Allen came out and looked over what we had and explained what they would do and what they had to offer. He then emailed me a proposal of the cost and step by step what all they would do, the price was very reasonable for 2 Lennox a/c units and installation. They were out here the next morning a 830am with a team of about 7 and immediately began removing the old ones. They had everything done by 330pm. I was so impressed the way these guys worked together so efficiently and were very professional. Love the new A/C units, they are so much more efficient and quiet. I am very thankful for Marlin James A/C.

Our AC quit working Tues night. So, I was a desperate woman when I called Tues morning. They assured me that someone would come out. Zach found the problem pretty quick, but needed to order the part. He came back Wed morning with it & fixed it by 11:00!

Superbly. Alex got there right on time estimated which was on the weekend. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty capacitor. He replaced it and our unit then worked flawlessly. He completed his service in less than 20 minutes while explaining everything in a manner which a laymen as myself could easily understand. I would use him and Marlin James any time!

He was here on time and explained everything he was going to do for my service on my AC. He went right to work and completed the service call in a very professional manner. I am always pleased with their service and personal in the office.

We do it about every 6 months. We have a service plan with them and we pay a fixed amount and they come out and do it. They were here about a half of an hour. It was one person, and they left the area clean.

Had to order part, but tech created a work-around so it would work.

I thought the service was good. They show up on time, and are easy to get a hold of over the phone. I have been using them for a while now.

I left a message on 3/30 with an employee. He stated it was the end of the day and he would pass the message on and have someone call me in the am.

They were very professional, and on time. Everything went smooth. No problems what so ever. They were very nice. Their price was competitive with everyone else.

We called after hours and they were here within two hours. Right on time! Very personable and dressed professionally. The price was very fair and 1/2 of what we have paid a contractor in the past to replace the exact same part on a different unit. We will definitely use them again.

They were quick. The price was average. It was not a discount price, but I think it was an after-hour deal. It was an after-hour problem and we did not have air conditioning. They came out that night and did a temporary fix. Then, they came back and fix it completely with the correct part.

I called when they opened at 8AM and they showed up at 8:30. Tony was the technician. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the fan motor in less than one hour. Great work and service.

Scott took his time to explain the problems, and ensured us the A/C unit was in good working order. All we need is a new thermostat, and instead of trying to sell us something that would have cost more money, he told us we could go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy the part we needed. He also took the time to walk around with us and show us the different settings and where pipe was exposed and needed tape. He was honest and he cared about our money. For that kind of service, we will definitely be calling on them for annual maintenance.

I called 3 angie's list providers on a Friday Night. They are the only one that called back from the answering services. We discussed it over the phone and he basically troubleshot it with me over the phone, at my request. I could tell the tech was competent and no-nonsense. He showed up in less than 30 minutes, replaced the part for a fair price and was excellent. They will be first on my list when the unit decides to go out one day.

Called for service at 10:00 am when I smelled something overheating through the air vent along with no cooling. Dave came out at 2:30pm, took care of business, and got me a 10% senior discount. 4:30pm everything is cool, literally. Marlin James has always done a good job for me at a reasonable price. Nuff said

Marlin James provided outstanding service!! This started with timely and responsive returned phone calls. We had 2 problems. The bedrooms at the end of the house were too warm, frequently 84-85 degrees. The other problem was that our old UV light wasn't working. We had had others say we needed a cold air return ($1,000) and replacing the part for the UV light ($400). However, the estimator observed that the ducting around the air handler was poorly designed and if we just straightened it out and then increased the size of the vents in 2 bedrooms, we should improve the temperature plus make the air handler more efficient. He also saw some other things we needed and gave us a total estimate of $856. Now that the work is done, everything is perfect! The temperature is normal (sometimes even a little chilly!) and we've stopped sneezing! On top of all of this good work, the estimator called back 2 days later to make sure we were happy with the work! Marlin James gets top rating in our book! OUTSTANDING!!!

Very professional and quick service. All questions were answered and clarified. The issue was found quickly and several options to fix were provided with pros and cons of each. Then regular service was performed (checked and cleaned drain pipe, cleaned inside/outside unit, checked Freon, etc ) I've dealt with at least 4 AC companies in the past (some of them were found on Angie's list with A rating) but none of those come even close to work that was completed by John @Marlin James. Highly recommended.

We woke up on a Saturday and found our AC was not working. Used Angies List to find this company, called and Dwight was here within a couple of hours. He was fantastic! Not only did he fix our system, he showed us everything he was doing and why. Then he educated us on future issues that may occur with our AC system and how to troubleshoot, including issues about air conditioning in general pertinent to Florida. We also have a security system for our house that includes our heating/cooling, but Dwight has taught how to use it correctly, finding out why our cooling system seems to have been working incorrectly - even thought we were following our builders instructions. We feel that we've learned more about air conditioning today than we've learned our whole lives. Bravo Dwight!

Principal representative of Marlin James, Inc, responded promptly to my call to perform assessment and quote price for replacement home air conditioning units. Made all measurements and took photos of existing units and duct work in attic. Explained different features, per my request, of Lennox line of condensors and air handlers, and emailed brochures with quotes for different models. I elected to install two condensors and two air handlers. At promised date a large crew of installers arrived to demolish old equipment, install new units, rebuild plenums, and upgrade some of the duct work. A promise of service at end of day was made and met. The installers did all mechanical and elecrical work. A supervisor stopped by to check on work and progress. The installers were highly professional and answered any questions I posed during the whole process. All holes in interior and exterior walls were patched and painted. Final cleanup was thorough even though they worked into the evening and the tasks undertaken under hot and grueling conditions. Final cost was slightly pricey but well worth the whole experience. I would highly recommend Marlin James, Inc. to relatives and friends.

He was wonderful, checked everything thoroughly. He seemed honest and didn't overcharge. Our A/C was up and running when he left.

It went well, luckily for us our coil was still under warranty so that saved a lot of money. On Monday a guy came out, figured out we has a Freon leak and that we needed a new coil. We were relieved to find out our coil was under warranty which saved us $500. The only part that did not go in our favor was that they did not have the part so it had to be ordered and didn't get fixed until Friday which is understandable. As soon as the part came in they came right over and fixed it. Our ac works perfect now so we are happy. We have used Marlin James before and will continue to use them. Very nice and friendly repairmen and reasonably priced.
