A lot of communication prior to the move. The team was on time, courteous, fast moving. Outstanding all around.

It went great! They called ahead of time and asked if ok to come 1/2 hour early. 3 gentlemen, Prince, Melvin, & Ralph came and wrapped the furniture better than when we moved from CT with a large chain moving company. Very polite!

I did a lot of research on moving companies and also received I think about 10 different quotes. They ranged from $490 to $1400 for a simple move 6 miles away. I also checked out all the moving companies on the Florida association websites to make sure they were licensed, complaints, etc. This helped me to weed out a few. Trust me there were those that were not licensed that had fake and reversed numbers in their licenses that they had on their website. Be wary about those that constantly call and email you after you request a quote. I came across Lords Moving Co and also checked out their reviews. I decided to go with them. They did not nickle/dime you with blankets, padding, size of truck , amount of men per hour, etc... You will not receive, or atleast I did not an itemized invoice via email. Dr. Jack (owner) sent me a plain email with the price quote. Perhaps because I had given him an itemized list of what I needed to move. I received a flat rate for the move. Was I nervous that that I would be charged more? Yes. Was I nervous that the truck would disappear after it left my house? Yes. Was I nervous that things would get damaged? Yes. The day of the move they called and wanted to come an hour early however I was not ready for them. They showed up exactly at the time I needed them. Each mover introduced themselves and shook my hand. They all addressed me as "yes Ma'am" all day long. Very polite and considerate. These guys busted their you know what. They worked non stop. They knew what they were doing. Did not stop for breaks or lunch. The truck did not get lost along the way. They did not stop for lunch. I was so impressed with them and this company. Everything went smoothly. No walls or furniture were damaged. The only thing that broke was a cable on my bicycle (not a biggie) They only asked for the amount I was quoted and not a penny more. They were so great I gave them a wonderful tip, more than I thought I would. They deserved it. I would definitely use them again . I had even referred them to someone else who has moved several times with big name movers. She said they were the best movers she ever experienced.

The pricing was great, very competitive. The guys who came out were relatively nice, but a couple of my items arrived damage (fixable and minor) but my entertainment console (which was cheap anyway) was completely broken in transit. They did the job and they did it reasonably well, aside from the damaged items but I suppose it is an often occurrence. Next time, I would rather pay a little more for movers who are more careful if I had really expensive pieces to move.

On time and reasonably priced. Polite and conscientious.

Before ordering a deal, make sure that they can actually show up on the exact date.

1) I was asked to give a list of the items to be moved 3 times by different people - Communication is horrible. 2) They did not come on time and when I called I was to call a second number and then the driver who raised his voice over the phone when I responded to his question that I already gave the list of items that needs to be moved. He was nicer when I met him in person though. 3) Every time I talk to someone they ask if I am going to pay cash or credit card and when I say I already paid via Angies List, confusion usually starts. 4) They did not cover many of my furniture (e.g. couch and recliners) so they were poring sweat on it and I am so disgusted with that. 5) When arrived at destination, I told them they don't have to reassemble the bed and I can do it but they also (without asking and I did not notice until they left) did not reassemble the dresser (mirror to the chest) and I kept looking for the the screws and could not find them. I went to multiple home depot stores and could not find the screws that hold the mirror to the chest. Still trying to find a way to fix the dresser (may need to go a furniture repair store because the dresser screws are not easy to find). 6) They took away a three piece desk that did not tolerate the move (was already broken) and I was happy with that. 7) They didn't have enough space in the truck so I had to cram my sedan car with small items including the 47 inches TV. 8) At the end, I gave them generous tip ($200) not because they did a good job. It is only because they were very exhausted and did not have any energy for my move and I felt bad.

From the moment we did ou research, through our reservation with Dr. Jack through Moving Day with Waylon and Anthony, Lord's Moving was first-rate. Fairly priced, timely responses, on-time service and friendly and effective Movers. Waylon and Anthony listed to our concerns during their 'recon' and took very special care of our very special 'stuff'. In reality, they took very special care of all our stuff, shrink wrapping everything and ensuring that all screws and stuff were properly secured - important stuff when it comes out of long-term storage. Upon delivery to our Storage Unit, everything was safely stacked with room to spare. Outstanding job from start to finish!

