The service was good. He came when scheduled and it was the same guy both times. He was very courteous and took his shoes off. He seemed very honest and he made me comfortable with his presentation. He explained things along the way as well.

Serviceman was fast and effecient.

Came to our home on a Saturday, checked air conditioning system, diagnosed problem and replaced broken motor all in the same visit. Fabulous service and now our air conditioner works great! Amazing!

Very professional. Very knowledgeable staff. Repairman examined the unit inside and out, outlined the problem, and showed me how to set the thermostat properly. He assured me that though the unit is older, it is working well.

The service call went as i expected. Overall, i have found after 2 sdrvice calls that this company's technicians are well trained, sensitive to a demanding customer's needs and thorough in getting the job done to solve the problem. I will be using this company for all my A/C work in the foreseeable future.

Starting in June, we had a problem where refrigerant needed to be added. A&H didn't quite know what the problem was. It was determined it was a leak, but the location of the leak was unknown. Our house got warm again in September, and still the location of the leak couldn't be found. Glen said they just purchased a more sophisticated leak detector, and they would be by to see if they could find the leak. They found the leak. Our coil was under warranty (A&H installed our unit in fall of 2009). Since they had trouble finding our leak, they offered to not charge us labor. We just paid for the refrigerant and our preventative maintenance services, $180. The service call in June (2 lbs refrigerant plus 1 hr. 45 min trip and labor) was $150. We are happy with the way everything went. We were aware that some leaks are hard to detect, so we were not surprised that the leak was difficult to find.

This was a sunday call. I noticed the house getting hot during the dolphins game and e-mailed the company from the list. The tech got back to me right away and let me know of the weekend up-charges before coming out. We agreed and he was here within 1/2 hour. He checked the system inside and out and go the unit running. He cleaned the drain lines, charged the unit, and did maintenence check-up. When I told him about the coupon, he said he would give it to the office monday because they were closed. I got a call from the office monday morning asking how the job went and they let me know that they would indeed honor the coupon.I couldn't be happier with their service. The tech was really very nice, and I will use them for future repairs and anual check-ups. It is hard to get honest help in south florida, this company is one of the good ones.

Overall it went good, but the labor charge was on the higher side.

After 5:00pm I noticed my unit was not cooling. I found A & H Services thru Angies List. They had closed at 4:30pm, but the recording said for emergency service leave a message. They called me back in about 10 minutes. Richard said he would be here in 30 minutes and he WAS. He worked for more than an hour up on the roof (7:00 pm). Fixed my AC and gave me great advice for the future. I would reccomend A & H Services to everybody and anyone I meet.

We have a 2 zone system-in a house that is 13 yrs old. We were having minor repairs to keep the units running. A neighbor (who works as a a/c tech..said the units "were in the senior years fo the life). Called A&H (Peter) and another Angies List high rated a/c company. Both came out right away. Got prices from both. Peter from A&H gave best price. Each a/c unit & air handler took almost a whole day. Had one replaced one day, the other a couple of days later. Peter was very good on explaining the features. No upsell pressure. We picked a mid priced unit. Installers were right on time both days. Pleasant, professional etc. Cleaned up all debris etc.

Joe arrived on time. He was very courteous, and got to work immediately. He eplained the system to my husband and I. He took the filter down to the first floor to wash it out and replaced it. He also checked our heating unit. All in all we were extremely happy with this service and will definetly use them for maintaining our air conditioning and heating in Palm beach.

They never let me down the service, professionalism and the costs. As a single parent I trust them to not rip me off!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I highly recommend them. They showed a professionalism that is rare in today's age. They all knew what they were doing. Their price was very fair.

IFull maintenance service with minor repair.

Excellent. A & H was the only company to offer to replace my 13 year old Goodman condenser unit outside without insisting on a total system replacement. My inside Goodman a/c air handler is still working just fine. The old unit had a compressor failure and needed replaced. I'm very impressed with A & H.

The service person arrived and, at first, could not locate our air handlers which are located in the attics of the house. The repair person told me that there were no filters in our units. I told him that this could not be because they had been checked previously. He then found each air handler and confirmed that there were, indeed, filters that needed to be changed. He informed me that our bedroom unit needed freon and that this would cost 400.00 and he could not guarantee that it would not leak out the next day. Within one week after the service, the bedroom unit stopped working. We called this company for service and we were told that a service person WOULD NOT come out unless we agreed to install the freon at 400.00 with no guarantee of success. I asked if after the service call it was determined that the freon levels had nothing to do with the malfunction, would we still have to fill the freon and the person said YES. I called another company from Angie's List, they came out within two hours, found the problem (it was a wiring problem), checked the compressor and advised that the freon level was not critically low and did not have to be replaced.

