Description of Work: Manny who works for Aztil came out to fix my air conditioner. The water was backing up from the outside into my house . It was all clogged up and he cleared it. He was there within a half hour so I was thrilled with that because my house was flooding. Manny also went out of his way to fix another small problem I had with the outside hose for the water to flow out of the air conditioner which was sticking up off the ground. It needed to be clasped down and he needed a clasp but didn't have it with him. He said he would come back with it the next day and fix it. He did come back the next day and fixed it. I decided to sign a 5 year contract with the company because I felt he was very reliable. Thank you Manny!

Description of Work: I used them for my hvac system.

Description of Work: My a/c unit died and this company came to replace it. It took two weeks to get them out to fix this. I had difficulty communicating with their technicians. I trusted them when they installed the new unit. I had trouble with the unit and asked for them to come take a look at it. When I was unable to answer the door, I found the technician halfway into my home I quickly sent him away.

Description of Work: Had condensation coming out of secondary drain. Repair person came, diagnosed cause as clogged primary drain, so he, supposedly, unblocked it. However, secondary drain started dripping again after a couple of hours, but in a steady stream. Called Aztil after hours support and second person showed up. We told him the problem and who did the work earlier in the day. The person then started complaining about how old the original person was, how he doesn't finish his work, and how his work has to be redone. This second person then climbed into the attic to diagnose (again) the problem and fix it. After a while, he came down from the attic and proclaimed the entire AC system needed to be replaced due to corrosion and worn out parts. Our current system had been installed in 2007 and, according to him,was out of warranty and, besides, parts are no longer available for our model. He wrote an estimate for $5080 to replace the system and to do it all on the following Monday. We said okay and he left, but we were both nagged by some doubt. During the course of a casual phone conversation, our friend recommended an independent HVAC guy, whom we immediately called for a second opinion. We called Aztil to put the replacement on hold. Aztil called back and said they'd be glad to provide a second opinion, which we declined. As it turns out, Aztil never unclogged the line and was trying to sell us an unneeded new system. Our independent guy said he's had nothing but bad experiences with Aztil, many of which involved needless system replacements. He told us never to let them near our home again. He unclogged the line and the system has been working perfectly ever since.
