O'Hara Pest Control

Joseph and James arrived at the perfect time to check my sprinkler system. I had purchased the service early in the year from their Angies list coupon. I knew that I needed a check up and a bi-monthly service agreement. They were both true professionals. They ran each zone and unclogged the heads and made sure every thing worked great. They then checked the clock and set it for my twice a week watering. Very thorough and very efficient.

Not only did Joseph check all of our sprinkler heads and readjust them, he dug out the ones that were buried and repaired a pipe that he found had broken. We were so impressed that we signed up for a years service with this remarkable company. Try them, you won't be disappointed. They are terrific!

My experience was good. They were customer oriented. The product was pretty good as well.

O'Hara quickly and effectively respond to whatever pest problem our household happens to be dealing with, most recently whitefly. More importantly, the technicians infestations aren't allowed to develop either. Our regular landscape maintenance crew, also with O'Hara, regularly prevents little issues from spilling into larger ones, at least within reason. All in all, I'm happy with O'Hara's comprehensive care plans and very impressed with their emphasis on true customer service. The whole package is only good as its parts!

They came and did the job in about an hour. They came out for pest control and exterminating. He was okay for the price. I think it’s a fair deal for what they charge.

They came one time and it was fine. I had no complaints with them. I was happy to have someone spray. I have no Idea if it worked because I live in Florida. They were nice to me and he did his job.

They scammed me completely. They robbed me. They took money out of my bank account without my permission. The experience was zero. It was horrible. I would never use them again. They overcharged me. The guy told me that if I weren't happy with the service, I could cancel it at any time. Then, when I wanted to cancel it because they didn't show up many times. They were just like they wanted me to do the pest control inside and outside and they never went inside. Apparently, they showed up when I wasn't there. So, I wanted to cancel the service. And, they didn't want me to cancel the service, so they overcharged me for times where didn't use it. At the end, he said like, "Okay, give me $180 or something like that or $90 for the bridge of the contract, but because they have my credit card, they took 200 and something dollars without my permission, without my authorization. They say that I have a contract for 12 months, and I couldn't cancel it. They made me do something different.

I wanted to have plants installed in the front yard but I wanted to have the sprinkler fixed in order make sure the plants survive. They were suppose to have their sprinkler come by to discuss the issue but we could never get together and when we finally had a time he didn't call or show up I am out 200.00 dollars. will never buy one of those deals again.

The tech called me the day before each treatment to let me know he was coming. They treated all my front yard hedges for Whitefly infestation. After 4 quarterly treatments, I have not seen any Whiteflies and my hedges have begun to regenerate. The only thing I did not like having to do was sign up for a one year auto renewing contract that could only be cancelled via certified letter. I did not renew my contract; however if they are willing to provide treatments when requested, I will be using them again very soon.

Technician, Joseph Montas, arrived on time. Walked me through the areas where the repairs would be made, and discussed all the necessary details, as well as answered all my questions. Joseph promptly went to work and diligently completed all the repairs to our satisfaction. Joseph went above and beyond the original scope of the work, but he told us he wanted us to be 100% satisfied with the work. He tested the system and re-set the timing before he left, and he also cleaned up any debris and trash that he had accumulated. We are very pleased with the work performed, The system has not worked this well in a couple of years. Thanks to Joseph and O'Hara Services for a job well done. Will recommend their services to our friends.

The service man was awesome! He actually called and was early to appointment. He went thru each zone with me and He made me aware of one that was close to property line covered by neighbors fence that was installed. He relocated the sprinkler so that it would perform correctly and no extra charges were incurred. I will definitely use O'Hara Services again!!!

Contacted company twice. Never got back to me.

I bought a discounted deal for this company on Angie's List. When Chris came to my home he stated I had misunderstood the deal and charged me twice the advertised amount. I gave him the benefit of the doubt which was wrong. I also agreed to have them come back two months later. A month and 11 days later my doorbell rang and I did not answer it not expecting anyone. Shortly after I saw a tech from the company had entered my fenced in yard and had let himself into my screen enclosure. I hurriedly put my three dogs away and advised him that I did not expect them until next month. The rep advised me to talk to the driver who was rude and could not give me a clear reason why they were several weeks early and told me I needed to call Chris. I called Chris who stated that due to route schedule I was on the books for today. I stated that today did not work for me and due to the unexpected service call and the rudeness of the driver I did not want to use them again. Chris became very rude and said "that's not how this works you signed a contract" then stated that "this is always how Angie's List people act" and was VERY condescending and sarcastic. I have NEVER dealt with such a rude person! I am amazed at this young man's immaturity and gall! Do not hire this company!

The gentleman was courteous and professional, and he guaranteed his work. However, his treatment method was ineffective, and we opted to use another firm since he was only going to do another application of the original treatment.

Though I didn't use this company my time with them was productive, they were straightforward, said they couldn't do the job right away and suggested I get a refund.

I rearranged my work schedule to have time off on the morning I had service. I received a call about the time of the scheduled service (arround 9am) saying they would be over an hour late. I did not reschedule and used a different service provider.

We took advantage of a big deal to get our ant problem under control. The company made prompt contact and arrived as agreed. They did the job well.

He was pleasant and scheduling was good.

He was very nice, pleasant and professional . He initially came out and looked at the trees and came back to treat them. We noticed the affects a couple of weeks later and the trees looked so much better. Scheduling was perfect and they were very efficient. I couldn't’t have asked for anything better.

He came. He sprayed. He left. I don't recall being impressed one way or the other.

There was some confusion on what package we had purchased and what that would include. They said I had purchased a treatment for only white flies. They did come out and do what I expected them to do though which was treating the inside and outside for pests. I have used them before, but their follow up wasn't very good this time. The day after they left, the whole inside of my front door was covered in ants. We sprayed household spray and we called them to inform them of the issue they said there was no need in them coming out because we had already sprayed. This was disappointing.

Although i had some difficulty with OHara Pest control in the beginning it has turned out well. They are a provider that does what they say they are going to do, and offers a service that is superior to most. I would recommend them if you are looking for a pest control service..
