Was very good, they moved me from New Jersey to Florida.

Everyone did a great job. They were very careful and completed. The job in a timely manner.

It went awesome Andre came in with his team of guys assigned them each to a room . These guys where great they wrapped taped and loaded the truck. No messing around it was all business. Before I knew it we where on our way to my new house. When we arrived these guys did not skip a beat . Bing bang and everything was unloaded unwrapped and built . They moved paintings, furniture, clothes and boxes and patio furniture. The owner was Dr Jack Lord. I contacted them, and saw the reviews. I saw a constant flaw and one of the only ones on the reviews was that they didn't get back to members that email. I called since I was wrapping up my computer for the move. I called Dr. Jack Lord and he was the owner. I told him what I needed. I thought it was strange that he didn't come over (I invited him to see furniture and give me an estimate) I had questions about wrapping everything, but he said he didn't need to come. He asked for a list and gave me a price. I spoke about having the wardrobe boxes and he said he had them. I told him I had a couple heavy items and wanted everything wrapped. I told him my main concern was my 64 inch television flat screen, and he said he would wrap them. He assured me, but I still felt uneasy but trusted him. I also included that I had plants. at first he said no, they couldn't move them, but changed his mind because I wasn't moving out of state. I gave that list of things that needed to be moved (75+ boxes). I called back a few more times to ask about how many wardrobe boxes and he said I got 10. I said "don't I get a contract" and he said no he would contact me the day before the move. I was concerned about breakage on things and he reassured me. He said things would be wrapped, and they were by the other guys. 3 guys showed up, EJ was the leader, or foreman. He spoke to me and kept reassuring me and said "I can tell you haven't moved" and I assured him I had, but things end up broken or missing, and he kept telling me to calm down and that I worry too much. They wrapped everything, and I noticed that they didn't pay attention to detail when wrapping. There were blankets that were heavier than others. Why would you take a heavy blanket and wrap a nightstand, and a lighter blanket used on a glass cabinet? It didn't make sense, but they had to use several of the light blankets, so I thought that was a bit unprofessional. He had a small truck, and I told him it wouldn't fit, but he said it would. I told him I needed 10 wardrobe boxes and lots of blankets bc everything needed to be wrapped. He said Mr. Lord didn't communicate that I had nice stuff and and it would all need to be wrapped. He said Mr. Lord was older and forgets, and they would have to go back to pick up the wardrobe boxes. I asked why all three would need to leave, and so one guy went and the other two started wrapping stuff. Then they started moving the stuff. When they got here, the boxes were all here and labled (fragile, glass, living room, kitchen, etc.) When they put the boxes in the new place, they put some of them where they belonged. I told them I wanted my dresser centered, and I felt like they were rushing, even before they got here. At the end of packing up the old place they were rushing. The truck was obviously too small because they couldn't take my plants. I had to hire another company on top of that and pay them $100 to move my plants. Lords Moving was able to get the patio set in there, but not my plants. I had to hire someone else. I also had the same guy that did that for me center the dresser where Lord's employees did not. THey just plopped it in there, too close to the desk. The recliner had to go right next to the sofa, so EJ comes in and asked the guys 'who put that there?' I spoke up and told him that's where it needed to go because there were boxes everywhere. I had to move boxes from the livingroom into the bedroom becuase they were in a rush. They started unwrapping stuff and I had to have other people come in and move furniture where it belongs. I had reason to believe it was not going to go right, and sure enough while they're unwrapping, he pulls out and Angie's List review form and asked me to fill it out. I felt very pressured to give a good review but in reality, I did not like what they did. They had a small truck, I had to tell them what to do and I was very nervous. I filled it out and they left. That's when I started unwrapping. They caught me off guard that I didn't say to them "I dont' fill this out until afterwards" and just felt off guard that they asked me to fill it out. The price was fine, I was expecting to pay $1000, but and I'm fine with that if the company does a good job. They never even went over with me what happens if something breaks. They were very vague about what would be covered if something broke. I had items that were priceless to me that were broken. They didnt' have an air ride truck, and this is why things broke. Obviously the truck was too small becuase they must have put something on that wooden file cabinet and the top is crushed down so I have to get a new one. Obviously they put something too heavy on that. A glass that held feathers broke, I threw it out, a heart shaped plate broke, there were scratches on furniture, and a one of a kind horse statue. They couldn't have wrapped everything. I don't like the fact that they pulled out that form and waited until I filled it out to leave. I don't like the way everything was done.

I can't say enough for all the guys who worked hard & made this horrible process OK. They are the best & so is Lord's moving. Thank you God!!

I am not easy to impress! I have to say this crew is so incredible! They are professional, work so well together, quick, pay very close attention to detail and are very careful with what they are packing. They protect the furniture with blankets, tape and shrink wrap! Watching them was impressive - not to mention they are courteous and respectful to the client and to each other. I cannot say enough about the wonderful efficient job that they did for us. Also, they do not waste anytime. I HIGHLY recommend LORD'S MOVING located in Lake Worth Florida. EJ was punctual, professional and totally customer service oriented. His support team was excellent and friendly while being accommodating. Junior, Bernard and Alonzo were very professional.

They were supposed to pick up my furniture 4/11/14 at 2:00. They did not call. They did not show up. Jack, the owner, called 2 days later and said "when are we supposed to pick up your furniture?" It was critical that they picked up my furniture on 4/11/14 and I was in a very difficult position.

$650.00 was the quoted price ended up being more. They broke some things and the movers were about to fight, loud, cursing very unprofessional. They said items would be replaced or repaired but never heard back from them.

The crew was diligent and professional. I would use them again.

They were sitting on our furniture and they scraped some of our furniture. They need to work on their personnel and crews. They also put a red bull in our freezer which my wife didn’t appreciate. They also wanted about 15% more than the price we agreed on once they were done with the move. They sent too many people out to help with the move. The movers were nice and polite.

Dr Jack Stone took my order. Mel and his crew of three arrived on time. Early actually. They took apart beds, expertly moved my expensive and valueable Bombe Chests, moved dozens of boxes that I unexpectedly had to add after making my appointment. Dr. Stone gave me an estimate and kept to it. I moved to a highrise condo with many many strict rules and they adhered to all of them. The movers were so nice and courteous and did more than originally asked to do. Everyone I worked with at Lord's Moving went above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend them for thier reliability, price, promptness and overall performance. If your looking for expert movers, this is should be your company of choice. I'm not sure why he didn't let me know he wasn't available from the beginning, because he knew the approximate dates and location before he asked me for more details of the move. He was very unprofessional in the emails.
