Buckeye Plumbing

The first experience I had with this company was excellent so I called them out a second time. The second time I used them I felt overcharged. They practically did no work. The labor charge was unreal. He wasn't here for more than five minutes. All he did was get out a wrench and tighten nuts on the vales. I haven't used them since.

Paul was wonderful and did his best to find a leak in my elderly mother's kitchen. He went above and beyond cutting pipe and putting on pressure valves. He was courteous, prompt and diligent. He insisted on walking me through every step of his work. But he never found the leak. It was actually my brother-in-law that replaced a toilet and the leak stopped. In his defense, Paul said he had exhausted all options and his only last guess was the toilet. He was right. Paul is the reason I would use Buckeye again. I found the ladies, and there are many, that run the phones polite, but at times, unprofessional. They were often rushed, hard to hear due to their background noise, and often took down notes that were incorrect. Such as, my cell became my mother's home number and my home number became my cell. Too many calls from too many employees. I spoke to Claudia, Tanesha, and at least two other girls. Again, all polite, but rushed and not the most polished. My concern is this, should I have paid $1,000 in labor and parts for services that rendered no results? I understand that in Paul's efforts to seek out a leak, he worked hard and he had to cut, soder, and replace. Should Buckeye have a policy that if they can't make the repair, then no charge? I have to say that Paul worked much harder than $1,000 and that has given me comfort for paying for something that didn't get fixed. GIve PAUL a raise. He's the only reason I didn't blow a gasket. Also, Claudia informed me on the 4th and final visit, that a service charge of $90-something would be applied. I told her that would be odd since all of Paul's equipment was in my Mom's kitchen so why should I have to pay for him to retrieve his valves? The service charge did not happen. So, Buckeye means chaotic phone service, diligent plumbers, and policies that might need to be reevaluated.

He arrives promptly and assessed the problem. He did not have the part so he left to get one. When he got back he installed the new hose and the problem was solved. Thanks!

They came out very promptly, determined what the problem was and fixed it, under warranty. My wife then innocently asked if they could replace a bathroom faucet aerator, which he did. We were astounded that the company charge for this was $114.57, which was reduced to 99.22. In all of our online searching for Moen bathroom sink aerators, the prices ranged from $8 to $22. My wife called the company numerous times, trying to get clarification on the charge, but was met with rudeness and a general lack of caring. This comes after generally positive experiences (a previous toilet repair took at least 4 visits, and me eventually speaking with the owner or manager before a senior repair person was able to diagnose the problem, WITHOUT having to replace the toilet, which is what the previous three service guys had suggested. As it turns out, it was a minor water level issue).

He did a very good job fixing an old sink that has out of date parts that required some clever work to find a way to replace the rusted pipe that had a hole in it. I am very satisfied with the results.

I'm only in town for a short while to get my property ready for rental and needed a rapid response. I called at 0900 and was given an appt. the same day between 1600 and 1800. Paul showed up at about 1700. He was courteous and quick.

Great customer service , Tech was on time and worked very clean. the issue was the pricing way to expensive after i did a little homework . my heater was down and needed to get it done

He used a snake and made adjustments to flush better.

Prompt, efficient, professional service from the first phone call thru replacing and installing a new water heater. Serviceman, Jim, was extremely knowledgeable and professional and happy to answer any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends. Thank you.

They told me they would be out at a specific time. I waited all day. They never showed up or responded to our call.

One the first visit gentlemen was on time and did his checking of what he thought the problem was, told me what the repair was and the cost and was given the go ahead. Upon the removal of the first heating unit, he discovered that it was working fine and there was nothing wrong with it. I decided considering the age of the parts to have them replaced. Job done. Next time I used the hot water it was not as hot as the old units, which were set at factory settings were keeping the water. I recalled and set up another appointment asking for the same technician. A different plumber arrived, late, and with no knowledge that I had asked for the same guy. He went about turning up the settings on the heater to whatever he thought it should be without asking. Secondly when queried why a new unit works less in the heat area than an older one his answer was :"I don't know". Not quite the answer you expect from a so called trained professional. I called their office after he left and spoke to their Office Manager who said that the reason I did not get the same person was he had an Emergency. I understand however why not call me and give me the option to wait for or reschedule to get the man that I want. Next she tried to explain the heating issue to me. With all due respect I am sure she has picked up a lot of knowledge while working there but to me it would have been much better to say let me get my Master Plumber on the line and he can explain it to you. She did however have the first tech call me later and we talk however this was not handled with the customer in mind.

