Great company . Am very satisfied with them . Workers were very friendly and answered any questions that I had . Even the city inspector was surprised by the quality of their work .

They did an excellent job that's why I recommend them and they make it look like new again and I'm planning to hire them again.

I left 2 messages and went through Angies List, didn't even get a call back for a quote appt.

Amazing! Jason got the process rolling with a competitive bid. Jay, Dale, and Mike took my vision and created an awesome reality. True professionals and true quality in the product. Housman's and their team took their time creating a quality screened enclosure on my large pool and porch...giving me the start of my Florida oasis. You will not go wrong with the exceptional craftsmanship that goes into the work or with the professionalism of all of their folks. I have nothing but good to say about all I encountered, but the three listed are really the glue that keeps things going. Great folks!! There are other options in the area that may be cheaper but remember, you get what you pay for. A+ company!

Brian and Carl did a great job. My enclosure was about 20 years old and the bolts/screws that hold the enclosure together and to the foundation were all rusting. The guys replaced all of the bolts/screws while rescreening the entire enclosure with 20x20 noseeum screen. I am very pleased with the entire job. I don't see how anyone could have done better. Thank you Housman and especially Brian and Carl!

In a nutshell, we are deeply disappointed with the overall experience of hiring Housman Aluminium for doing the patio, where we had pavers at the back. We approached Housman Aluminium due to their reputation and presence in our area. The sales person Tyson was very knowledgeable and made us comfortable explaining about the patio options. When we finally decided to go ahead, it took several back and forth calls to get the project off the ground after several weeks. Once the installation started, the floor sub contractor attempted to pour concrete on top of the existing pavers without removing them. When we learnt of this, we had to get Tyson to intervene and had them do it the proper way - removing pavers, leveling the ground and pouring concrete. Next, the screening team ended up mounting the patio onto the house wall as opposed to the soffit/gutters. This was completely not in line with what we had wanted and conveyed to Tyson - it would have meant that our patio ceiling height would have been shorter by about 9-10 inches. The installation had to be put on hold and again we had to get Tyson to mediate. It was discovered, despite his instructions which were correct in the estimate/plan, engineering made a mistake and did not translate it correctly. At least they owned up the mistake and rectified it. However, they did not patch up the wall until after the inspection when we complained to them. Next, we discovered that the screen frame was set with an inset of 2 inches on all sides of the concrete base. That means the actual usable area is about 5 sq. ft less than the expected 120 sq. ft as we had imagined. They said that this was as per Engineering. But this should have been made clear to us! We do have a need for a big patio for another house, but we do not even want to consider Housman Aluminium for that.

New lanai completed in May, 2015. Within 4 months an 8' crack appeared in the concrete pad. Upon inspection, Housman's representatives said they had experienced similar cracks in three recent installations and didn't know the cause but felt the pad would not crack farther. Within the next year we had a total 45' of cracks. Lanai is an eyesore and a liability instead of asset. We decided it must go and made what we felt was a generous offer to satisfy both parties. Housman's consistently, in writing, misrepresented or misstated our offer and declined to do anything more than caulk and paint the cracks. We are now under contract with another company to demolish our lanai and build anew. Extremely disappointed!!

Had a pan roof replaced that had been there for 20 years. The new roof is composite . The 2 installers were prompt and on time for the 5 days it took to complete this project. They worked straight through and seemed to never take a break . It was 95 degrees outside each day! The reason for the B ratings are that the price was a little high as far as my expectations. We did have to wait 4 months from the time contract was signed to the time they started. I am glad they are busy! We had a subsequent leak in one of the panel seams and they fixed it promptly and has not leaked since this posting. I would use Housman's Aluminum again. They do quality work!

We contacted Houseman for an estimate to renew the enclosure of our patio. Salesman was punctual and professional, explained everything very well. A few days later we contacted them to make arrangements to have the job done. They agreed to start the job the following Monday. We received a call Monday morning that they had 2 people our sick and they would not be able to start till Tuesday morning. The workers showed up Tuesday morning and were done with the job by Wednesday late morning. We are very pleased with the work, they did a good job and we would use them again and recommend them with out hesitation. No one has control over the well bing of anyone, so I'm not holding it against them that they could not start the job till Tuesday, things like that happen in life.

This was a one man job and he was very professional and courteous. We are happy with the results.

I phoned them initially in January 2018 and provided my 10% deposit required to get on their list. They completed the job just last week, nearly one year later. I was rolled over multiple times when calling the office for an anticipated date that they would start the job. Tons of continued excuses. The workers did a great job once I was able to get them however the office could use a bit of customer service training. They were less than helpful along the way.

The entire process was excellent. The estimate was spot-on with no pressure whatsoever to choose among the available options. I simply can't say enough about the installers, Matt and Tracy. They were perfectly punctual, extremely hard working and - most importantly - incredibly skilled at their job. And as a plus, they were a pleasure to have around for two days! I have 0 complaints and 100% satisfaction!

Our house was hit by a tornado embedded in Hurricane Irma and partially destroyed. We had to deal with a lot of contractors during the rebuild. Housman was the easiest, most responsive, and most professional by far. From the sales and design phase through construction we are very pleased with the interaction with Housman. The two construction workers, AJ and Mike, did an excellent job despite an unusually rainy three weeks. The materials were of high quality and exactly what we expected. My wife had some last minute ideas for modifications which were incorporated with no problem. The finished product exceeds our expectations.

The workers came twice. The first time they couldn't access the screens due to high grass so they were nice enough to return after I had the gardeners cut back the grass. They were quick and efficient, job well done. I will hire them again when I need repairs.

At the end of the day the job was completed to my satisfaction. The inclusion of a quality supervisor to inspect the work and insure that it was done properly was a plus. The fact that they are a trusted company with proper insurances / workman's comp, etc was also important to me. Overall a good experience. I would recommend the company to others.

Philip and Jerry were true professionals! They worked diligently and efficiently the entire process, kept us updated on their progress, and even kept a clean work area (which is amazing considering the amount of supplies they had). I would highly recommend them to anyone, and our family will be lifetime customers! Thanks for the outstanding work!!!

Quality was excellent but it took more time than I thought it should have

I was impressed with the timeliness and quality of the work performed. They did not demand a big down payment and the work crew was conscientious and professional

Was not there during repair, so don't know. But was pleased with the results.

Salesman was great. Dan the designer was good during the design process. The installation was sloppy. They had to come back three times to fix holes in the screen along the edges. Water is pouring into the patio when it rains. The gutters where installed incorrectly and water runs the wrong way causing the gutters to over flow. The gutters are the same design as they have been since I purchased the house in 2004 and we have never had water overflow into the patio. Housman”s refuses to fix the gutters. I had another contractor out and the gutters need to be removed. He recommended using a 7” gutter. He also told me they did not use the screen I paid for. I have been ignored for too long. Looks like I have to pay someone else to fix housman’s mistakes and get my attorney involved. Too bad because everyone at the office and field staff are very nice. Until something goes wrong.

The screen was replaced as well as the aluminum beams, new door mechanism put in and they did a wonderful job. I will definitely be recommending this company. The price is a little higher than we were wanting but the quality was fantastic.

They did a great job. I had one small issue with one of the panels and they came out within a few days and corrected it without hesitation. I would definitely hire them again and would certainly recommend them to anyone I know in need to aluminum screen enclosure construction or repair!
