+ -1 more: Michael Wright was excellent to work with. Both he and Josh Armogum were responsive to our needs in terms of timing and concerns about the overall job. The work was finished very quickly. It was done on schedule and exactly as they said it would be. The crew was very professional and courteous. They cleaned up all clutter and debris that resulting from a total roof replacement. They were also extremely mindful of our shrubs, decking and other areas that were close to the work site. We would highly recommend them to others. Michael Wright helped us through the insurance process and worked well with the insurance adjuster. Their work is of the highest quality. We are very pleased with the results and would use them again without question.

Description of Work: DGA Roofing provided invaluable help for my 90 year old mother-in-law who's house was damaged by a severe Birmingham storm, 4/29/11. The insurance company sent her a check to replace the roof, and replace a six foot privacy fence, which were both lost in the storm. An out-of-town, persuasive roofing company quickly took advantage of the situation. They talked this very vulnerable and trusting senior lady to give them ALL THE INSURANCE MONEY, up front, and did not do a lick of work FOR SIX MONTHS after the loss. The owner of DGA Roofing had seen such opportunists exploit elderly home owners on the heels of this big Birmingham storm event. Being eager to restore honesty to practitioners in his profession, Josh Armogum provided coaching to get the out-of-town roofer to actually earn the insurance money he had taken. DGA Roofing did a pro-bono inspection of the materials being used, and DGA also inspected the completed job--right up to the ridge vent (checked from inside the attic). During the course of this inspection, it became evident that the roof replacement could have been completed with far more professionalism, more responsiveness, and in sustantially less time by DGA Roofing. They and their well supervised crews know the roofing business. They came to the aid of a trusting and helpless 90 year old lady to avoid further exploitation. Their concern for people in he Community, and their concern for standards of honesty and performance in the roofing business is worth highliting for members of Angie's List in Birmingham. Robert P.
