A to Z Statewide Plumbing

I always buy Angie's big deals for any type of home inspection service. My house was built in 2010 and I want to avoid costly repairs or replacements as long as I can. This company was professional, prompt and thorough. Couldn't ask for more for my money!

A to Z is the excuses you will get on why they haven't completed the job. Even after managers come to the job to inspect and log the progress NOTHING seems to get done. If you have anything more than a clogged sink CALL SOMEONE ELSE !!!!!!! This is another Florida company like all the rest UNDERPERFORMANCE !!!!!!!!! Sorry Angies people, you've been duped here.

What impressed me most was the quickness of the response. The company has a call center and within an hour or so of my calling Luis showed up. Most plumbers, if they show up at all, will not do so until the next day.at the earliest, so this impressed me. Plumbers i have used in the past typically charge around $100 for this job and Luis quoted me around $400, so that was the only unpleasant part. But they do warranty the work for 1 year and they have better equipment and more thorough procedures than most, so I went for it. The drain was severely backed up with stuff best left to the imagination. Luis went at it from two different cleanouts with special tips on the snake and got everything running clear. I'm told they will provide the same service at the same price any time day or night, and as this job is usually somewhat of an emergency this is good to know. I would definitely recommend them unless you are on a tight budget, in which case you can get it done cheaper though probably not as thoroughly and with no warranty.

It went well. The professionalism was great and the care with the house outstanding. Punctuality was an issue we had to postpone services for two days. Price is high. They charge 90 for a visit only. But services are good.

I had a clogged sewer line at 10:00 pm and needed to have it snaked out in an emergency, with a long snake, as I knew the clog was about 70-80 feet out. I called several plumbers and the first one that came did not have a snake long enough to clear the blockage. I called several other "24 hour" plumbers and they all found excuses not to come or put me off until I called AZ Statewide pluming. I reached "AJ" and he was polite and came immediately at about 2:00 am. He quoted a price that I think is high, but one competitor had quoted the same price for the job during regular business hours- so I guess it was a fair price. He was equipped with a long enough snake, snakes the drain twice to t he very end to clear the blockage - using 2 different sized cutters on the end, willing to do anything to clear the drain. He then offered me good advice, like contacting the city to be there if I have it video taped, as the block was on their side of the property and they would have to be involved in the repair. I later helped me to set up a video camera, but I cancelled on him twice as I had lower price offers from other plumbers. I regret cancelling, as I think he would have done a better, more thorough job.

It was excellent all around. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I sent a detailed message to AtoZ Plumbing on Thursday afternoon asking for an estimate on removal of bathtub/ toilet and installation of bathtub and toilet, including exact dimensions, styles and even samples of materials. On Friday, I received a reply from Kim Marzo advising that they charge $89 for someone to come and provide an estimate. I asked if they could at least provide an approximate estimate based upon the information I provided- answer was no. I then receive a call from Alfonso (Plumber for AtoZ Statewide Plumbing) advising that he will stop by on Saturday to provide an estimate. Alfonso did stop by on Saturday, but was late. After reviewing the job, he provided a "guesstimate" that it would cost $1,300 per bathroom to do the work (extremely high guesstimate compared to the other quotes received) but that he would bring by a final estimate on Sunday along with a book of samples of materials. He further said that he would have a friend provide an estimate for some tile work in the showers (that he didn't do this work). Sunday came and went- no contact. Phone call Monday morning from Alfonso claiming he lost my number the day before and hence could not call me... but he would email me an estimate by the end of the day. Its now 2 days later- I have no further information. Unless you feel like begging a company to take your money- I don't recommend contacting AtoZ. Bad experience.

We had a very pleasant experience dealing with Kimberly who answered the phone, gave us information, and we found her to be very professional and helpful. Although we ended up using another company to do the job we needed, we would definitely call this company again in the future if we had a plumbing need .

John from A-Z handled our issues in a very professional manner. He was polite, on time and very knowledgable. We highly recommend this company to our friends and associates.

Overall my experience with this company and employee was very good. Luis was very professional and got the job done in a ver timely manner.

Had to dig hole to expose leaking section of pipe leading into house and replace section. Took several hours. Repair was successful and water bill decreased well over 100.00 a month.

They were very prompt. They gave me two options to choose from. I chose to get a new toilet. They were very professional and personable. They came when they said they would. The work was beautiful, better than the local plumber. This was my first experience getting a plumber. I would pick them again. Ill be using them again this year.

It was excellent. They were prompt, uniformed, professional, they were prepared with the spare part based off my description. They provided excellent customer service by following the job step by step. I did think they were expensive.

