadically and I had to keep pointing out things she missed. They had told me they would clean the windows and blinds on the inside, but said they were done before those were accomplished. I mentioned them, and they did a very quick and not very good job. When they left, the mirrors were smeared, and as I looked around, I realized they had done about half the job they should have. I have my house in Tennessee cleaned on a regular basis, and compared to what I usually find, the Maids of Orlando were not cheap, didn't have any respect for my things, and did not do a good job. I would not use them again.

The gal answering the phone and scheduling services was so great! (I'm sorry I've forgotten her name!) I needed a quick service to get my rental property cleaned between tenants and she was very helpful! She helped me understand my service options and she was very cooperative when I had to change the dates and times of the cleanings due to utilities being off). She stayed in close contact with me several times a day until we were able to work out a time for the service. So great to speak to a nice and understanding person! The cleaning crew was great and very professional. They worked very h****** the time they were there and did a sufficient job for the money!

I am very pleased with The Maids. From speaking with Rebecca, to meeting the 'Green' team and then coming home to a very clean house. I called on a Tuesday and after a few questions Rebecca cheerfully gave me a quote over the phone. The was a plus in and of itself. I'd rather do that than have someone come out, give me an onsite quote and then schedule a cleaning at a later time. She said that she had availability on Friday. That was fine, I didn't want to go through the weekend without the house being cleaned (Just to note, I'd called some other companies that day and they couldn't schedule me until the following week). I was ok with the price that she gave me which would include the Angie's List member discount (if the cleaning took longer than 2 hours). To my surprise, I received a call on Thursday from The Maids saying that they had a cancellation and could squeeze me in that day. I was thrilled. Since I live close to my job, it was easy for me to meet them at the house. When I arrived, the team was there. The leader Juana was really nice and I gave her a walkthrough of the house. The other 3 ladies began working right away. I left the payments and went back to work. When I came home from work in the evening, the house looked really nice. It only cost $255 since the work lasted longer than 2 hours and I was thrilled. I've never considered routine monthly service, but I think I will with this company. Thanks 'The Maids'!

They actually clean my house very well. They clean everything. Even the things I didn't request for cleaning; they cleaned and if they found out dirty; they're clean it. I tried several other companies this is the best that I could find.

I chose Maids of Orlando because 1) they're rated very highly on Angie's List and 2) their customer service is impeccable. Rebecca got me right away because she was so genuinely pleasant and courteous. I told them going in that we needed more of a construction clean than a general house cleaning because there was a lot of dust from some construction work we'd done. My house is 1800-1900 sq. ft., and after looking up our house online and hearing about its current state, Rebecca said it would take 1.5 to 2 hours to clean the whole thing; if they needed longer, they would call close to the 2 hour mark to let us know what they still had to do and make a call on if they should continue working. A team of four women came on the agreed upon day. They were punctual and courteous. When the team leader took a look around, she said it would take a good 2 hours to clean, but that was okay since it was still within the previously mentioned time frame. Just before the 2 hour mark, I got a call from Rebecca saying they still needed another 30 minutes to finish everything. Maids of Orlando isn't the cheapest cleaning service, so I was hesitant to have them keep going. I asked what they still needed to do, and she had to call the team leader to find out, then call me back to let me know. They had to wipe down the closet shelves (we have the white wire-looking shelves and asked for them to be cleaned), mop the house once more, clean the kitchen, and clean the porch. To me, that's rather a lot to still have unfinished after the initial amount of time had passed. To save on costs, I told them to forget about the porch and the closet shelves and just clean the kitchen and mop. If they only needed 30 minutes to do it all, I was hoping they could get that much done in 15. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Forty minutes later, the team leader called me to say that everything had been done except the porch. They had cleaned the closet shelves even though I'd told them not to. She said we were only going to be billed for an extra 30 minutes; she was still at the house doing a sweep to make sure everything was okay, but this didn't count towards the cleaning time we were paying for. I still don't know if Rebecca just didn't pass on to them that they shouldn't clean the closet shelves or what, but I let it go. I was a little miffed that despite taking the full extra 30 minutes not everything was finished, but I let that go too. While yes, it's their job and they should be able to estimate these things well, no one's perfect and our house was messy from the construction. It was bound to take a while to get through. I left to go see the house almost immediately after they finished. I can't praise the "attention to detail" a lot of other people talk about in their reviews. Maybe I expect too much from house cleaners, but if I'm paying someone to clean my house, I expect them to do a better job than I could. I didn't feel that way with Maids of Orlando. They did a good job however. The house was much cleaner than how we'd left it. There was still a very thin layer of dust everywhere, but with construction, you have to clean over it multiple times before all the construction dust is really gone. The layer wasn't visible - the house looked clean - but if you walked around barefoot there would be a thin layer on your feet - that kind of thing. I personally thought that when they said they did construction cleaning, they would clean it multiple times to make sure all of that was gone, and I suppose it's my fault for 1) assuming that and 2) not realizing that if they thought they could get everything done in 2 hours, we had different expectations. There were still bits of dirt in the corners and up against the walls. The fixtures weren't cleaned. They missed one of the closet shelves that they cleaned even when I told them not to do any. There was even still a thick layer of dust and dirt on top of the alarm system on the wall where the construction dust had settled. That said, the carpets were well vacuumed. The closet doors were wiped down. Most of the paint that had been in our sinks was removed (and there was a lot). A lot of the paint that had fallen on the tile was removed as well. They weren't impressively detail-oriented, but they did a good job overall. The one issue I ran into was in the master closet. There's tile in there, and when I put my hand on the floor, it came up white still. I thought they'd just missed the area; the team leader said it was more likely that the dust flew into the area while they were initially cleaning, then resettled after they were done. Either way, two of the women came back to redo that area on the same day (I was their first appointment that morning and went to check it out straight after they were done, so there was time enough to arrange for this). My advice to anyone about to use them is to add more time to whatever they tell you it's going to take. Of course they want to make the sale so it's natural to low ball an estimate a bit - and it's my mistake for believing that estimate. As general house cleaners, they're great. For construction, they can scrub off a lot of difficult areas; they're not a bad choice for construction cleaning, but it won't be perfect. Their customer service is incredible. Rebecca was always a pleasure to speak with and we didn't have any issues with getting the women to return to clean the master closet. I'm not blown away by the experience, but they did a good job overall.

