Took many weeks for delivery

Safebound Logistics made my move a nightmare! They lied about every single thing I was told when I signed with them AND ultimately, I had to pay almost DOUBLE what they had quoted me in order to get my belongings back! They subcontracted out my move after they had assured me that they do not do that. The second company demanded an additional $2200 dollars after they had loaded everything on the truck and informed me that they expected another $2200 plus the remaining balance at the time of delivery! That $4400 was more than double the original quote!!! They came 2 days later than scheduled, which was AFTER I had already closed on my home and therefore had to hand over the keys while they were still packing. When I did not pay the $2200, the subcontracted company held my belongings for a full 20 days! Although I was in constant contact with Safebound, they did NOTHING to get my belongings to me. Once they were finally delivered, (they must deliver within 21 days according to the DOT) almost EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE had been DELIBERATELY DAMAGED!!! I had no recourse except to pay the outrageous additional charges to get my things back BEFORE they would unload the truck! Besides the damage, there were things that were missing, and they did not fully assemble the furniture in my new home. As soon as the payment was made, Safebound Logistics blocked my phone calls!!! I had to call from different phones in order to get them on the line, but they did NOTHING to help me with the subcontracted company and only offered a few dollars in a discount, despite thousands of dollars worth of damage AND a deliberate and outrageous kidnapping of my belongings by the subcontractor, American Home Relocators. The insurance was also a scam! I documented every bit of damage, submitted over 50 photos, submitted my claim and waited months, only to be offered a ridiculous settlement of $79.00! And they wanted me to sign a waiver! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They have no morals, no integrity, no ethics and should not be in business!!! You cannot trust anything they tell you!! They turned my move, which is already one of the most stressful events in life, into a complete HORROR!!!! Since my experience, I have learned that there have been many others who share my experience.

Arrived on time with 3 polite and professional young guys. Took a little longer than I would have guessed but nothing was damaged and all pieces arrived safely. I did all the packing myself even bought my own stretch wrap for items I was fearful of, but Im not sure i even needed to do that. They gave me a set price, along with my Angie's discount. Ive used other movers and they went over the time and then billed me per hour. I was very satisfied with this mover and would use them again.

It went really well, arrived on time, took care of everything, wrapped everything and arrived to the destination safely, did not damage anything during the process. Overall I was pleased with the service.

They are very careful, thorough, moved quickly, and I will be hiring them again. I was very happy with the service.

Searched my area for 3 different movers. Mike came out and did an on-site estimate. I chose Safebound because they promised me my delivery date would be on 11/24. Well, they met my request. From the initial call to the end of the move, I feel as these guys take their reputation very seriously. Patric gave me his cell phone number just in case I needed to get a hold of him after work hours. I’ve posted a bulletin at work in case anyone needs movers. The moving industry has such a bad reputation, but I know these guys do their best to prove people otherwise. Hardworking would be my magic word for these guys. Cheers!

We used this company to both pack and move for us. The packing took 1 day, and we loaded on the next. On the day of the move, DJ and ET showed up on time and loaded all our stuff onto the truck. I called the office and spoke to Rachelle to get our ETA. She is awesome! Super friendly and made us feel at ease explaining how long it would take. Well, we received our items yesterday and everything is in the same condition from when it was picked up. I’ve used movers in the past and have been in the dark about my delivery. These guys made it easy to communicate, allowing me to text/call whenever I wanted an update. I wish the industry had more of these guys around. Thank you!
