Description of Work: Our HVAC unit in the garage was leaking water. I called Marlin James to come out and fix it. The lady who answered the phone was pleasant and personable. The tech was running a couple hours late, but they let me know so that wasn't a big deal to me. Something or other was clogged and causing the water leak. The tech did a full cleaning and service on the unit for us. We joined their service club to keep the unit clean and maintained twice annually. I would recommend this company to neighbors and friends.

Description of Work: Serviced the A/C unit and the cost includes 6-months follow-up. Technician was very professional and helpful. Identified what work was being done and why.

Description of Work: Tried to fix my HVAC air handler which was leaking water constantly. Succeeded on the second try. Previous provider installed A/C illegally and did not solve handler leak in multiple tries. The difference was that Marlin James sent an experienced professional who knew what was wrong, explained it, and fixed it.

Description of Work: Ou AC went out on the weekend and they come out the same day, but unfortunately could not get the part until Monday (the motor failed - they took care of getting the warranty coverage in place too). They came out when they said they would, did the work and were gone. We then had another issue with the AC leaking water and they came out and did that at no cost. The guys were polite and efficient - would definitely use them again.

Replaced AC unit with unit that was the appropriate size, duct work, returns etc. They've been out before for minor issues as well. Always communicative, on time, completely reliable. I would not use anyone else.

Different technician each time; lose of knowledge/history of unit and varying opinions on annual maintenance services to perform (clean coils vs not). Request review of sub-cooling differential to ensure inside comfort when temperature gets warm; varying opinion of tech determined no adjustment necessary.

Description of Work: One of the three units at our home was not working, happened to be the primary unit. We had guests staying with us so it was important to get it fixed quickly. They were out in the morning. Worked on the system. Replaced parts up in the attic, and then identified issues with the outside unit. They gave us two options for repairs or replace the unit. They left to get parts (in order to get it fixed that day). They called back to say that they did have a replacement unit and could still get it installed that day. They literally worked all day, and finished up after 6pm. I am always very pleased with their service, even if I was NOT expecting to have replaced my A/C unit after 8 years.

Description of Work: We initially signed up for their Big Red club. This has your ac units serviced twice a year for optimal performance. It is worth the investment as our ac runs great and more efficient. You also become first priority for any service calls. This came in handy last week when our ac went out. I called first thing in the morning and they sent cliff out that same afternoon. He had us up and going in 45 mins and just charged us for the part and not the labor. First class professionalism. So glad we found them.
