BEST moving service I have ever used and I've used many over the years. Probably over a dozen. They are far and away the best. It was actually enjoyable!!

Dr Jack Stone is a man of his word. What he promised he delivered on in a timely matter The move went quickly. They came, packed and moved us in a timely manner. Any minor issues were resolved by Dr Jack Stone to our satisfaction

An easy and efficient move. I am very happy with Lord's Moving.

I called a week ahead and spoke to Jack (the owner) to set-up an appointment to estimate move cost; we confirmed all details in writing via email, but he never showed up. When I contacted him 30 minutes after he was supposed to arrive to ask if he was coming, he replied saying something about calling but not having the right phone number. His reply was over 5 hours after the appointment time. In his email he said he didn't have right contact number, but he was replying to an email that contained not one, but two contact phone numbers for us. I can't say his company's work is good or bad - they just didn't show up. Maybe something came up, but not calling is a strange way to do business.

On time, very professional and polite. The guts were fast yet careful. Nothing was broken and I have a lot of glass and large screen televisions.

Excellent. Everything from the initial contact to the fib\nal cleanup after the move was perfect. Could not have been easier or better.

They did call to say they would be late. Provided insurance and all necessary documents. They protected all my furniture etc. and were very quick and courteous.

They were fast, efficient, and all the guys worked as hard as they could! I highly recommend them to everyone!

There was a lot of furniture that they had to take from the walk up building and put in the elevated building. It really was a lot of work that they did for me and they handled it beautifully. They were very professional, they wrapped the furniture to make sure that it wasn't damaged etc. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Lord was friendly and nice when he came to our house to give a price to move us to NC and the price was reasonable as we were not taking all of our furniture with us. But from there on it was down hill. First they sent a truck without enough room left to load all our belongings. It was insinuated that we had added to the load after Dr. Lord had figured what was needed when in fact we had reduced what we were moving by deciding not to send a large tv entertainment center and most of two bedroom suits. When I expressed my concern about a "split shipment" and not all the furniture arriving at the destination at the same time, they sent another truck and unloaded the first truck on to it along with the rest of our furniture. The loading process took all afternoon and the truck didn't leave for NC until well after dark. We were told to expect arrival at our new house in NC in two days at eight o'clock in the morning. We drove the fourteen hour drive the next day, stayed with relatives that night and traveled on to our new house the next morning. We were at our new (empty house) at 7:30 am the day truck was to arrive. We waited until 9:30 before we called back to Lord Moving and were told that the truck had experienced some difficulty in route and it should be at our location in a couple of hours. Three hours past and we checked again and were told they should be there any time now. This routine was repeated several times more and at 10:30 pm the driver of the truck called and said they were on the way and should be there in an hour. The truck arrived at 12 midnight. I told the crew that if they would just unload a mattress so we wouldn't have to sleep on the floor that they could return and unload the next morning. That's what they did and they were at the house at 8:am the next day. There is much more to this story we had damaged furniture, broken framed pictures and numerous other items were damaged or destroyed. To be honest , I haven't sent them any bills for the damages because I was so glad to done with them I didn't want to deal with them any longer. We sent one broken picture frame back with the truck. The driver said he would make sure it was repaired and returned to us. We never heard another word about it. Anyway, I would not recommend this company to anybody and am glad the ordeal is over.

It went terrible. They guy lied to me about having a trailer that could lift a motorcycle, they also stacked boxed on top of each other which was unnecessary, the boxes were only supposed to be 3 boxes high. He was not very professional.

They had the lowest price but with the damage done & the aggravation I could have used a more expensive mover. In the long run I did not save using Lord's moving. It started at the day of them picking up my furniture from Pa. apartment. I was told by Mr. Stone his men were going to be there at 7am they did not show up until 5:30 pm. I had to make most of the calls to see where they were & received a few different times for their arrival. When they did arrive there were surprised that my apartment was 3rd floor & the furniture I had. I had to show them the email that listed all my furniture & the fact the apartment was 3rd floor moving to a 2nd floor.The gentlemen called Mr. Stone about how upset they were. I then RECEIVED a phone call & Mr. Stone was upset calling me a lair in a matter of words about the prices I got - he said he was a Christian man & would honor the contract amount but I needed to give his movers a good tip. The movers did not even have enough shrink wrap ( they used mine) & had to go buy more wrap & moving blankets. I had the apartment security come to my door because of the time & noise. The men did leave around 9:30 & did come back the next morning at 9am just as they said. it looked like they covered everything good but some how between Pa. & Fl. a lot of damage was done. Before I get into the damage I do have to say that the men were polite. When delivering the furniture I was told the men were going to be here at 9am & they arrived around 4:30 in the afternoon. My husband had changed his work schedule to help me but that did work out because of the tardiness. Andre asked for the balance due before anything was brought in. After the cash was given to him the first thing brought in was a TV that was damaged on the outside. I then hooked up the cable & it did not work. Andre said as long it went on & off he had no responsibility & he blamed it on the cable was not hooked up properly - that was proven wrong when another TV ( one I brought down with me)worked.I have numerous pieces of furniture damaged, a couch with dirt/grease marks, dining room chairs with dirt on them, the mattress had all kinds of dirt in the side as if it was dragged along the floor. I wound up with glue on the carpet from Andre fixing a piece of furniture. Also I have a curved couch that the men a very difficult time with. I mentioned 3 times to take off the door & they did not & could not the couch in the room. My husband by himself with only a little help from me got the couch in the room so then we had to re arrange furniture. Andre had signed for me to get quotes to get furniture cleaned & stated that he would send the money on several occasions & I still do not have the money.He said to me that he has 90 days to take care of the broken tv I would very surprised if I see that. One I did not mention that there were 3 pieces of furniture on the list that did not come down on my accord & nothing was ever mentioned about that.With the money given, tips & damages I wish I used another company.

