It went well!

I originally called them to correct what I thought was an improperly installed waste flange (where the toilet meets the floor). While the toilet was installed, but it rocked front to back if you sat on it -- not a good experience. I called A to Z and immediately got a real human being. The customer service rep provided me with a time (that same day) when they would call for a *45 minute window*; if you have ever had cable installed or a new phone put in, you know that a 45 minute window doesn't exist -- it's always 4 hours. As it happened, I wasn't around the phone when they called the first time and slow to pick up the voicemail. They ended up calling twice, about an hour a part to try and schedule the technician. When I finally called them back, they were still able to send the tech over even though it was already after 4 p.m. When the technician (Sammy) arrived, he immediately got to work investigating the installation and provided me with a clear estimate of the work effort (time) and how much it would cost. It turned out the flange was fine, but the waste pipe was crooked (causing the flange to be higher in the front than back and causing the unstable toilet). He said that he could still install the toilet properly, ensuring that it was stable, without having to break up my marble floor (thank you). The technican was done in 20 minutes and the quality of the work was top notch; the work area looked like it did before he arrived. In addition, he sayed past six to get the job done (without complaint or fanfare). Unlike other reports, we did get the Angie's List discount (10% at the time) and they did credit us the $89 initial service fee because we had the work done. The overall cost of the job was more than I thought it should be, but you get what you pay for; we received excellent service and quality workmanship -- they even warrant their work for one year. I would hire them again.

There total price was a few pennies higher then I thought it would be, but worth every cent. I have years of experience with plumbers and this is the finest experience I have had with any plumber that I have dealt with. There attention to detail is incomparable there plumber Rich was polite and answered all of questions and also wore booties while in my home and did not step on anything with dirty shoes. I was hoping to be impressed, but this surpassed any of my expectations as a whole. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality.

The agreement includes an annual check of the house. When they called to schedule the appointment, I actually had a couple of sue I wanted them to take a look at. My garbage disposal needed to be replaced and I needed to have the faucets changed out in a bathroom. The estimated cost to replace the faucet was $500. When he looked at the garbage disposal, the quote was $560. I declined this offer as well. He went outside to then phone his office. When he came back, he continued to try to sell me the over priced garbage disposal. All I wanted at that time was the free inspection I was due. He went outside again to phone his office. He came back with a written proposal, which we were told we had to sign. We weren't getting any work done, so I didn't understand the necessity of the proposal. Th proposal included the cost of the garbage disposal, which I told them I did not want to do. It was almost to the point of throwing him out of the house. I have received 3 phone calls from the company since, which I don't care to listen to. I plan to cancel my service agreement with them.

A & Z reinstalled the line, including a primary connection to the house. Once we agreed what to do, they started the job immediately and it was finished in 5 hours. The inconvenience was absolutely minimal, and the way they dug the ditch saved the portion of the lawn they had to dig through. They did a wonderful job!

They are very nice, clean, and responsible. A good plumber is always expensive, but they are worth the cost! We recommended them to our neighbors.

They were very prompt and came on time. They explained what they were doing and completed the work on time. They also gave suggestions as what I should do to prevent that problem in the future. Their pricing was reasonable as well. I was satisfied with their service.

He had me try to clog the drains and he tried to snake everything out. He checked that everything was flushing okay and that there was no settling in the pipes. He determined that everything was repaired with the snaking. I was very satisfied with the service that A To Z State Wide Plumbing provided me with. They offered a members service which we signed up for and they started applying it immediately. The gentleman who came out told me that I was getting an excellent price for all of the service. He was very professional while he was out at my home and I was impressed with them.

They are very friendly, accommodating when you initially call. They're very responsive, it was easy to set up an appointment and they came out promptly. I was impressed when he arrived because he put down a mat at the door and put on slippers to wear around the house because it was raining. He also put down a drop cloth where he was working to keep everything nice and clean. He appeared to do a good job in replacing my faucet and replacing the angle stops. I would use them again and I did join the diamond club (a maintenance club which offers discounts on other jobs). My only disappointment was that he quoted me a price for the job over the phone and when he came out the dual angle stop was a little more complicated than he expected so it cost about $52 more, however he did give a 10% Angie's List discount and he installed my water filters at no charge. I would use them again because the technician was competent and they are a reputable company.

I am very satisfied with the timeliness of response and the quality of the work. Rich was very professional and patiently explained the problem and my options. He understood my concerns and was able to resolve the issue.

Very easy to make an appointment. Arrived on time.Three calls updating when he would arrive. The plumber was friendly, gave a quote and very professional. I thought the price was a lttle high for the amount of labor involved. I would definitely use them again

I have used them for years. They are reliable, prompt,efficient, courteous, and I will continue to use them.

