RON TAYLOR APPLIANCE REPAIR SERVICE

I had problems with a thermador stovetop and a GE refridgerator. Ron recommended a specialist for the Thermador and said I might as well have him check the refridgerator too and save the cost of 2 service calls. All of my appliances are over 5 yrs old, so I know there will be a next time and I would not hesitate to call Ron again.

I would recommend them because they were very prompt, very professional and polite. They were a pleasure to deal with.

If you are in the West Palm Beach / Boynton are and have a GE fridge... do NOT call GE -- call Ron! His professionalism and expertise is worth every penny of the charge.

This is a really amazing company. I called Ron Taylor to schedule an appointment to have the ice maker in my refrigerator repaired since it was not making ice. Ron said he would be happy to come, but based on our discussion, thought that I might be able to take care of it myself since it sounded as if it had only frozen up. He suggested that I unload everything to our other freezer and turn it off for 12 hours to let it defrost and then try it again. If that didn't work, I should call him back and he would come and service it. His diagnosis was correct and it is now working. He could easily have said nothing until he got here and thus been able to charge a service fee. It is very refreshing to deal with this kind of integrity. You can be sure that I will call him in the future for any appliance repair that I may need.

I called Ron they said they would come next day and gave me a range of times. He called me early in the morning and confirmed the timing. They called again when they were 30 min away. The engineer identified the issue with our dryer and when it was reassembled and working he recommended replacing a support which was causing an very loud continuous squeak. I was delighted with the whole experience and also thought the young man doing the work was extremely polite and communicative. I am thinking of switching my air con maintenance to them. First rate

Andre was dispatched and was very knowledgeable about my Frigidaire stack washer/dryer. He arrived on time and took the time to explain the possible things wrong with the unit. He worked on the unit professionally and repaired it with no problems. This company is truly the best!

They arrived on time and were very knowledgable about the problems and how to repair them. I called them to fix my dryer because I was very pleased when they fixed my washer. I would definitely use them again.

The gentleman was very prompt and very knowledgeable. He made a diagnosis over the phone, arrived with the correct part, and made the repairs without incident.

Went well except he didn't have the parts ahead of time because I couldn't give him the model number (it's buried under the cooktop). Not his fault, and he came back once the parts came in. Cleaned up after himself and was cordial and professional.

Both appointments with technician went very well part arrived ahead of schedule.

He called me back in less than thirty min. He was willing to come out the day before Thanksgiving I scheduled him to come out the day after. Based off of what I shared with him during our conversation he had already suspected what the problem was before he got here. he was very sincere and knew what he was talking about.

He was great and was there for about five minutes. It was good, there wasn't really too much for him to do when he got here. It was a very simple fix. The problem was solved so I give him credit there and he was a nice guy.

Excellent overall service and price

My GE refrigerator stopped cooling so I checked Angie's list and called Ron. He told me to call GE to see if there was a recall on my model, and if not I should call him back. Instead of calling him back, I had GE come out. BIG MISTAKE!!!! GE charged me $170.00 for a circuit board that I could have gotten online for $111.00. And charged me $170.00 labor for removing 4 screws and disconnecting some plugs which I could have done myself. Ron was trying to save me some money and I wish that I had called him back instead of having GE come out for a ten minute job.

He did not personally do the work because it was one of those funny things where he was going to be out of town for the time that I needed him. He did not get the service for his company, but he did a good job of recommending somebody else that came right out and fixed it. He got back to me right away. It is a small company, so without being able to send someone out right away, he was able to immediately give me a reference to someone who was able to come out. He was probably booked for the next couple of weeks I think, but I can't remember what it was.

They came out quickly, found the problem fast and the price was very reasonable. We would use them again.

Very well. On time, on schedule with good advice and recommendation from the technician.

My experience with them was great. They were prompt and friendly. They did what they said they were going to do at the price they said they were going to do it. They fixed a problem that nobody else could fix. They were the third people that we had come out.

I called Ron on a Friday morning for a fridge that was not cooling. He was able to assign a technician on the same day to come. His technician was very thorough. After the evaporation fan motor was replaced, the fridge was cooling again. The cooling was slow initially. It took over 12 hours to freeze a bottle of water. I called Ron on Saturday morning to ask the tech to come to look at it. His tech called and said the fridge needed time to get to "normal". If it took that much time to freeze by Monday, he would come. By Monday, the fridge was back to normal.

I'd had a problem with my cooktop range for several months: the thermostat on the control for the largest burner was unreliable, and sometimes the burner would run at full blast when the knob was set at anything except "off". I procrastinated getting a service call on it until I had a problem with my dishwasher, which suddenly refused to fill with water. I was able to schedule a service call the day after I called Ron's. The technician from Ron's was able to diagnose the problem with the dishwasher by inspection: a float valve had been jammed in the up position by a paring knife that fell out of the utensil basked, and then hidden by a heap of detergent. When he removed the knife the dishwasher ran fine. He had brought a replacement for the float valve but didn't use it. He then confirmed that there was a problem with the control knob on the range, and replaced that part. So he charged me for one service call and the replacement part on the range. While he was there I had him look at the ice dispenser on my freezer, which I thought was failing. He agreed and was able to contact Ron's offices and get a quote for a replacement part, which I told him to order. I will be scheduling another service call to have that installed when the part arrives.

I couldnot have been more pleased with Rons' service. We had a bit of an emergency because we were leaving the area and had a tenant moving in within the week. The call to Ron was made late in the day. Inspite of his having to get to a wedding that evening, he took the effort to accomodate our needs. I would definately use Ron Taylor again.

Ron and his assistant arrived and went right to work. They soon discovered that it wasn't just a relay switch, but that the compressor had gone out. Instead of trying to repair the fridge, Ron told me to simply replace it, it was far more efficient to buy a new model than try to repair my unit, even though I had a fairly new fridge and he would lose out on the repair. He recommended a brand he felt was the best buy, I took his advice, and it appears I'm back in business with a new appliance. He also gave me a discount on the service call because he couldn't fix the problem. How can you not like a man that saves you money at his own expense?

Their price was not expensive. The technician was professional and he went above and beyond. He told me how to keep it running and what to do in the future. It was the first time I used his service and it was fine. It was a good experience.
