Description of Work: The representative came out and later sent me a quote for the work I was interested in having done. The total was $960 which was far more than I expected. Another contractor quoted recommended that I handle the repairs differently.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for 3 hours of Kitchen/Bathroom Caulking and Grout Restoration.

Description of Work: Called number listed and it was disconnected. Contacted Angie's list and was given another number to call. Called and was told that the person's painter quit and they would not be able to honor the deal. Contacted Angie's list advised we still wanted the services, they were not able to accommodate. No longer interested in the deal and would like a full refund. Thank you.

Description of Work: I tried calling this person and reached him, but could hardly understand him. He said he would contact me the following week but never did. I called several times and left messages but he has not responded back.

Description of Work: This was a Deal for a few hours of Drywall work. They came out, did the work. The job was OK.

Description of Work: No services were performed. This vendor has disappeared from the face of the planet. Have never heard from him nor does he return phone calls.

Description of Work: Called their Boca Raton office and was told that the coupon was for the office in Winter Springs (Central FL), but that office is closing. She said the Winter Springs office once had a crew in Miami, but they don't go that far south from Boca. She told me to request a refund on the coupon.

Description of Work: HAVING THE WORK PERFORMED DID NOT SOUND POSSIBLE FROM MY PHONE CALL, SONCE SHE SAID TO ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK. THANKS FOR ANY ASSISTANCE YOU CAN PROVIDE. DIDN'T RATE THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE BECAUSE DIDN'T HAVE ONE UNTIL TODAY WHEN THEY SAID THE OFFICE THAT DOES THE WORK IS CLOSING. I DIDN'T GET A CALL BACK BEFORE. SO IF I HAVE TO RATE IT I'LL CHOOSE A C WHICH YOU SHOULD DISMISS AS IT DOES NOT REFLECT THEIR WORK, BECAUSE THEY DID NONE

Description of Work: No start, no finish. No returned calls or emails, no job done...

Description of Work: They did not return my calls for a long time (days/weeks). I needed dry wall work done at a rental property last summer (August/September) and when I finally was able to reach them they wanted to send me someone who was primarily a painter who lived 2 counties away and could not fit me into his schedule. At least once we set a date for the work and later he told me that the company had re-routed him some where else. This went on for weeks, maybe months last summer. I had to get the work done in a timely manner, so I hired other companys to do the work. I spoke to the owner, Gent Kumi (Boca Raton)today and he was very nice, apologized and said to just get a refund since the work was no longer needed. He said that branch of his company (Orlando) had been seriously under-employed (they could not find workers to fullfil the big deal).

Description of Work: -no response to calls or e-mails. -reported to Angies List -Angie's list indicated they would try to find a replacement. That never happened so we are left with this option of asking for a refund. Recommendation: I noticed that many members started to report this same experience. Perhaps when Angie's List does a Big Deal and many members complain about no response a more proactive approach could be taken to remediate. From comments on the posting some people just accepted they are out the money. You have a team that calls for ratings. Maybe they could call everyone that did a big deal where it's obvious from postings the vendor is not performing.

Description of Work: Nothing ever happened. I called twice and never got a return call. Then I read the reviews and Angiesvlist warning that this vendor had not submitted payment for advertising and I lost all confidence.

Description of Work: They were late in arriving, nice guys; however, generalist and not specialist in anything. They did not solve most of the issues requested and when I called Angie’s List corporate headquarters to state that they were not acceptable, they informed me that someone would contact me and rectify the issues—they have not. Therefore, the rating of “F” and I contracted with someone else.

Description of Work: Not only did the painters not show up, they didn't even call to cancel. I spoke with Dawn, the painters' independently hired scheduler/ dispatcher just three days before the job was to be done.

Description of Work: This sounded like a great deal. However after repeated calls we were never able to get Red Brush to schedule a time to complete the work we wanted.

Description of Work: re-install a dryer booster fan and make a cover for the ceiling access.

Description of Work: They painted inside my bedroom, paint exterior, garage door, front door trim and moldings.
