Not well. They never called me back.

The crew broke its first appointment with us on the day of the appointment. They called to say that they had been on a trip over the weekend and did not get back on time. When they came they worked reasonably efficiently and neatly. They insisted that we fill in a printed Angie's List review form and give it to them before they left. Since they were supposed to return, we did. AFTER they left we discovered that the light timer, which was the most important item on the list, was installed incorrectly and won't work. The timer was installed in a way that the dial won't turn. Clearly, the crew did not test it. Had we known, we would not have given them high marks. We reached an agreement for them to work on the wall painting and one other item and agreed on a price. The crew did not show up on the appointed day and has not returned my calls. Since then, we have learned that in hanging the timer for the outdoor lights they also broke it, since it was working fine and now doesn't work. Again, no testing. Overall, they obviously are trying to pressure clients into high Angie's List ratings - which should concern Angie's List - and they are extremely unprofessional and non-responsive. I would counsel against using them - there must be better services.

Punctual. Professional. Responsive. No problems at all.

TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Difficult to schedule, doesn't show up on appointed day, doesn't know what they are doing, got my money and never performed a single duty. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! Save yourself the headache - find someone else.

The service was fantastic. Everything was done as requested and Pablo worked steadily during the three hours he was at my house. He even shared some suggestions so that I could fix a couple of things myself next time if I choose to. I was very happy with his work and am starting my new to-do list for his next visit!

Our experience started with the scheduled painter giving us short notice that he couldn't be there on the first scheduled day of the job due to a religious holiday. Things went downhill from there. It became a month-long ordeal that ended with the owner refunding us 25% of our money, and one room in need of being re-painted due to Red Brush screwing it up. The painters actually showed up 6 scheduled days, (that's 6 days of painting to paint 4 rooms). 5 of those days, the painter were in our house for at least 10 hours. They failed to show up for 3 other scheduled days. Excuses were religious holiday, "running behind", and painter being pulled over while driving on a suspended driver's license. The work in three of the rooms was acceptable, but the master is screwed up. As I said, the owner did the right thing and refunded 25% of our money with out any complaint. He was trying to make things right. But, over all, this is a completely amateuristic company. Very frustrating experience.

You really need a more intelligent survey machine! If no work was done, how can I tell you how it went? If nothing was done, then maybe the question "why" might apply, but the rest of it should disappear! I got sick. I couldn't start any work. It lasted much longer than I thought it would (all summer and part of the Fall), so no appointments were made, none kept.

I did not select this vendor to perform the job.

Purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List. I called them 3 times to schedule the appointment. Someone did call me for the estimate, and they showed up and said they would get back to me on the price. They finally emailed me the estimate. I emailed them back to go forward with the work. After excepting the deal I never heard back from them.

Really awesome service & great & helpful personalities. There people have experience and it shows, plus the concern for customers we all want.

I have used them before but this time I was not satisfied with their service as I can still see holes in the wall. They did not patch the spots and it looks like the bathroom needs repainted.

Larry showed up on time every day. His work was excellent and he made sure everything was kept clean. Quality of work is top notch.

They arrived on-time. We first reviewed every repair explaining what we wanted done. Before each repair was started, I was provided an explanation of how it was going to be repaired and after the repair was completed, I was shown the repair and demonstrated that it worked properly. All my questions were answered and all the repairs we completed to our satisfaction. Overall it was a great experience. It was so nice to have someone show up on time and perform in such a professional manner.

Larry was on time, preformed an excellent work. Cleaned up well. I am hiring him for another job. I am very satisfied with his work.

Mark was through professional in his work. He came to our house on time and even went above his 3 hour window to show his professionalism & dedication.

Bought 3 "deals" to have 3 rooms painted. Added cost of paint and extra for ceilings. Tony is a polite, professional who has a fine work ethic and wants to do all possible to satisfy customer

