They were great, polite, courteous too!

Everything was great. Punctual and efficient.

I have nothing negative to say. All GOOD. They came, worked hard, was done with the entire move in 5 hours. They had a 525 foot walk to the elevator they had to use and it didn't even seem to slow them down. They were just amazing. Real professionals, I was happy.

Workers were very courteous, polite and hard working. They were quick to accommodate all my requests (except for scratching floors). They did scratch some floors, contrary to their contract, but scratches were mostly fixable. They broke a window-waiting for a decision on compensation.

I called them on that wednesday to set up a move for that friday where they were all booked, so we pushed back to the next day on sat. The owner stated they would call sat morning to arrange and set up the details of the move and confirm a time window. I never got a call that morning and reached out to the owner who did not put me down in the books, he though still had a free slot with his guys and could do the move that day. He reached out to one of the trucks to call me and give me a time frame. They stated it would be around 1-2pm that day. Around 1:45 he called and said he was unloading the truck and would be there around 3pm. At 3:30 I called him and he said he wouldnt be there for another hour and half to 2 hours. I called back the owner who understood my frustration and another truck out there at exactly 5pm and agreed to give me half of my service. Once the guys got there, they truly busted their tails and did the move as quickly and professionally as possible. They did a great job, unloading and loading and couldnt have been happier with how that part of the move went. All in all minus the problems with the timing it was a great experience and an owner who understands customer service and making sure the client is happy. I would use them again for my next move.

Excellent service - the crew arrived exactly on time, they were able to quickly and safely move all the furniture into our garage. (They knew how to stack all the items so that everything would fit). The next day, after the carpet installers had finished their work, I called to schedule the crew to come back and move all the furniture back into the house. I was expecting that we would have to wait several days to get worked into their schedule. Jack not only remembered who I was, but he offered to have the crew come that same afternoon. We were so thankful they were able to come back so quickly. So all the furniture is back in place - with no damage......even our extremely large china cabinet with glass doors. We are very pleased with the service we received from Lords moving !

When movers called early to ask if it would be OK if they arrived a little earlier that our agreed on 10 am start, I was happy to head over to the condo sooner. They wrapped all the furniture in either plastic wrap [upholstered pieces] or mover's blankets and quickly emptied out the condo. When they arrived at the house they cheerfully set up all of the pieces where I asked them. From start to finish, including driving from Jupiter to Lake Worth, Lord's Moving completed the work in under two hours. I was very pleased with every aspect of their work. This was the second time I engaged Lord's Moving, and this move confirmed just how good and competitively priced they are.

It went overall very well -> should have been better, if someone came to inspect between providing an estimate. The movers were polite and well behaved. I will use this company again.

After my Father's death on December 5th, 2012, I found "Lord's Moving" Service in the yellow pages. I am not a resident of West Palm Beach, so as is always my habit, I researched ratings and found them to be favorable. Additionally, I was drawn to the fact that their name indicated an honest, caring, Christian company, so, being a Christian myself, I called and spoke with the owner, Jack. Jack was kind, and understanding of my needs and even asked if we could pray over the phone, which I agreed to. This APPEARS to have been done to gain my trust and "seal the deal". The belongings were picked up, and without forewarning I was informed they would be in storage until they had other clients' furniture being delivered to my area. Also, the two most fragile pieces, table top glass and a floor lamp glass shade were left for me to transport because in their words, "They were way too fragile for them to move and they were afraid they might get broken." The belongings were delivered a couple of weeks later at Lord's convenience. There was severe damage to an entertainment center. This piece could not even be repaired. The movers had wrapped the piece in plastic, and secured the plastic with clear packing tape. In FOUR places the tape was affixed directly to the finish of the cabinet. Of course, when it was removed it pulled off all of the finish in each area. Each damaged area was large, about 4 x 15 or 20 inches. The Lazy Boy desk chair was not delivered, and one of the antique end tables was also not there. I was told that the pieces would be brought in a separate delivery, and in fact, they were delivered UNWRAPPED in a pick-up truck by one man after a week, and my husband had to help off-load them and carry them into the house. We had been lied to obviously because we had been told that all belongings would be stored TOGETHER in one place, and that nothing would be left behind. Following these events, which would have been enough to warrant a poor review, things went from very bad to worse. We were referred to Andre' to handle our reimbursement, etc. I had sent a text to the owner, including photos of the damage. I never got a response at all from him. I spoke on two occasions to Andre' with the promise of compensation, which never happened. Then, on 2/8, 2/25, 3/6, and 3/11 of 2013 my husband called and spoke with him. There were empty promises on each occasion. We were told all of the following on these occasions: 1. A claim would be submitted, and that is the reason they have "all that expensive insurance". (there was a contract stating we had up to $1,000,000 coverage per occurance...we were offered $100.00 to repair a destroyed $500.00 cabinet.) 2. A check would be mailed first thing "tomorrow", on 2/9. 3. He had not mailed it because he did not have our address. 4. He did not mail it because he needed the correct spelling of our name. 5. He was a busy man. and 6. He had already mailed it, and could not understand why we had not gotten it. Since Jack was the one who originally encouraged me to join "Angie's List", I decided that posting a review and affixing my name to it as a pledge that all of this review is true and correct is the least I could do to help others avoid the headaches Lord's has added to my already stressfull act of moving Dad's things while mourning my loss.

Don't be fooled by the owner's (Jack) casual style, he was professional all the way, answering all my questions promptly by phone or text. On packing and delivery day they were late due to no fault of their own, and the drivers called and kept me updated about their revised arrival time. At both ends, the staff was helpful, courteous and did an overall excellent job. As advertised at the Lord's Moving website, their price was approximately 30% less than the "big boys" but there was neither skimping on service nor any hidden surprises.

I called Dr. Jack (who is now on speed dial!) in the afternoon for a quote. He gave me a fair price, promised delivery the next day, and said he'd call in the morning to give me a 4 hour window. Andre called me early the next day and asked if I would be home to take delivery within the hour. I was delighted not to have to waste time hanging around. The men and purchases arrived shortly afterward and the move was perfect. Another 5 stars for Lord's Moving.

The owner answered the phone and took my information quickly and gave me a quote right away. It was so easy and reasonable, I was skeptical that they would actually show up on the day of the move. However, they showed up with four very friendly men and had all of my contents loaded on the truck the fastest I've ever seen. I have moved over a dozen times and they were by far the quickest and most efficient movers. They were also very respectful and careful. The set up at the new house went just as well. I could not believe the quality of the service for the price. I was sorry I didn't have more to tip them with, but they were gracious about what I gave them, which was the coldest water I had (it was moving day so not too cold) and $20 each. They were so thankful. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone moving and I will definitely be using their services again.

I had used this company in October to move our household furniture from our house into public storage. That move was handled by Lord's Moving and the move went flawlessly under foreman Andre's professional leadership. So, when we purchased and closed on a new house, we requested this company to do the move. Again the move went perfectly - on time, courteous, efficient, and the movers navigated a tricky staircase with heavy items without incident. Glad we asked Jack Stone, the owner of this company, to ensure we had the "A" team. Thanks again for the good work fellas!

These guys were great. I had to move a bunch of heavy furniture from a second floor walk up. We made an appointment just 4 days before we needed them and they were accomidating. They were punctual and came with five guys. They were extremely fast, efficient and friendly. Everything was wrapped and moved with great care.They accomplished in 2 hours what would have taken us all day. I would hire them again in a minute.

They were polite and hard working and did everything in a timely manner. I was very happy with their services and would recommend Lord's Moving to anyone. The owner was very agreeable and and a pleasure to work with.
