He really does show up with a top hat. Its great. He is very nice an knowledgeable. We would definately use him again. He shows up as expected and works on Saturday.

He cleaned the chimney and replaced the entire inside area. The chimney had never been cleaned and was starting to crack. He was clean and very efficient.

We had just moved into the house about a month before and I called Dennis to come out and check our fireplace. He did a thorough inspection on the chimney and fireplace and then cleaned what little it needed because he said it looked good. He was able to replace the mesh gate that was pretty beat up and he didn't even charge me. He went on the roof to check the chimney hood and he said that was in good condition as well. He had asked me since we just moved in if I would turn on my dryer just to see if the vent was working properly because he didn't want to see us have a fire caused by the vent not blowing out the air and lint properly. Dennis did an awesome job and would recommend him for all his services. Thank you.

Everything everyone said about this company was exactly correct. On time, reasonable, professional, clean. He knows what he's doing. He cleaned the chimney, went up on the roof to inspect the cap etc. He replaced a small metal shield on the chimney.There were several concerning cracks in the fire boxl. He removed them to use as a templet for the new walls, said he'd have them done within a week. Called me a few days later to say they were ready. He came out exactly when he said, installed them and explained how we needed to "season" them the 1st few times. It is apparent that he takes pride in his work and won't do it any way but right. Our kind of guy!

Dennis and his wife came on time. They were very pleasant. They made sure our chimney was in excellent working condition which was very important to us as one of the condos in our building caught on fire due to a hole in the chimney. They were very professional and I felt they were experts in their field. They thoroughly cleaned the chimney before the video filming. When it was time for the video camera to come out, he called me and explained to me what we were looking at. Thankfully, there were no issues. There was absolutely no soot when they left which was wonderful because I have very light beige carpet. It was very difficult to find someone in our area who does video. I am very glad I found Dennis.

He and his wife came in politely, introduced themselves and got to work. They set up a clean area to protect my home and started on the chimney. Afterwards there wasn't a bit of soot in my home, we were very impressed. He educated us on our fireplace and chimney and suggested care strategies. He offered his services and told us what we could do ourselves.

My chimney had not been cleaned of soot and debris for a few years. I was concerned that there could be a potential fire hazard. Dennis came out (on time, and after calling to let me know he was in route) and did a great job. Days before I called Dennis, I had ran a drop-light down the chimney to see the severity of soot build-up myself - and it was pretty bad. A few days after the job was complete, I looked once more with my drop-light and it was much much cleaner. There was zero mess; not even a trace of soot inside the house. He cleaned and inspected the damper as part of his service. His very nice wife even cleaned some of the staining off of the front of my fireplace as Dennis packed his equipment up. It was money well spent and it only took perhaps 30 to 40 minutes. Good people.

Owner worked hard to schedule me in before Christmas, when I only had two days notice and only two days (Thur/Fri) to choose from. He showed up on time, performed his services, and was gone. Only disappointment was he didn't give me the discount from Angie's list as discussed on the phone. I forgot about it until he was gone.

easy to reach - made appointment at a very convenient time for me - did a very thorough job - absolutely no mess at all - my silk flower arrangement on the hearth had no dirt on it at all :) arrived on time answered many questions I had cleaned up very well before leaving was polite and efficient - in my opinion you could not find anyone else who could even come close to providing service of this caliber -!!!

Dennis answered my call, asked appropriate qualifying questions, and then scheduled dryer vent cleaning service for his next available time. He arrived promptly when he said he would, performed the service which included having to go into the attic due to a bend in the exhaust piping. Dennis made sure to clean up and provided maintenance recommendations based on the size of my family. I also appreciated that he let me know the other services he offers such as pressure washing. Very satisfied with professionalism and service provided.

It was a pleasure doing business with this company! When I called to make an appointment Dennis was in the area and was willing to come that afternoon. He arrived exactly when he said he would and provided outstanding service. He left the house spotlessly clean. Dennis was very friendly and professional. I would strongly recommend his services to others. I look forward to having him maintain our fireplace and chimney in the future. (He also does pressure washing which we would consider going forward)

We have not used our fireplace for many years and I was reluctant to use it until it was cleaned and inspected. Mr. Verkest was very prompt in setting up an appointment and he was here right when he said he would be. He inspected all the areas of our fireplace then cleaned it thoroughly with leaving any mess in our family room at all. I was very pleased with his work and we are very excited to use our fireplace again!

It took him approximately 15 minutes to determine the problem. I thought that the price was a bit steep, but overall I was satisfied with his work.