I had never utilized this company before. I was incredibly impressed with the communication before the appointment, the professionalism of the 4-person crew that arrived at my home, and most importantly -- the final product. The attention to detail is amazing. They covered the entire house and made it look better than it has in years. They were courteous and very respectful of my home and its belongings. I would recommend them to anyone and I plan to utilize The Maids (and particularly the 4-person crew that covered my home) on a regular basis. It was well-worth the money spent. From the person who took my order over the phone (Rebeca) to the Team Leader of the cleaning crew (Anna), The Maids team is a great group. They are great with communication, and of course their attention to detail with the house cleaning. Because of this experience, I hired The Maids to do regular cleanings of my home.

Called and spoke with Rebecca who was very pleasant over the phone. Explained our situation with our regular service as they were unable to keep their appointment time....Rebecca was able to accommodate me the same date later in the afternoon on a Friday. 4 girls showed up led by Mariebell (Red Team). They went to work immediately and did a wonderful job in all areas and deep clean was very thorough ...down to the tracks of the windows and doors, inside kitchen cabinets, scrubbed bathrooms, oven, fridge (took out all shelves not just surface wiping) I will definitely use again and possibly start an regular service. Price was $140 per hour and they were in and out in 2 hours. 1850 sqft 4bed/2bath

I was so happy for the attention to detail. I was willing to give them more time if they needed. They worked beyond my expectations. I have been sick for some time and was unable to do any house work myself. I just worked quietly on my online business, while the maids cleaned. I especially love the way they worked so quietly. I have been in so much pain, I would've been able to handle any excessive talking. They concentrated on their work and I was really satisfied. After they were finished, I continued working without any additional stress. Thank you the Maids. See you soon.

A team of five uniformed Maids arrived promptly and after a brief review of my home, they set to work and did not stop until my house was immaculate. Mariebell, the Yellow Team leader, checked in with me periodically to be sure all was being done to my liking. I have used other cleaning services here and in other locations, but this group outdid them all. I look forward to having them here every two weeks.

we bought a home that had been sitting vacant for a long time and the previous owners did not seem to be great house keepers. The home was very dirty and had that cooped up musty smell. The maids, a crew of 5 arrived with all their gear and ready to attack the job at hand. The team leader asked us in detail what we were looking to have done. Her priority was making sure that nothing was going to be overlooked They were very pleasant and very professional. They all worked very hard and always had a smile on their faces. When we arrived at the house 2 1/2 house later they were still diligently working on cleaning the details that are often and easily overlooked. The job was not an easy one in fact it was daunting and intimidating but they handled it wonderfully, I never thought that house could look and smell so good. They surpassed and exceeded any and all expectations that I had. GREAT JOB MAIDS WE THANK YOU!!!!

