It was GREAT! Everything went as promised and the install / build team was outstanding. Ours was a custom build and 2 other companies we previously contacted could not figure out how to make it work. I was about to give up and do without a screen room. Fortunately I found Housman's.

Housemans has worked for us three times and we trust them. If you've ever had experience with the competition then you'll really appreciate Houseman. Due to weather their workload and scheduling makes it difficult to say absolutely what day they'll be there. After using a couple other screen repair companies I'm ok with Houseman being a little wiggly on scheduling. Face it, having workers out on your pool cage in blistering July Florida sun is not a fun job, keeping the crew motivated and moving is not an easy job. They have always showed up when they said they would or the office lady calls and lets you know it will be the next business day (depending of course on the weather delay). Sometimes, they're out here on the same day because they had workers in the neighborhood, I really appreciate that. Housemans is not cheap but they've never price gouged me, the work they've done for us has lasted and that makes it a good value. I know who I'll call when I have screens out, it's Housemans.

Went great. I called on Friday and made the appointment for Monday morning, 0800-1200. They arrived within the time they said and quickly and professionally fixed our issue. They also have a Military Discount if your services cost $500 or more.

Despite all the good reviews Housman's has on Angie's List, I had a really unprofessional, unresponsive experience with them. I contacted Housman's at the end of June requesting a quote on re-screening my back porch at my vacation home in Melbourne Beach. They replied back saying they will send someone out to provide an estimate and get back to me in short order. Two weeks pass and I hear nothing. I call and speak to a person named Kris. She couldn't tell me why it didn't get done but said she would check with the person responsible and get back to me. Another week passes and nothing. I call and speak with Kris again. She said she remembered our conversation and was going to see the person that day and call me back. That didn't happen. I get a call several days later from someone else at Housman's who said they'd personally make sure it got done. Well, that didn't happen either, so I gave up. It was very disappointing. I then called a non-Angie's List company. This other company came out and gave me a quote the same day and did the work the following week.

Two young technicians came out and worked in awful sun and heat. Did a very good job. Left everything clean and in place. We were pleased.

It went very well, very pleasant experience. The people at the office were excellent, the tech did everything well. I feel the price was very reasonable. I'd give them a five star rating!

They accidently damaged 2 other panels, of which I paid for 1 additional one [at a discount]. As the repairmen were leaving they tore out 2 additional panels and left my gate open. I paid for 1 panel and ended up needing 5 by the time they were done. They did come back the following day to repair the work, but I ended up having to pay more for the job than was originally quoted because of their failures.

Looks good. Very professional. Cleaned up all the mess.

I made an early morning appointment. While making the appointment I was told rather rudely to make sure I called if I could not be home. So, I delayed going to work in order to meet with the estimator. I waited beyond the time of the appointment by an hour. No one showed up. This was an inconvenience to me and a waste of my time.

Punctual estimator with excellent information on process. As usual very fairly priced. Came earlier than expected and worked through bad weather with good humor. Cleaned up very well and were very considerate of my property and the pesky dog.

We love our new screened in patio! Everyone was professional and always prompt from beginning to end. Our estimator Tim even gave us the 5% Angies list discount without me even knowing about it. Whenever I had a question Linda would always have the answer. Would highly recommend.

After my husband contacted 2 other screen companies, one of which never showed up after 2 appointments. I finally checked Angie's List and found Housman's. One call did it. The woman gave me an estimate over the phone after having me describe exactly what we needed done and said the repair person would be out later that week or the next. They would contact me when they knew he was coming and I could leave a check or pay by credit card over the phone. They came within 2 days (earlier than expected!) and the lady called me and said they were done. I mailed them a check and that was it. Truly a miracle after fussing with 2 other companies.

Thank goodness for Housman's! After contacting other screen companies and enduring either no call backs, scheduled appointments and not show (twice from one company!) and getting on the "list" for an estimate but never hearing back, I finally called the right company. Was pleasantly surprised to have Linda actually answer the phone and schedule me an estimate right away, and then have Sean show up when scheduled and gave me several options. When I called back to schedule service Linda was very good at getting me an appointment and Chad and Dave showed up as scheduled and completed the job. Let me just say that everyone that I dealt with was professional and went above and beyond. I think that since I wasn't a total re-screen other companies just didn't want to deal with me, but I won't recommend those companies to anyone. I will recommend Housman's and will be a return customer. Thank you for finally allowing me to have my screened in patio back after the hurricane!

My pool enclosure underwent a total re-screen and total screw replacement. The work took about 3 days because our enclosure is rather large. The workers were skilled and professional and they did an excellent job; the enclosure almost looks like new. They made sure that I was satisfied with the work not only at the end, but also as the job was progressing too. Soon after they cleaned up the job site and left, I got a call from the their work office making sure that I was happy with the results (I was). I would highly recommend Housman's Aluminum & Screening.

I received an estimate from Alex on Oct 28, 2016. He said I would be contacted on Oct 31st to set up a repair time. I didn't hear anything back from them, so on Nov 2, 2016, I called and spoke with Linda. She told me she'd have Alex contact me. It's now Nov 26, 2016, and I've heard nothing from them. This is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! The estimate was for $1200. While that may not seem much to some, at the very least I should have received a call back saying they couldn't do the job, or didn't WANT to do the job. Save your time and effort and go with someone else. I know I did, and am extremely satisfied with the work that was done.

From the first telephone call, Housman's was professional and courteous. The technician came to the house for a free estimate. Upon receipt of the estimate, we decided to replace all screens rather than the 3 that had small tears (as all were old). It took a couple of weeks to get on the schedule, but the technicians arrived on the appointed day and all work was completed professionally. Zane, the crew leader, did a great job of pointing out a couple of other minor items which could be easily repaired by the crew while on site (including replacement caps on the gutters). I was pleased with the professional job done by the crew. I would recommend their services.
