The Lawn MD

LLoyd is fantastic. He first comes to carry out an inspection for your sprinklers, prepares a list for what needs to be done and that includes his recommendations for the job. He is so responsible that you do not need to be home, when he comes for the job to be done.He is a great guy.

This is the fourth time that Lloyd has made additions and re-routed lines for us. One occasion was a major re-routing for building work. Each time he has done a first-class job. His advice and recommendations have always been spot on. It is an absolute pleasure to have work performed by Lloyd; for his excellent work and pleasant personality. We have to undergo an annual county inspection of our irrigation system. One year we used a different company and failed spectacularly. Since then, and we hope in future, Lloyd has given the system a health check and we have passed first time (unlike many neighbors). Lloyd is much more than a Lawn MD. We rate him as Lawn Surgeon-General.

Lloyd was prompt and professional. He originally diagnosed my valve problem being electrical since I had bad wire connectors and replaced them. He spent the remainder of the hour looking for my missing valve. He narrowed down where in the yard it might be, but it was going to take some digging to find the exact spot, so I called off the search until I have a real problem with that zone. Unfortunately, the next time my spinkler ran it's program, the valve was still not working. Lloyd came within hours of my call and ended up changing out the valve all together.

A broken wire was found using specialized electronic diagnostic equipment. The wire was repaired. Lloyd spent time explaining my system. Advising me on how I can install a rain sensor for my system. He straightened one unit , unplugged another, and installed a flexible connector to prevent future damage to underground piping. He suggested I go to Home Depot to purchase a new nozzle for a sprinkler. This would be less expensive than for him to buy one and return to install it. Lawn MD was called because of their high rating in Angies List. I can see how they achieved their status with Angies. I would not hesitate to use them again, and I would recommend them to others.

Excellent! Lloyd arrived on time and took time to assess the situation. He demonstrated great credibility as I thought I needed a new spinkler in an area and he showed me that I didn't. He found my issues, and explained it very clearly. Work was done quickly and for a very reasonable price. Would definitiely use Lawn MD again in the future.

Technican was prompt, did the work quickly and efficiently. Kept me informed of everything he was doing and was very patient in explaining to me how the controls on the box worked and said to call him if I needed help. I was very pleased with his professionalism. A very good worker and representative of your company.

Initially, I was taking advantage of the sprinkler tune up, but we ended up doing far more work which was sorely needed. We have replaced heads, changed the layout, completely switched the main sprinkler system, and rewired all of the back zones. When the new system stopped working unexpectedly, the unit was cheerfully switched out for a working unit. We're happy with the service and the results. Highly recommended!

Lloyd did a great job tuning up my irrigation, and correcting any issues I had. But most important I was able to walk around with him while he worked and get a quick lesson which was key for my own future maintenance.

A good experience. They came on time and accomplished what I asked.

I came home at 5:35 and Lloyd was already working (we had a 5:30 appointment) on adjusting the sprinkler heads. I followed him around to see what issues we may have and that turned out to be good. Lloyd showed me some issues with the equipment. Nearly two hours later and several sprinkler heads replaced Lloyd was done. I knew the system had some issues and I knew going into the "tune up special" i would need to spend more money. Getting all the work done for only an additional $99 was a surprise. Lloyd was great, very efficient and very friendly. We have several flower pots and garden boxes on our lanai and Lloyd recommend a separate sprinkler system for each individual pot. We hired him immediately to come back and install it. He has since come back and installed that system; it is the coolest thing ever and very in-expensive. I would and have already, highly recommend Lloyd and The Lawn MD!

Lloyd exceeded our expectations. He was professional, punctual and knowledgeable. He made sure all heads were coming up as designed; straightening, digging, replacing and capping off as needed. He found an area under our pavers that had been leaking for awhile, dug up the pavers and capped off the leak. After reprogramming the box to run through the cycles more efficiently, he gave advice to lower our hedges to increase irrigation coverage to the lawn. We had purchased the Spring Tune-Up for $42. But after a thorough inspection, Lloyd's estimate of an additional time, parts and labor were both accurate and fair. We plan to use his services on an annual basis.

Very well, my main concern was finding my valvues and seeing if I could adjust my irrigation for changes to my landscape.

The owner Lloyd came as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable in his field and gave me a lot of good tips. He checked and serviced my whole irrigation system and gave advice. He had to change out 2 of my rotor heads because they were leaking. Total cost was $30 ($15 a piece) which was fair in my opinion. He also adjusted the range and flow rate on my spray heads and rotors. Any bent over spray heads were also dug out and adjusted so they were straight. Overall he told me my system was pretty good so it only needed slight adjustments. Price was fair and the education provided was excellent. I bought the coupon for only $42 for a sprinkler tune up so I spent a total of $72. Great and Professional Service. I will get my annual tune up with this guy from now on. Thanks! Highly Recommend!

Well worth the money. Llyod arrived on time and completed a full review and tune up of the system in an hour. He made recommendations on how to solve certain issues.

It went well. There wasn't all that much to do with my systems, seemed like everything was in pretty good condition (better than I thought.) But at the special price, it was worth having someone look at the system. Lloyd is very nice and professional, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him for more involved work on the irrigation system.

Overall it went well. He gave me some tips and advice.

Lloyd came exactly when he said he would arrive. I had requested the irrigation tune up, replacement of several heads and installation of a couple of new ones. We walked around the house and Lloyd explained what he would be doing and also made some recommendations on improvements. He never pressures you into buying additional services just has a conversation on improvements. He works extremely fast and performs quality work. He even showed us how we could hide some heads that were located in shrub areas and now you can't see them. Great suggestion. The price that he charges for the amount of work he does is great. I would recommend Lloyd to anyone needing to have their irrigation working properly for a reasonable price.

I took advantage of an Angie's big deal for sprinkler tune up. ($42) Lloyd was on time, if not a little early. He inspected the sprinkler heads and found one broken. That wasn't covered under the big deal, but explained that and I was fine with his costs. There was another head that was behind a hedge. He added an extension to get above the hedge which was great catch. The previous owner of my house had a bit of a kludge in the front flower bed. It look uuuuuugly. Lloyd fixed it for me and it looks a lot better. Finally, he discovered my rain sensor wasn't wired up. I had not noticed that, and the lawn guys that put my sod in and checked the sprinklers last year didn't either. He wired it in for me. He finished the whole job in about an hour. He charged me for the extra parts ($24) and my sprinkler system is running much better. Lloyd was friendly and answered a few questions I had. I would definetly use Lawn MD for any future irrigation needs I may have.

He adjusted all my water circulation.

Lloyd came right on time and listened to my explanation of the problem (Bad coverage in one zone, A few misaligned sprinkler heads in other places - one was at a 45 degree angle). He got to work right away. I walked around with him a he explained everything he saw and was doing. Adjusted all the sprinklers where the coverage was bad, telling me what needed to be done. Dug out and replaced the sprinklers that were damaged. Gave good advice for a few things I can do myself, how long to water in each zone, etc.. All in all, a great experience. Would not hesitate to call the Lawn MD again when I need help.

Lloyd, the Lawn MD, arrived as scheduled, did the work requested and answered some questions I had about the yard in general. I've used the Lawn MD on previous occasions and its always a great experience. I just gave his number to my neighbor who is also having sprinkler issues and would highly recommend him to all!!
