Went good, very nice guy. Had a problem with ac a few months later and called them. The company was very responsive and got someone out that day. Would use again.

We took advantage of one of Angie's List special deals without really knowing this company other than from that. The price felt fair for a maintenance/tune up for our air conditioner. The email and phone communication from the office was good, but they specifically said the technician would call the day before with a more precise time rather than a 2 hour window. When the technician called, he refused to give a more precise time, and showed up 15 minutes before the "end" of our window. Once at the house, the technician looked at our system which was in good order, but informed us that the coils needed to be cleaned. We presumed that was a normal part of the maintenance contract, but the technician said no, it was too difficult to do--although he told my husband to do it himself. We were disappointed and did not feel this was money well spent.

They provided an excellent service, and were timely and clean.

Excellent. They changed my appt twice. Once to attend to urgent AC repairs and 2nd time the technician got sick, both understandable. I had taken 1/2 day off to be home for that and I had tenants moving. The lady on the phone is a problem solver. She arranged me a special appt, on Sat. They charge $30/vent. Prompt, professional, and they know their stuff. Thank you

Technician came right on time, answered all my questions and serviced the AC system. I then called them for duct cleaning.

AC Guys were fantastic. I took advantage of a coupon for a service check on the AC on a house I just bought. I knew it was old and on it''s last legs and thought I would be preemptive as I didn't want to be stuck with no AC in Florida in the summer. They called right back about an appointment and came within that week. They quickly discovered the coils were rusted & frozen , leaking and wasn't going to cool much longer. They came out the next day and replaced the entire unit, new lines and also sanitized my duct work.They left the place spotless. Everything is now up to code, I have 2 years maintenance , 10 year all parts warranty and I'm as cool as a cucumber!! Very happy with this company and would recommend them to everyone !

He gave me a very fair price for a complete new inside and outside Rheem unit and put it in the same day. I am very happy with the service and the time in which it was done. Great company.

It was okay. I think it was a good deal since it included freon. That compressor did require freon. Runs cooler now.

The two technicians came in at the scheduled time. They reviewed with us all the details of the service to be performed and provided different alternatives. They had a very pleasant attitude and demeanor. Started the work. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very considerate of our dog and child, making sure that as they moved their equipment around they were not disturbed. When finishing, they explained the whole process on what they did and provided us with other services that they provided, but not trying to pressure us, just as added information.

David called, said he would show up in 15 mins., showed up "on time". Checked out our ac unit. Showed us what was wrong, along with suggestions. Showed us pictures of our problems, and also was very informative on potential future issues. Told us that the unit we had, was not big enough to handle our square footage. We took his advice and decided to replace the unit. He was great! He scheduled an install right away, the same day. Said install would take 5 hrs. Was very informative and professional, went through the whole process with us. The installers showed up also "on time", about 1 1/2 hrs later. They started right in. Replaced both units, inside and outside, and new thermostat. They also were very professional, and quick. Double checked to make sure units They finished ahead of schedule by 1 hr. They cleaned up after themselves , and explained the paperwork and what was covered with our service. We ended up getting a smaller more efficient unit, than what we had.

The guy was nice and he recommended that we replace our 5 ton a/c. Granted the unit is 13 years old I was hesitant to do so without a second quote. Remembered I had a warranty on the house and arranged service through them. They replaced the motor for $100 and the unit has been working fine. Not sure how long it will last, but it was a relief to spend $100 vs. $6K.

The tech was very professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend! Update 08/01: My A/C unit started to fail. After going through my home warranty company it turns out that the A/C's evaporator coil is defective to the point that it's no longer functional. The reason I'm complaining is that this can visually be confirmed simply by inspecting the unit, but the A/C Guys rep didn't write this on his report. So this maintenance led to no improvement what so ever of my A/C because the part was damaged, but I had to pay for the Home Warranty to confirm the damage. Requesting a full warranty given the extend of repairs and time wasted that I've incurred.

The technician was professional and advised me that all was running as it should be. He gave me a couple of great tips on dealing with mold and recommended that I continue to have my units serviced at least once a year.

This was the first time this has been done, so I have nothing upon which to base a comparison. All work was done professionally, quickly and no mess was left.

It went real good. In fact my co-unit was shot and they had to replace the outside heat pump and the air hammer in the garage. So it to a point that it went terrible so they replaced and they have done an excellent job on getting it right. I am very well satisfied with them. An air hammer is a unit in the garage where air is blown through. Both outside and inside unit was 15 years old.

What a great experience. Dan, the tech was great. VERY courteous and knowledgeable. He performed the AC check and even offered some tips on how I can better maintain my system. I can wholeheartedly recommend and will for my annual AC maintenance check-up.

System was full of mold, corroded coils and leaking water onto filter. A/C Guys replaced the system same day. Very professional and thorough.

It went great! It was noisy and messy, but well worth it. They did clean up after themselves.

We've got a total of 9 central AC systems between our home and our businesses-- so unfortunately we have a lot of experience with AC repair companies and installers. We called three AC repair companies this time when one of our home AC units died-- AC Guys, another from Angie's List, and one we hear advertising on the radio (AM540) constantly. AC Guys and the other Angie's List company were comparable in terms of replacement unit quality and price-- the company from the radio was much higher priced ($500+) for a weaker unit. To top it off, the techs that showed up to repair/quote replacement from the radio-advertised company were just like used car salesmen (one actually went to "talk to his manager" by phone to see if he could match the price of the other two providers). The radio-advertised company techs were so seedy, I'm actually scared that they know where we live… We picked the AC Guys because I liked the techs-- Ben and Justin were the crew that diagnosed our dead unit AND the crew that generated the replacement proposal AND the crew that would perform the install. We've actually worked with companies before who sent out sharp looking techs for diagnosing and selling AC units-- then at install time it appeared that the county sheriff's van pulled up and the jump-suited inmates poured out to perform the install… Ben and Justin from AC Guys were both very personable--though I worked mainly with Ben. Ben was VERY knowledgable and full of positive energy-- he was a pleasure to work with. In fact, during the installation we experienced a frighteningly heavy-duty thunderstorm. I was afraid that the guys would leave and attempt to come back at some future date to finish the install. Instead, Ben asked for an umbrella to keep working!! It was quickly apparent that the storm was too heavy for an umbrella-- so he helped Justin wrap up the inside work until the rain passed and he could work back outside. I never see that type of dedication from any service providers today... In summary, in choosing the AC Guys we got a GREAT new AC unit, at a verifiably GREAT price, and got to work with two GREAT techs. Thank you AC Guys!!!! UPDATE: It's now been just over two weeks since the install, and everything is working marvelously!! The AC Guys office personnel were great to work with in getting payment settled-- thanks again AC Guys!!!!!!