Scheduling was quick and convenient. Plumber arrived on time and carefully inspected the water heater, and recommended that it be replaced (I haven't done that yet). The shower fixtures were broken to the stem and he needed to pick up parts to replace them. His first try at replacing the fixtures didn't work well and I had to insist that he try again. After 6 hours in total, he was able to finish the job and it has held up very well. I still feel "ripped off" by this company because of the cost. They told me on the phone that there would be an $89 "inspection fee" that could be applied to repairs---basically, you pay for the estimate and that amount goes towards any work you have them do. Yet when it came to the final bill, they tried to get me to pay $230 for the repairs PLUS $89 for the estimate. I'd never go with a company that essentially charges me $100 for an estimate. Also, they declined to apply their special coupon for Angie's List customers (at the time it was a 10% discount). I figure that a good plumber could have done the same work for about half this cost, but I was stuck with the $89 estimate.

They provided a written estimate. The person was polite and professional. Due to the estimated cost, we are uncertain we will go forward since it is not an ongoing problem.

They were here within 2 hrs. I was shocked they could handle the job so quickly. Floyd York was the Master Plumber. He had a small carpet to wipe his feet on. He left it outside my door & put on cloth covers for his shoes to protect our floors. Wish all contractors did that!! He removed my old faucet & soap dispenser & then installed new faucet & soap dispenser that I purchased elsewhere. He cleaned up what little mess he left & also removed packaging of new faucet so I didn't have to discard it. Floyd was very clean, friendly & inquired if there was anything else he could assist me with. I was concerned after having our house painted recently that our main water shut-off valve may be hard to turn off or on due to paint. He checked it for me so we would not have a surprise the next time we try to turn it off. I was given a receipt that listed everything I requested (which showed the 10% discount by mentioning I found them on Angie's List) and a folder that had info regarding plumbing tips, plumbing info & also included magnet with the Co.'s name which has kitchen measurement's. Plus there was a coloring book & a candy sucker. The installation is warrantied for 1 year against leaks on the connections to the water pipes. I will certainly contact them again when I need any addition plumbing work done. A+++

The plumber arrived and assessed the problem before explaining to me what needed to be done, and giving me a price quote. He quickly went to work clearing the clogged pipe, and it took him 15 or 20 minutes. When he finished, he informed me that if the problem recurred within a year, his company would come out and do the work for free.

They were here when they said they would be and they were very professional.

They were polite and on time, however, they sent me a bill for 650 dollars, which I was upset about. The head plumber called and came over to see what he could do to make it right. We compromised and I paid half.

A to Z had to send two different types of plumbers due to the nature of the problem. The first was a Pluming Technician and the other was a Sewage/Drainage Tech. The first to arrive was the Plumbing Tech and man did he get there fast. I was told an original response time of about 2-3 hours. He was there in one hour! Super polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Explained to me each step of what he was doing and why. In addition, he quickly fixed a few other leaking outside hose valves and gave me some good maintenance advice on how to flush the hot water heater. He installed a new valve and was quickly on his way. The 2nd tech took much longer to arrive (about 3 hours from original service call) to clear the toilet and bath tub. He suggested in removing the toilet to make sure the S bend was clear, but it would cost an additional $70 and was given the go-ahead. He quickly got to work and found the toilet S bend was clear and decided not to charge us for the additional labor he performed. His service was also excellent! They might be on the expensive side for basic repairs ($89 mobilization fee), but pay the extra and do it right the first time. You won't regret contacting A-Z for your plumbing issues.

I felt the charges were excessive even after the 10% discount. But the service was excellent. I signed up for the "Diamond Service" protection plan for future use.

It was a total pleasure dealing with Mr. York of A to Z Statewide Plumbing. He was neat in his work; he was efficient and came on time and completed the job early enough to allow the electrician to do the necessary electrical work to get the system up and running. The whole experience was a pleasure and well worth the expense. The cost was as estimated and we were given a 10% discount when we joined their Diamond Club Maintenance program, covering any eventual plumbing problems we may experience over the next twelve years, including yearly free inspections of all plumbing and 25% discounts on any future plumbing work performed. The professionalism of this company and its staff is very refreshing and appears to be very rare, considering some bad experiences I've had with other contractors in South Florida.

THE GUY THAT CAME WAS EXTREMELY POLITE AND WORE SLIPPERS OVER HIS SHOES TO KEEP MY CARPET CLEAN WHICH I APPRECIATED. HE WAS ALSO VERY PUNCTUAL AND DID THE JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
