Buckeye Plumbing

After the tech presented me with an estimate of $1730 (assuming my warranty had expired). I thanked him but made no commitment. The following day Buckeye Plumbing contacted me with a final quote of $1730 (approx.) which included my warranty. I declined when I realized the price should have dropped. I then compared prices with other companies and found one (via Angie's List) with a fee of $950, which I hired. When I filed a complaint with Angie's List I was contacted by a Buckeye Plumbing rep who apologized for their tech's mistaken estimate. I was also rewarded a $50 coupon, of which I am most appreciative. The company's attempt to make amends impressed me enough to contact them in the future.

They were very good and very nice. They made every effort to take care of my needs.

Paul did an awesome job. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and even answered some other plumbing-related questions for us. Flat fee pricing is nice -- you don't need to worry about hourly overages.

I was very impressed with Buckeye's level of professionalism. I bought a deal with AngiesList - they responded to me promptly and got he appointment scheduled right away. They were on time and the men who did the work knew what they were doing and were very professional. I needed a very short type of toilet that is not available at Lowe's and Home Depot - they located another provider and went and picked it up there. Totally satisfied with my experience with Buckeye and would use them in the future.

Prompt response to calls. Show up in a reasonable amount of time. Technicians courteous and know what they are doing. Have used Buckeye 3 times.

Poor quality service and parts. When I called them right after they left to say the toilet was running again, they wanted to charge me another service call. They didn't tell me it would cost 200.00 dollars per toilet just to change the parts inside before they did it. That was all they did and poorly at that, they wanted 600.00 dollars.

Everything went great and plumber very efficient and courteous.

My kitchen sink was draining very slowly - it would take all day to empty. I purchased 2 hours of plumbing services through Angies List and called Buckeye the same day. They scheduled me for the next morning (I told them that I did not need same day service). Hugo arrived right on time and went to work on the sink. He was uanable to unclog the sink from inside so he had to go to the roof. Before he went up, he told me that there would be an additional charge for going to the roof, which I appreciated. After about an hour of work both inside the house and outside, Hugo fixed the problem and I can use my kitchen sink again. He was extremely courteous and I will definetly use Buckeye Plumbing in the future!

We were able to get the service the same day. Jack was our technician. He was extremely friendly and competent. He completed the task in less than an hour, and was also able to give us good information on the structure of our sewage system and some tips moving forward. Solved the problem and we couldn't be happier!

The techincian came 20 minutes before 6 PM; already dark. He fixed it in about 30 minutes and was in a hurry to leave. Just before walking out of the door I checked and found the spray head was not putting out enough water, meaning weak spray. Then he decided to remove a small piece of rubber barrier that is inserted inside the shower head to save water. Even after removal, the spray was rather weak. The technician then suggested to buy a new spray head.

Paul was wonderful. He was considerate, thoughtful and came up with a plan that did not involve jack hammering up the kitchen and laundry room concrete floor. The work was done timely and during some bad weather. Paul went the extra distance to eliminate endless solutions until hitting upon the best option for us. Thank you for a job well done. We had a leak in an old toilette so we called Buckeye Plumbing whom we have used in the past for other plumbing in our house. They are always quick to respond and they had a tech at the house the next day. The tech they sent to the house was Bill, and he was amazing. He was very honest, friendly, and his work was extremely thorough and clean. Buckeye Plumbing always does a great job from the girls who answer the phone to their professional technicians. They also always follow up to make sure we are 100% satisfied. Buckeye Plumbing will always be our first call for any of our plumbing needs.

Servicemen were thorough and very neat. Answered all my questions and explained the need for electrical service upgrade. Customer service department followed up several times to insure we were satisfied with their service. I called them several days later to have them install a new commode in our master bathroom . Highly recommend them and will use them for all our plumbing needs.

they did a great job. It was easy to schedule an appointment and they were very prompt and communicative. The person performing the work was very professional and thorough. He ensured I understood everything about what I had purchased.