Call for service around 4:45PM. Left message Got called back about 20 minutes later, the tech told me he was on another call but needed to go and get a part for that customer that he would be at my house in about 2 hrs. Got called that he was at the Gate, it was 7:00Pm. He introduced himself and asked what the prblem was, I explainned. He went to the unit outside the house made me start the A/C and found the problem in a few minutes, changed the part and at 7:30pm my A/C was back to work. When service was done he was writing up the bill I told him I had a discount coupon from Angie's List and he did give me a rebate I was very happy with the service and the friendly attitude of the technician.

They did a great job. They service was very good.

Went very well and service was fast. Noticed leaking air handler late Sunday night, of course. Needed to have someone come over as soon as possible on Monday to address issue. Called them at 8:10 am and they had someone at my house at 9:00 a.m. Problem identified and fixed by 10:00 a.m.

I called A&H because of the Angie's List rating. The first service was performed on my dying 15 year old A/C unit at my home - an apartment in a 40 year old building. The technician knocked himself out trying to get my unit to live longer than required by reason. I so appreciated his efforts as I was in no position to afford a new a/c unit. As it turned out there was no getting around it. I needed a new unit. A&H really worked with me on the price, incorporating the Angie's List coupon and putting the service call charge toward the purchase price, which they really did not have to do - that was a total gift from them. The technician, John, could not have been more polite, professional and reassuring. I was completely confident that he did everything in his power to make my a/c unit last as long as possible. He really didn't have to do that. He could have just written it off as 'lady, are you kidding?' A&H arrived when they said they would, John installed the new unit without incident. I thought it would take all day, it took only a couple of hours. Who are these people? Are they magicians? After the unit was installed my building decided to install a new chiller on the roof which meant they had to flush the lines. I live on the second floor of a 19 floor building & was concerned the line flush would effect my new unit. I spoke with Glen, the owner expressing my concern and he had John return after the chiller installation and double check my unit to make certain all was in order - at NO CHARGE. Again, who are these people? Could they please train the rest of the service community? I am so appreciative of their service I will recommend them to everyone - and I know a lot of people - my husband and I used to have a property management business. Also there are 192 units in my building...so, thank you, thank you, A&H for your superior service and thank you, Angie's List for being an outstanding resource.

My thermostat had gone out. I am self-employed in a start-up business & currently my budget is very tight. I did not want to have to pay for a service & installation call for the thermostat and then pay for a double call for the annual inspection of my main house & back cottage. A&H was very understanding about this, and agreed to install the thermostat for free as part of the inspection since they would be doing two units on the same call. As it turned out, my capacitor was out also, which they replaced at a fair price. I was given the freon top-off at no charge.

I wondered why A&H's rating was so high. After one visit, I now understand. This is the company I will be calling for any A/C issues at my home.Good job guys!

Our a/c was on the fritz. It wasn't coming/staying on consistently, no matter how low we set the thermostat. I called around 8am and had a technician at my door by 11. After (what seemed to me) a very thorough inspection, the tech was sure it was a drainage problem. The pipe was too narrow for the condensation to drain fast enough, causing the a/c to "turn off" while the water slowly drained. He cleaned the pipe and advised a condensation pump was needed. He was right on the money. Though the a/c switched back on after the cleaning, it switched "off" again in the time it took him to go get the pump and return. By 1:30pm the a/c was running full blast and a month later there hasn't been a single problem since. The tech was helpful, polite and took the time to explain the problems and solution. He even noticed my machine was making a strange hum that he thought we should keep an eye on. He didn't try to "hard sell" me any further repairs but took the time to call the manufacturer and find out that the unit was still under warranty for another few months. If he hadn't mentioned it, we'd have had no idea since we only recently bought our house. He may end up saving us some money if the a/c's on its last leg. I joined Angie's List just to find an A/C tech, being new to the area. I'm really glad I did.

They were very professional, courteous, on time and did a great job with the installation. It was somewhat of a complicated project because of the configuration of the old unit. Everything went good and works well. The main thing was that everyone that I dealt with was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable.