This is where my issues begin. I was not only charged the $1140 for process three, but was charged an additional $80 for the chemical treatment that was supposed to be included in the $1140. I was also chanrged $175 for clearing a blockage that did not exist for the water backup with the washing machine. They also told me that I needed a new drain field for which I received a proposal for over $10,000. I called another Septic tank company from Angie's List to get a second proposal. When they came out to do their evaluation, they indicated that there was no problem with my drain field. So my big issue is with the integrity of A-Z Statewide Plumbing. They did pump out a septice tank. That service was good. Who knows? But I feel that I was taken advantage with pricing. They performed a service that was not necessary and I was overcharged for their service. I used them based on the "A" listing from Angie's List. Even the list has to be treated with suspician. After posting a negative response to the initial service, I was contacted by Donald. He came out with a worker. They dug up the septice tank to prove that it was not draining. He also brought ne a refund check of $175 for work that I was over charged. Don advised me that he would send out a team the following week to pump the septic tank out again and would only charge me $250. A week later a team of three people came to open the septic tank, pump it out and dig up the distribution/ drain field. They replace a faulty baffle and with high pressure water, cleaned out the drain field as best as they could. They indicated that I would still require a new drain field some time in the future. They did this as part of the $250 fee. I don't know whether their response can be attributed to their integrity or to the power of Angie's List. But the depth of their response and attitue towards me as a customer was impressive. They did promise to furnish me with an updated more realistic quote for a new drain field. That was over a month ago. I stil have not heard from them. I am still concerned about their business practice of workers working on commission and not providing a price until they come to the house. I believe that this can lead to workers taking advantage of a situation. Having said that, their response to me was impressive.

I called this company for an estimate before I bought the Deal. My house is 25 years old and I just wanted to get two wax rings and all of the shutoff valves in my house replaced (preventive maintenance). Patrick (A to Z) gave me a price that sounded just right considering time and materials, and then I told them I was going to go ahead and buy the Angie Deal ($99 for $299 worth of work). Patrick said go for it, get the discount. The story changed however once he arrived at my home. He wasted an hour of my time showing me this glossy card that showed ridiculous prices and conferring with his boss on the phone and finally told me he couldn't even come close to the original quote even without the wax rings! He also mentioned that their hourly rate is $175. Must've hired a bunch of out-of-work lawyers! :) Live and learn. Needless to say they did not get the job.

Service was excellent and done in a timely fashion.

The technician, Dean, arrived on time. I explained that the kitchen faucet had very little pressure and that I had purchased a new faucet to replace it. He checked the other faucets, to be sure that the low pressure was only an issue in the kitchen, which it was. He removed the old faucet and installed the new faucet. He calculated the bill for the faucet replacement to be $400, which included a mobilization fee. I was not aware of this fee ahead of time. From what I understand this is their fee for coming out and diagnosing the problem. Most companies will apply that fee towards the repair, when they provide the service, but apparently not this company. Things seemed to be fine with the faucet, although I was still unsettled about the cost, until the evening of February 2nd. I was washing dishes and water started pouring out of the cabinet on to my feet. I immediately called A to Z to get someone to come back and fix the problem. They took my number and had someone call me back. The gentleman that called me back explained that he could send someone over that night, but there would be an $89 charge. I was not willing to pay to have someone come out and fix something I just paid for a week prior. He was not willing to waive the fee, so I had to take time off work the next day to have someone come by to fix the problem, which turned out to be a clip that was not properly secured. My overall opinion is that the Big Deal was really no big deal. An hour and a half faucet replacement costing $400 is outrageous. Wanting to charge a customer $89 to come back and fix something that was not done properly in the first place, also outrageous.

They honored the appointment. The guy who came out was very thorough and very friendly. He took care of everything I needed and answered some other questions I had about different things. Plumbers are expensive, so I am okay with the price. I am not super happy about it but the service was very good. I would use them again in the future.

A-Z plumbing is my hero! Lewis and his team at A-Z did a great job at locating and cleaning out of a "very" difficult to find and "very" full septic tank. Efficient and professional. I will MOST definitely use them for ALL the plumbing needs I will have at my new home.Thanks to everyone at A-Z for excellent customer service.

They had an Angie's List coupon that I used.

When they came out, they could not find the leak. They did not charge me very much. They said that if I found where the leak was, they would use that money to go towards any future job. They were on time and reasonable. I was happy with their service.

Plumber pulled the tiolet and discovered that a fllange was never installed. Only a spacer was put in on top of pipe, this is a house that is 20 years old. The county plumbling inspector failed to do his/her job 20 yrs ago. The plumber installed a new flange and sealed . He also installed a new Kohler low flow tiolet. Because I had a discount Angie's List coupon the job was discounted by $299. This was a major repair, the coupon really helped. I rated the pricing as good rather than excellent because the tiolet price was very high. The cost of the actual service or labor was excellent.

This was an Angie's List "Big Deal." We had some plumbing issues and had an outside hose spigot leak that was back. Decided to take advantage of this deal. Alfonso showed up later Saturday afternoon after I called the company earlier that day. He was very nice and listened to everything we had to say. He went outside and looked at the leak and our water meter, which showed it moving fast. I brought him into the bathroom to listen to the pipes after you turn the sink faucet on. He had a good idea of what was causing that. He went back to repairing the leak. Got that done and stopped the noise in the bathroom walls. He went back out to the meter to make sure that it slowed down and it did. Really appreciated that.! All and all, he was here for about an hour and half. Fixed everything that needed to be fixed and the price was beyond fair! Will definitely use the company again!

I made the appointment for Jan. 12 because I was not getting any water pressure out of my kitchen sink. He said I needed a new kitchen faucet, and he said it would be $469. When I asked him then said instillation would be $312, and an additional $89 mobilization fee for coming out, which he ended up waiving because they never told me that when I called in. I went to the internet when he was here and showed him the faucet was only $79. I also had a toilet that was leaking and he wanted $312, that was way to high so I did not not have him work on it. I feel as though he had ripped me off and that the offer of $299 plumbing service for $99 was a misrepresentation, anyone who participates in this deal should inquire about the cost first of any services they area going to have performed.