Buckeye Plumbing did respond quickly to my request for service. The technician Jim was on time. I had purchased a new faucet from Lowe's because the handle on my faucet broke last week. A friend started installing it, but not have the tools to complete it. I went on Angie's List for a plumber. I saw the special listed $75 for $100 worth of work. I purchased this special because I figured completing the job would not take an hour to complete. This job ended up costing me $209.76. Jim was determined to charge me $250 for installing a faucet when the job required less than an hour's worth of work. I was stuck with this company, because Thanksgiving is coming up and I had paid $75.00 on line. If I had not purchased the online coupon, I would have used a different company. I feel taken advantaged of! Furthermore, Jim's handwriting is poor; most of it is illegible. I can't even check the pricing of what he did, because I cannot understand his handwriting. Although, this company responded quickly, I will not be using there service again. Too pricey!

The job was completed quickly

I have a very positive experience. The customer service rep named Janice, did an excellent job for us. I told her about money being tight due to medical issues. She did a very good job looking into any and all discounts she could to make this project possible. Milton was the person who installed it for me. He did an excellent job. He was very courteous and professional when working with us. Milton was the only person to ever tell me that we need to drain the water heater every year due to the hard water that we have. That way we can get the sentiments cleared out and allow the water heater to last longer. These two representatives give Buckeye a great name and makes us want to work with them again. A few days later there was some rust build up from the old water heater and Milton cam e back to clean it up for us. Buckeye followed up with us every step of the way to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Buckeye was also the lowest price of all the quotes that I got. What really makes a company great is their employees. Buckeye defiantly has those type of employees, especially Janice and Milton

The plumber, Weslee Spring, was polite and very professional. He explained everything that he was doing and even pointed out issues that may be of concern in the future. He was very instrumental in helping me obtain a new Moen Kitchen sink faucet at no charge. I would definitely recommend Buckeye plumbing.

The fix was very fast and with minor inconvenience to me. I have to call a handyman to repair the sheetrock but I expected that. They were quick to respond and very professional. Other than the wall they had to cut into, you would not know that they were here. I would highly recommend them.

Buckeye Plumbing is the best plumber you will ever find in Palm Beach County. Their work is superior quality, they use the highest quality components and materials, and they are extremely knowledgeable. And they're very customer oriented, they explain problems and offer solutions and answer questions. I just paid about $1,000 for a new water heater and installation in an upstairs condo I just bought. According to Angie's List this is exactly what a water heater should cost in this area so Buckeye was right on the money. The installation was a lot of work, the plumber (Milton) worked from 8:00am until about 2:00pm. The space was very tight and the existing plumbing was 30 years old. The old water heater was so dilapidated it was a miracle that it hadn't completely fallen apart spewing water all over. My new water heater looks great and works great and will last for the next 10-12 years and I'm so happy! I disagree with the previous reviewer who complained that Buckeye is expensive, I personally don't mind paying for high quality dentistry and plumbing - you get the best because you're willing to pay for it and that's what they charge for. Buckeye Plumbing is the real deal! I'm calling them for a new drinking water filtration system installation as soon as I finish this review. Call Buckeye, get the best.

The service did not turn out very good. They came out and one of the items I needed fixed, they were not able to fix on the first day. Then, we scheduled a second visit to come out according to the technician that told what needed and the day before the service, they told me that they could not move my appliance so they could not do it. I felt completely misled by them. When I got the coupon, I was led to believe that they would be contacting me and they did not. I had to contact them. I would tell a friend or a neighbor that was looking for similar service not to use them.

Called Friday morning to schedule an appointment to check on repeated clogged toilet in rental unit. Was able to schedule next day and also purchased a coupon for $75.00 for $100.00 worth of plumbing repairs. Plumber called me from location to discuss what issues were there and what to do going forward. Coupon selection was recommended by Buckeye as their best deal. Mistakenly purchased another coupon through Angies List. Called to get refund on that and should be processed shortly. Buckeye called on Monday to follow up to ensure I got the refund for incorrect coupon purchase. Also called Angies List to follow up. Very nice over the phone, helpful, prompt professional. Would use again and recommend. Thanks.

Paul came out twice to check on the heater.. made a follow up appointment to do the job. He was professional, on time and clean..and he even played with my dog!! I replaced a 14 yo water heater, that was under my air handler for my AC unit..it was a big job. I will def call Buckeye if I need any more plumbing work in the future.
