No coupons were required for a discount - because he was sourced through Angie's list he offered a more than fair rate for the call and repair. Great experience all the way around. Description of Work: Service personnel arrived on time. He was very professional. My biggest concern is that the first visit was just to give us estimates and we were billed $89. I was advised that it would be better to pay for the service call and use the voucher for the capping off of the water lines later. When the lines were capped, it cost $233. I used the $299 voucher but got no credit for the remaining amount. The estimate to r-connect everything was over twice as much as the plumber I called in to do the re-connet. The voucher company was good but too costly for me.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon from Angie's List to use with A to Z State Wide Plumbing and called them. I needed to replace water hoses and valves under the sink that were leaking. They came out the same day, the gentleman was courteous, gave me an estimate and explained what he would do. He told me the about the guarantee on the parts and labor and I agreed to have the work done. I had leaking pipes and they had to be fixed immediately. The work was done quickly and everything was left clean. I just think that the price was too much for the work done. $697. I had a the coupon worth $299 and paid $398. I still thought it was expensive, but it had to be done. I was glad I had the coupon, with out it I would not have been able to get it fixed that day. I joined there Diamond club, it gives you a 25% discount on future repairs + what ever you have paid into the club and you get priority service. It is good to work with a company that responds quickly but in the future I will try to negotiate a better price.

Description of Work: I have used this company a few times. They get the job done, but not always on the first time. My biggest complaint is that their charges are astronomical. In my experience, plumbing is usually charged by the hour. With this company, the installation of a kitchen faucet, which took less than an hour, cost several hundred dollars and that was with an Angie's List certificate (i.e. $300 worth of plumbing for $100). I won't use this company again.

Description of Work: To install a toilet and confirm, via checking in the crawl space, that some pvc pipes were separated. Was told that it would be $630 to PURCHASE and install a toilet, and much cheaper if we provided it. I provided the toilet and was billed $619.00. Am considering a better business bureau complaint. They they quoted $2850 to replace the separated PVC pipe in the "confined" crawl space. I complained about the high price and they lowered it to $1700. Fortunately in the interim I had other plumbers visit and quote, and had the job done, including new pvc piping and labor, with 2 laborers, $550 for the complete job that A to Z had quoted $2850 for. This, I believe, is predatory pricing and there is no way a company using this tactic should be on Angies List.

Description of Work: I replaced a faulty hose bib. I used A to Z due to the special on Angie's List. Other than some price haggling which I usually expect, I was very satisfied with the service. Receptionist and manager was very professional, and technician was timely. I anticipated with the special deal that the pricing would be high to compensate for the "discount" they give, and it appeared that I was right. The service person quoted me nearly $500 for a job that I nknew typicall cost less than $250. I called the manager John, and he advised me there was a mistake made in the quote using the book prices, and he adjusted the quote to a fair and reasonable price. The work was done well and quickly. Aside from the initial pricing issue, I was very satisfied.

Description of Work: I had filed a report earlier this month on Angies List - I had several issues with A-Z in regard to a service call for a wax seal for my toliet. I have spoken to Michelle in the office today and she has been very professional in regard to resolving my concerns and issues. We have since come to a fair agreement and would like to commend them on responding to my report and making things right with me.

Description of Work: Hooking up dishwasher and sink/faucet. No piping or lines installed. Actual price was $875 but with Angie's List 10% discount and purchase of coupon for services valued at $299, with coupon costing $99, price came to slightly under $600. Vastly overpriced. The representatives who answer the phone and do the scheduling are responsive and friendly, thus the A and B grades there. The plumber's work was adequate. Slight leak under the sink after A to Z's work was done, was fixed by a subsequent contractor. Overall, just way too expensive for the nature and quality of the work performed.

Description of Work: I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness and preciseness of the service man. I was looking to do exactly what I needed . I had to replace a toilet so I found the one I needed at Home Depot, and all I need was to have a company pick it up and install it. They did just that and even gave me a 10% discount on labor. I would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: My toilet needed its innards upgraded so that it would flush easily and stop leaking. The tank is an unusual shape and so a part had to be ordered to fit. The repairman was able to minimize the leaking and help the flush potential during the first visit. The total repair took place about a week later. I was very satisfied with the work and the responsiveness of the company. The repairmen came when they were scheduled and now the toilet works fine.