Everything went well for the most part. No items were damaged, the movers were professional and courteous, and their price was the best that I had found. The only issue is that they didn't seem to be fully equipped for the job. Specifically, I ended up just throwing my clothes into boxes.

I was excited about this company being a Christian company. I was very surprised by the lack of professionalism from the owner Dr. Jack. Numerous things were damaged by his men including my new bed was not put back together properly and by the time my bed broke, it was to late for them to cover it and I had to purchase another bed. They not only damaged my furniture but also the wood floors in the unit. I recently have to move again and I thought I would just check with them, they have raised there prices over 400% and Dr. Jack was again very rude to me, definitely not a company I will ever refer or want to deal with again in the future.

We needed a quick move for our daughter who got a job out of state. We had previously used Titan Moving and Storage and were very pleased with them, however they weren't available on such short notice so we looked on Angie's List and chose Lord's Moving. The communication and paperwork were a bit "loosey goosey" compared to Titan who crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's before starting work. The owner, Dr Jack, wasn't the best communicator and never did send me a written proposal, all he ever gave me was a verbal quote, based on a phone discussion with him and later an inventory I sent him by email. So when the movers actually showed up, I still had no contract, nor gurarantee they would even charge the price discussed. We live in a gated neighborhood, and the guard at the gate requires that the guest driver coming in to the neighborhood shows their driver's license. it turned out that the driver of the moving truck's license had been revoked and the guard would not allow them in the gate! I called Jack, the owner, and he came up with some excuse that the guy had left his license elsewhere, however according to my husband, who went to the gate to deal with this, the driver's license had actually been revoked....After changing drivers around, the moving truck finally got into the neighborhood (they were on time). This is where things started to get better as the actual movers were courteous and careful and they did have the paperwork with them which included the price I agreed to on the telephone . There was a hitch after they loaded the goods, though in that the owner had told me I could write them a check, but the movers wanted cash. We ended up going to an ATM and giving them cash - I had the "supervisor" make a note that I paid cash on the contract -and then they presented me with an Angie's List form to sign! I said no, I would give them a review AFTER my daughter's goods arrived safely to her new apartment! The company owner could not tell me the exact date that the furniture would arrive which was a bit of an issue since my daughter had to drive 14 hours to get to her new apartment and didn't want to stay in a hotel for days. It actually took them two days to arrive and they unloaded at 9 at night, which was inconvenient, however we decided we shouldn't push our luck and wait for the following day and that it was better to just get it done. The two guys that delivered the furniture and drove from Florida were excellent. They were professional and quick and careful. We were pleasantly surprised. Note that this was a shared truck, meaning that is was a small load and the drivers carried and delivered other loads to other destinations along the way from the same moving truck, so I was a bit worried that some of my daughter's furniture might end up at the wrong location (as my husband and I lost a large portion of our household goods with this type of move with a different company years ago), however every item showed up unharmed. Overall everything came out OK, but the process was unnerving and the administration of the company wasn't very organized or concerned about paperwork. In the future I would use Titan Moving and Storage instead of Lord's. Titan Moving and Storage required that all paperwork was signed , they used a dedicated truck instead of mixing your furniture with those of other customers and they also sent formal proposals. Lord's didn't do any of these things and also the issue with the driver not having a driver's license was disconcerting on moving day..

Jack the owner came to my house and gave me an estimate for the move. I agreed to have them do the job and we scheduled a day. On the morning of the move I called and confirmed the time. They asked if they could come early, I said okay. They showed up 2 hours later then the scheduled time. They were unable to take all of belongings on a single truck, so at my expense they rescheduled for the following day. They were on time the following day, but then again realized there was more then they had thought for this load (even though I had walked them through the house to make sure they knew all remaining items to be taken). They called the owner Jack and handed the phone to me, to again try and charge me more for the move. The movers were seemingly nice guys, but spoke of nothing else other then how little money they would be making off this move. They shared that Jack told them he never came to my house. It all seemed a little shady. Both trips down to the new house (1 hour away) it took them more then 1.5 hours to get there. They stopped for snacks, drinks, whatever....but this was never communicated to me. It's a little unnerving to have all of your belongings sitting somewhere you don't know of, especially when the first trip was with the back door of the truck wide open. My wood bottom furniture was dragged along the bottom of the truck and as a result has some damage. I watched my mattress get dragged along the front walkway of my house. Toward the end of the second day, they began to refuse to take anymore items. Therefor, I still have things remaining to be moved. The majority of my belongs arrived safely, but I would not use this company again.

Amazing movers, great custom service, punctual, overall I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They did an excelletn job and worked very hard and took good care of everything.

First of all Jack the owner kept forgetting my move date. My neighbor had them move her and she thought they did a nice job for the cost. But she said make sure you follow them. I had boxes and a bed and small items. They got lost finding my address but eventually found me. I asked them (4 guys) if they wanted to follow me or I should follow them. The driver said he would follow me. Twice he took off on me and it was good I had his cell number and called him right away. He came back both times but it made me a little nervous. Finely the move was complete. I gave them each a nice tip. Some things were a little banged up but mostly okay. I called Jack the manager a few days later to tell him about the driver taking off on me and he told me that I should take it up with the Service Department. I said to him " you are the owner right?" He said he would call me back and I never heard from him.

They were very good. They were accomodating, efficient, strong, professional, and respectful of my property. I highly recommend them to others.