We used them one time and we are taking care of it ourselves now. They were fine. They were thorough.

I bought a short sale house that was vacant for many months and when the prior owner lived here they were awfully disgustingly dirty and the Maids cleaned everything. I mean everything including the inside and outside of all drawers and cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms. (cleaned inside cabinets and drawers and also the outside surface). Plus all the floors. Plus the inside of the windows. EXCELLENT JOB. Better than I expected.

As contracted, the Maids cleaned four bedrooms, three baths, kitchen, breakfast nook, office, living room, dining room, library, family room, and bed/sitting room combo. I'm quite persnickety when it comes to house cleaning. I have been using this service for several months now, and they have never failed me yet. I actually have spent time trying to find something to complain about, to no avail. I've used many services over the years, but none comes close to the level of cleaning and professionalism of this company. Everything is spotless every time - tops of paintings, lamps,baseboards and ceilings, fans, carpets wood floors, tile, you name it. They clean the smudges on doors and windows caused by my dog's nose. My bathrooms and kitchen are always incredible. And they are fast, professional, and pleasant. I have Team Blue - Anna, Brenda, Marina, and Juana - and they are fabulous. They cost a bit more than other services, but worth every penny. I've had mixed experiences with other services, but nobody has ever cleaned as well as the Maids. They call ahead the day before a scheduled clean to let me know just when they will be coming. If there is any delay I get a call. This is one top notch service.

The team arrived on time and worked non stop the whole time. They did take a bit longer than originally planned, but the team lead kept me up to date on what they were doing and how much it cost. I'm extremely happy with their work. My bathrooms looked great. It may seem a bit pricey for the first clean, but it was worth it. I've now booked monthly cleanings.

I called a few days before and they were able to squeeze me in the next week on the day I requested. I specifically asked for an afternoon appointment, and expected the time frame to fluctuate a little based on how the cleans earlier in the day went. I received a call from the office a couple hours before my scheduled time frame to let me know the team was running about an hour behind, and a second call from the team lead letting me know they were on their way and about a half hour away from my home and on their way. I realize in a "by the minute" business that things happen, and was fine with getting pushed back a little. When they arrived they wasted no time getting started. I showed the team lead the 2 bathrooms that were the focus and the third that was not as important (to be cleaned if there was any time left in my hour that I requested. The girls immediately got to work pre-treating, dusting and even cleaning the bathroom doors and frames! I was super impressed by their work ethic (by the end they looked exhausted, and you could tell they spent the entire time working hard and not slacking around to extend the time and get a couple extra bucks in). When my hour was nearly up the team lead told me they were almost finished with the 2 bathrooms and asked if I wanted to go over a few minutes to allow them to do a cleaning in the third bathroom, which I said was just fine. They ended up only going over by 5 minutes, so I was super pleased. I was VERY impressed with the level of cleanliness that was achieved in the bathrooms, there is nothing like a truly clean bathroom. I am interested in hiring The Maids as a monthly cleaning service to help me keep up with the cleaning.

I had the pleasure of being the first customer of this service when it was started in Orlando several years ago. Under the prior ownership, it was fantastic and I recommended it to everyone who crossed my path. As a business executive myself, I understand not only the value of good service but also of loyal customers who advocate for a business. I have several friends and family members who have become Maids customers in Upstate NY, Maine, and in other parts of Florida based solely on my recommendations. Unfortunately, the original owner sold it two years ago to individuals who feel no dedication to their clients nor care about losing customers. I've never had a problem until Lynn and her son Alex took over and since then, it's been one thing after another. Today, I asked that they vaccum my office and was told it would be an additional charge. Really? My house was priced out years ago for 7 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Since I have dogs, they are always kept in one room, out of the way, when the ladies come. Therefore, I've paid for 7 rooms but only had 6 cleaned. Today, my dogs aren't here and finally, I could get my whole home done and I'm told by the owner it would be an extra charge. How about a refund for 8 years of not getting every room cleaned? The lack of professionalism and as another reviewer put it, the "bait and switch" tactics of the owners, makes today my last time using The Maids. Perhaps Alex and Lynn would like to check out how many other maid services exisit in Orlando? Bottom line.... I suggest you move past The Maids of Orlando and onto one of them.