Communication was good up to the day of the move. Move was scheduled for 10:00 AM. I spoke to Jack morning of the move and he advised movers would be at storage unit around noon. He also requested address again which was emailed a couple of times. Approximately 30 minutes later a person contacts me to ask for address. I explained I just gave it to Jack and he informed me they would be out at noon. Person on line pauses then says truck is on its way and it will be there around 10:00 AM. At approximately 9:45 AM another person contacts me to ask for address and wants to know if I will be paying cash. When I explain I planned on paying by check they ask if I can pay some of it in cash because they need money to fuel up truck for another move after mine. He also tells me that will be leaving soon and arrive in about 45 minutes. I hang up and leave a message for Jack, he does not return my call. I call back the original gentlemen that contacted me and advise him of the cash request and that truck did not even leave yet. He tells me that he was under the impression that the truck was on its way and will check into it. About 10 minutes later I get another call from a different guy to confirm address and promise they will be on road shortly and plan to arrive around 11;30 AM. Truck finally arrives at 11:30 AM. Movers are nice but use inappropriate language for a company claiming to be a Christian organization. Items are moved out of storage successfully but early into emptying truck one of the movers hits wall in apartment damaging drywall. Movers assure me they will have it repaired. They said someone will contact me the next day to schedule patch work. They even write it on the receipt. I wait two days with no contact then call Jack and email him. The man who was so quick to respond to all my emails prior to the move all of a sudden does not know how to return email or a phone call. Weeks have gone by and no word from Lord's Moving. Lastly, the movers were very persistent in trying to get me to complete an Angie's List review form so they can bring it back to the office. They said there boss needs the form completed. I said I would do it online. He asked a couple of more times if I could complete on the spot but I declined and said I would do it later. Perhaps this is why they have many positive reviews, not sure. But can certainly be intimidating for some to have movers standing over your shoulder asking for you to provide a review of their service.

They stole a blackberry. Whenever I call in, they hang up on me as well.

4 men were on time - accommodating respectful hard working completed job as promised.

Not the quality I expected based on reviews. 4 men came and worked very fast, do fast not open to much dialogue or direction. Truck was too small and required a quick second trip. At destination, again worked too quickly. One worker crammed a chair thru a door tearing up paint on garage entry door and I later found damage to paint in master bedroom. They did not offer to set up televisions, in out sign papers bye

This is the letter that was sent to Lords Moving to request that things be make right. To Jack and Andre of Lords Moving, August 25, 2014 Lord’s moving completed a move for me on 8/31/2014. The crew did arrive on time at my apartment complex and began to work right away. I was not available during the first two hours of the move since I was at the closing of my new home. My son called me from the apartment to let me know that the $490 that was quoted was now $575. This was not a problem since I realized that it was a lot of work, however he also told me that they would not start the job unless I promised to pay them another $300. I was now in an awkward position since I needed to move out that day and had to agree to the demand. When I arrived, they had already completed most of the first part of the move. One of the gentlemen who had the paperwork wanted the money at the end of the first half of the move. I gave him the coupon that was prepaid for on Angie’s list for $488 and another $300 in cash. He proceeded to tell me the coupon that was purchased from Angie’s list was not valid and wanted me to pay him another $488 dollars. I insisted that Dr. Jack was the one who told me about the coupon and that it was paid for by credit card. After going back and forth for a few minutes he finally took it. If that wasn’t enough, the second half of the move got worse. Before we left the apartment they informed me that the truck was full and we still had more things. I allowed them to put the remaining items in our two cars so that they could finish the job. When they arrived at my new home they were really careless. It was then that I realized that they did not cover my furniture so that it all got soiled. My couch was ripped in the back from them pushing it through a screen door. My new leather chair got torn. Another leather chair was also torn. Bookcase glass was broken since the glass doors were not secured shut. A dining room chair has a bent leg and a damaged skirt. All of the dining room chairs are soiled since they were not covered. They left a chest of drawers on the patio outside and I had to call them back to move it inside. After they left I found my end table and kitchen table glass on the lawn. Oh yes, and they broke the end ball off my foot post on my bed. My furniture is not cheap and they were throwing it around with absolutely no respect for my property. To make matters worse my son and I had to take his bed apart and put it back together, after I’d gone to Home Depot to purchase new bolts holding the bed together, since they lost the pieces during the move. This was not a good experience, but what is really getting me upset is that I have not had anyone begin the process of correcting the damage that was done. I have contacted Andre and Jack several times to no avail. I would like the damage taken care of and fixed as well as my furniture cleaned and back to the condition they found it in. I assumed that Lord’s Moving was a reputable company and would like your company to stand behind its word. Please have someone contact me to arrange for repairs and cleaning. I have contacted both of you several times in the last three weeks by phone as well as text. I would like to submit a claim for the damage and have the repairs done. That is all I ask, and I have not received any paperwork for a claim or even a proper response. I am delivering this letter by regular mail and text to Andre and Dr. Jack as well as the Better Business Bureau. Regards, Arlene Treslar

They were great to accommodate us on short notice. They went above and beyond as they found a crew that could help us on a Sunday. Three good workers, the lead worker was exceptional and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend!

Everyone was very polite and hard working. The team was very concerned about working within the quoted time constraints and keeping us happy. Only very minor mishaps not worth reporting (other than this...). I would highly recommend the folks and would use them again in the future.

Never had a better moving company. the owner is very laid back and at times I thought he was too laid back,,,, however once we got to the day it was excellent service , nice people and enthusiastic workers who never stopped all the time they were here... Dr. Stone was courteous and direct. Offered and delivered on promised price. Crew was prompt despite my initial unavailability. Smooth move, professional and efficient. Would use them again.
