They drained the old septic tank and removed it and put in a new drain fill and septic tank. I haven't had any problems since.

We have used A to Z on several commercial plumbing jobs, and we've been very happy with all of the work done.

Angel came out to look at it. He noted that it appeared the bolt under cap to floor had loosened somehow. He worked on it and toilet is much steadier and stabilized now. He was quick, professional and friendly. Easy to talk to and explained situation well. I have used A to Z for several years now and have recommended them to others, as they were recommended to me by my friend.

I admit i'm a novice at this. So, when I tried tightening the hydrant faucets of my home but failed, I called up A to Z Statewide Plumbing to either repair of replace the entire faucet. They were the first to respond within a couple of minutes, arranged for a free estimate and was at my doorstep in less than 2 hours from my first message. It seemed that I screwed a different component and it was as simple as tightening a different part of the faucet. Took 2 seconds each. The person who came (Angel) was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. He did it without charge. Good experience so far with this company.

Our service was great. We couldn't have been happier. Our technician, Omar, was friendly, professional, thoughtful, and even came in on his day off to fix the problem before our out-of-town guests arrived. He gave us options about how to fix the problem in the most efficient and cost-effective way. We'd definitely hire him again.

This was a miserable experience. I chose A to Z among four plumbers who came to give estimates because they seemed the most professional. And because we liked the specific plumber who came to give us the estimate, whom we were told would also do the work. However, on the day the work was to be done, no one showed up at the agreed upon time. When we called 45 min later, we were told the plumber we wanted was sick and that someone else was five minutes away. We found out later that the sick excuse was a flat out lie! The plumber had been sent to work on another job, even though we had scheduled our appointment specifically with him two weeks in advance. Secondly, the guy that was supposedly 5 minutes away was NOT. In fact, we waited another hour before calling again. This time, we were told the second guy's truck broke down and a third plumber was on his way. The third plumber was a very nice man. And seemingly professional. But some of the equipment he needed was on the truck that had broken down and we needed to wait to have these supplies picked up and sent over. After the supplies from the broken down truck were received, we realized a part was still missing. This made things take longer and we had to negotiate with the building to extend the water shutoff time, since we were already two hours into our allotted time when the job finally began. These delays didn't only cost time. They cost money. I paid my building for a water shutoff, and we were very fortunate that they didn't make us pay for a second one. In any case, I lost hours of my time that cost me at my job. Then, they invoiced us for twice the amount we thought! I thought "total parts and labor" was the total for the job. It wasn't!!! We eventually negotiated down. But had we understood their estimate correctly, we might instead be asking why they intended to charge almost three times the amount of the other estimates we had gotten. After all of this, I discovered that the work was not done to satisfactory standards. The metal plate inserted in my shower was crooked, and there was no hot water in my shower when the plumber left. The plumber had to come back AGAIN to correct these issues. We chose this plumber because we were seeking a higher level of integrity and reliability. We didn't get that at all. I don't really like writing bad reviews or saying anything bad about anyone. But the public needs to know. Especially about a company that feels comfortable outright lying to its customers.

I called and left message to get an estimate for hot water heater and installation. I called again the next day and the rep told me it is $89.99 for an estimate (waived if I do the job with them). That’s unacceptable to get an estimate for a job. Other companies do not charge for estimates.

Eben was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He was able to fix our plumbing issues quickly. We were very happy with all the repairs.

The plumber showed up on time and did a wonderful job. He even offer made suggestions for future repairs. I was very pleased with the work.

Omar and Hiram stopped by and took care of the trickiest P-trap in the history of kitchens. The fix was ultimately snaking the line to find what was causing the sink to stop draining but, quickly became complicated due to a custom p-trap installation that was put in, during the mid 80s.

The job was completed in one day and the leak repaired. It was difficult work but it was done professionally and competently. I would use the company again.

The plumber was knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. He took the time to explain what we could do to prevent the problem from happening again.

They charged me $276 after the coupon (15% discount since I found them through Angie's List). A rip off, grossly overpriced. My toilet had another piece to fix and the price of the repair would cost me more than buying a new toilet. I strongly discourage any potential client to get their services. Please, don't overpay. In the end, I did not resolve the problem I had since I resolved it only partially. I chose not to fix the rest of the work because they were overcharging me.

Eben arrived very promptly was kind and courteous. He wore "booties" in my home so as to not track dirt into the house. He0.00 listened to my concerns about our slow draining toilet and shower. We discussed unknown location of a second septic tank and possible solutions. It was determined that he would give me an estimate to run a camera down the "stack" on the roof to determine the approx location of the septic tank. He emailed the estimate within the hour and the team at A to Z will coordinate a field team provide an estimate for a new septic tank system if we determine the current one is not in working condition.

From start to finish you see why A to Z is rated so highly on Angie's List. The friendly office staff set up the appointment within two days. Omar, the technician, explained everything that was done and potentially needed to be done and took care of it. This is another reason why Angie's list is always my first stop when I need help with something.

Overall dissatisfied with the excessive price of $429.00. With the 15% discount for being a member of Angie's list I actually paid $364.00 which is still excessive. I have purchased a new toilet and had it installed for less than $400.00.

Like all old things in a house, the original sink didn't come out easy but (John) A-Z Plumber took his time and we finally got it out. New sink was installed and no leaks. What else can you ask for?! He was cordial, informative and professional. I like this company.

They refused to give me a quote over the phone, then never called back after saying they would.