It started off well, Larry was very nice and polite. I did think that his time estimate for what he was going to do was a bit off, since we paid for 6 hours of work. But, he's the expert. Please note the professionalism is not related to Larry, but I had to give an F because in my book, it's not professional to completely dismiss a customer, especially one who has had bad work done! He arrived very early and on time on the day we agreed (Nov 15). By the time I left for work at 9:30, he has finished a lot of the work. I asked what he would do if he finished early and he said he would work a bit on the stucco we needed painting, but he would not come back out another time because it was too far for him to come. He was confident he would need all of the time to complete the work we discussed. Unfortunately, what we discovered upon completion of his work, was that he did not use a paint sprayer to do the doors, and there are horrible brush marks now on two new doors. Also the front door has areas that don't even look like they have been painted. And to make matters worse, he clearly did not use tape around the outside of the doors, and there are wiggly lines surrounding--on both doors! I have never seen anything like that before. We hired an expert to have it done right, for sloppy work I could have done it myself for free. He also got wall paint on the fascia trim and left it like that, and in other areas did not paint the trim all the way. It was very sloppy work and being that we just purchased two new doors, I'm not sure if we will now have to buy new doors or if they can be redone. The only thing done right was the touch up paint inside the doors. My husband called Red Brush and spoke to a Pablo about the poor workmanship. He said he would send someone out before Thanksgiving to look at and/or redo the work. There were messages left back and forth and the last communication was on November 20 where my husband said we would need 24 hour notice of when someone was coming, since the doors would have to be removed to have the work redone. He never heard back from anyone. My husband called back on Monday last week (November 26th) and left a message. Someone from the office called on November 27th (a girl, whose name we could not understand in her voicemail) and she said someone named Kevin would be contacting my husband to arrange coming out. We never heard from Kevin or anyone else at the office. It's bad enough the work wasn't done right, but clearly no one seems to care about this since the ball has been dropped several times. I am very unhappy about this and wish I never bought this deal. It has cost us time, materials and now it will cost more money to have the work done right. I would not recommend this company at all, it has turned into one giant headache. At this point it will not even compensate us to get our money back from this deal as it will cost us way more to fix everything. Badly done!

The process was handled by a contractor in my area. A lady named Dawn called me and talked to me about the job that I wanted done. We scheduled the appointment & I had to change the first one but we rescheduled and met at that time. One man painted the two bedrooms and he did a good job.

The jobs were performed quickly and well. I will certainly use this handyman service again. In fact, they are scheduled to come back for more repair jobs.

It was a pleasure, the only draw back was it would be better if they had a better grasp of english.

From the beginning it was not good. Took weeks to get back to me to set appointment. Once appointment was set and several phone calls on my end to confirm they ended up being a no show the day of the appointment and it has been 2 weeks and still no phone call from them. I guess they dont want the business so don't waste your time or cause yourself the aggrivation of trying to do business with Red Brush Services. Very disappointing.

Arrived on time and started work immediately. Was finished with installations within 2 hours. Was courteous and professional.

It started out on a sour note.... I purchased 2 coupons (3 hours for $99 each), with an illustration that looked like the job I had to have done. When he arrived he said he did not do large patch jobs (like the one in the photo) but only small nicks and nail holes. He agreed to do the job I needed at an additional cost. Once he got started, however, things went well. He put in extra hours to do it, and it looks fine. He actually wanted to do a better job, but it's an old condo with a lot of physical flaws, and I didn't want to spend more money than necessary to fix the slight bend in the wall or the irregularities in the ceiling. I'm disappointed that I had to pay for two sheets of plasterboard, only a small bit of each was used. Maybe a larger contracting firm could have prevented the waste. On the other hand. Tony was a good man to work with, he more than met our expectations and worked hard to make sure we were satisfied. I would certainly call him for other work.

I called to schedule the day after I purchased the "Big Deal" on September 26, 2012. and was told it would be 10/14/12 which was a Sunday, but I was okay with that as long as they did the job. Then, Tony called and said he had transportation problems and would start on Tuesday, 10'/16/12. So, okay...everybody has problems sometimes. No show on Tuesday. I called the office and Pablo told me that Tony quit without notice. Pablo said they were having lots of other problems with the phone system, yada yada and said he would call me back to reschedule. A day or so later (this time I wait patiently because I have become accustomed to it.) still no call - so I called Pablo again. That afternoon, Louis calls to schedule on Thursday, November 15 to arrive between 9 and 10 a.m. ) BIG SURPRISE! NO SHOW! I have waited until today (11/30/2012) to call Pablo thinking POSSIBLY someone would call me. I asked for my money back because I have certainly given them time to do the right thing and they failed miserably. I was told that they couldn't refund my $99. because Angie's List doesn't send them the money until they complete the work so....obviously.... I was told to contact Angie's List for a refund. PLEASE REFUND MY $99 so I can move on and find a reliable painter. I have had such excellent results with Angie's List before, but this was ridiculous. How do they have such a good rating?

They completed all of the work I asked them to do. I feel that they were very slow in completing the work.