Our water heater stopped putting out hot water and they scheduled a service call immediately - very prompt and nice office staff. Service tech was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Water heater was top quality (better than the previous one) and we are happy with so much more hot water. The new heater was very expensive (including permits), but it seems to be the norm for that size and type. We considered doing it ourselves and are glad we hired Buckeye instead. Start to finish it took him 2 hours. We also have a toilet that runs, but the service guy was really honest and said we can save a little money and handle that part ourselves after he looked at it. Just a broken handle and a worn valve.

I woke up at 6:45 am to find my water heater leaking. I called Buckeye and by 8:30 am a repairman arrived. My 10 year old water heater needed to be replaced. The repairman had to go to the warehouse and get the right unit. He returned, replaced it and finished by noon the same day.

1. The repair took two visits. They tried to snake and repair the toilet but it didn't work. They didn't have a camera at the time and said they would have to come back, pull out the toilet and examine the line. They were able to repair it on the second time but of course we had to pay for two visits. We were quite satisfied with the repair. 2. However, we had two other toilets with problems. One wasn't working and they weren't able to get the parts without waiting for months they said. They knew it was a higher end brand, but weren't sure which one it was. The other toilet had a minor leak so we decided to replace both toilets at the same time. We tried numerous times to get someone to come out and help us choose the proper toilets for installing with the least amount of remodeling (tile, wall paper etc.). We couldn't get anyone to come out and after multiple phone calls a salesman called my husbands cellphone & finally gave us a price of two Toto units. But he gave no model numbers and no help for what they would look like, measurements etc. We called again to find out more information and no one returned our calls. We finally went with another plumbing company willing to come out and work with us and we have been very satisfied with the other company.

Excellent. The service technician was punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient, and at this point, appeared to solve the problem, and he did so for the minimal price. Very honest, as they have been in my other dealings.

They were great. They were extremely well informed and pointed out every issue with the plumbing. I felt like I learned a lot when they were here. They were very positive.

They changed a faucet in my kitchen sink and they did a very good job.

It all went well. It was more involved than the plumber expected and that seemed to annoy him at first. Making an appointment was a breeze. The day of, someone from the company called to let me know how the day was going-giving me a more exact time when I could expect someone at my house. After the work was done, there was a follow up call the next day. :-) We are pleased with everything that was done for us. He was certainly neat & efficient, cleaned up everything AND we love all our new things!

Called Buckeye plumbing, Schedule a appointment for 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Buckeye called a 2:30 saying plumber on way and arrived 30 min. later. Found problem and had parts on truck, Repaired and gone in 45 min. Great service.

Very helpful overall. Fixed what I asked quickly and gave me general tips about good plumbing practices. Was willing to give me tips to fix small problems myself.

They've done good work for me. I've never had any problems. They call you after to make sure things are still working.

They did a very good job considering it was complicated.

Overall, it was a pleasure. Everyone I came into contact with was very nice and professional. The office staff kept me informed regarding the arrival of the plumbers and their follow-up after the job was appreciated. I can recommend them strongly.

Jackie in the office took my call and answered all my questions. The tech was able to come 2 hrs earlier than promised and was friendly and professional. After his work was complete he was able to take a couple minutes to talk to me about a bathtub plumbing issue I have that will need to be repaired sometime in the future. Very pleased with service and results.

Buckeye was very professional, very organized, and did impressive work on a complex job. It took just two plumbers to complete the job in three days. They will be my plumbers of choice for any issues in the future.
