It went extremely, extremely, extremely well. They were very prompt. I called them two days before I had to move and arranged the move. Dr. Jack Stone was very helpful along the way. He always answered my calls. I think that I called him nearly 15 times to arrange everything and he was always on the money. On the day of the move, they arrived late due to the distance of where they came from. It was a two hour drive in traffic. However, they knew that I had to be out of my apartment by 1:00PM and they got me out exactly before 1:00PM, as promised. There were four gentlemen who worked extremely hard and diligently, and they all worked with incredible speed and care. They were truly working like lightning. All the other companies I spoke with stated that it would take approximately 4 hours for the move and they did it in 1-1/2 hours. I am incredibly pleased and I would highly recommend this company.

I got this company from Angie's List and they did an excellent job. The people that came out were good and I was very happy with them. They showed up on time and they were careful loading and unloading my things on the truck. We had no issues with them and everything happened as promised.

I packed, labeled carefully, carried glassware, paintings myself, made it relatively simple. The price is right.

They gave us a quote of $350. They had to carry some very large items down the downstairs. They really do take care of your stuff like its their own. They finished the job in about four hours. They are really hard workers and very patient.

The packing took place on Saturday, May 11. They said it was much more stuff than they expected, although I had shown the director everything, opened every closet, when he came for the estimate. We were given an appointment time between 9 and 10 on Monday which was then changed (2 days in advance) to 10 to 11. When I called them at 11.15, they said, it would be 1.30 pm, but they still would be able to move everything the same day, as he would send 8 people. At 3 pm 4 people arrived with a small truck. They unloaded it in Delray Beach at 7 pm and promised to be back at 8 the following morning. They came shortly after 8 and took 2 more trips, the whole move was over at 4 pm Tuesday. The people were quite nice but not very careful

Terrible!Sent a 24 foot truck to move a 3700sq. Foot house! No boxes and only 2 men. The men could not get Dr. Stone on the phone. They drove 4 hours for nothing.

Lord's Moving is my best experience with movers so far. I have dealt with movers who are very unreliable in the past. Jack provides a reasonable estimate and keeps his word. No last minute gimmicks like ohh this is a truck load and we will change more on the moving day. These guys are very fast and reliable. My local move was completed within 3 hours and to my satisfaction.

It was fabulous! They were very friendly, worked with us during the crazy move, and they were very professional. They were very quick ! We could not have asked for a better group of people.

I am making a local move and checked to see what moving companies were available, their charges, and overall ratings. I first spoke with Jack Stone on May 27 thinking that 3 weeks would be a big enough window to make arrangements for the move. We spoke about what I wanted to move and where I was moving. Since this is a local move I didn't think it would be difficult getting on the schedule. We made arrangements for him to stop by on Saturday, June 8th to drop off the "free" boxes and wardrobes at 10:00. I called at 10:09 and Jack answered. I asked him why he hadn't called for directions and he said that he had our appointment for Monday 6/10/2013 at 10:00. I said okay even though I had it down for Sat. Well, here it is 10:40 am Monday, June 10 and no phone call. He never took my name even when I asked him. He said he'd get it when he called for directions to my home. Please be aware that this is not the type of business person I am use to doing any sort of business with. How he got all those rave reviews is not a mystery to me. I can only go by what I experienced and I am a firm believer that my word is my bond and I don't even own a business! This is the first time I have had a negative experience through Angie's List. It happens, we're only human.

The movers were very professional and efficient.

I am very pleased with Mr. Lord's moving service. Mr. Lord was prompt in returning my call, he scheduled my pickup and delivery dates and priced the job on the first day I called. When it came closer to the date, he had to reschedule a day later, but as it actually turned out he rescheduled again, back to the original date, so nothing had changed. It was a little confusing but it ended up just fine. On the pickup date, his (2) men called me 7 hours away from my home and they arrived promptly. They were very nice and did the job quickly and carefully. They had a 2 day window for delivery. They called during their trip and delivered as scheduled. My friend who accepted the delivery on my behalf couldn't say enough nice things about them, he asked me "where did you get these guys, they were great!".

The movers called me when they were on their way in the morning of the move. They wrapped furniture, pictures and glass professionally to protect the property. They arrived on time. They also did a small move for a family member while in Tampa and that went quickly and professionally. There was NO damage to any property. The movers were fast and did not stop to take breaks. They worked unti the job was done. I must comment on how professional the movers were. They treated me with the utmost of respect. There are NO slackers in this company. I would highly recommend this company.

The delivery was made two days later as they said it would. They came when they said they would. They unloaded everything in the rooms the boxes were marked and the furniture was placed in the family room. We could not have gotten better service. We could not have felt the confidence we did knowing they were honest, hard working men who take pride in work. Everything arrived with no damage,nothing lost. Asked all the right questions to give me an accurate estimate, very cooperative in setting a day and time for the move, showed up on time - three experienced men, as promised, with all necessary equipment. Fast, courteous, good-humored, made it as much fun as a %*&$# (sp?) move can be. We felt we were in good hands all the way. Highly recommend for dependable, personal service.

Very happy with my move. I typically move every 4 years and use different movers each time. I moved from a two large storage units to a 4 br home. These guys did not sit down at all and were very fast. Nothing was broken when I moved into my new home. Was very pleased and would use these guys again.
