He arrived on time and was very polite and pleasant. We told him the problems with rain running down the chimney into the house so he went up on the roof and checked all pertinent parts. He laid out a huge dropcloth inside as to not dirty anything and cleaned out our chimney. We have owned the house for 5yrs and never had it done but have used it each and every winter..... and lord only knows when the last time it was done by the prior owner!! Needless to say he was very quick and efficient and advised us we only need to have it redone every couple years ! I will be calling him again in 2 yrs for more service! Highly recommend!

Well, we had a leak around the chimney cap area and was told by someone else that everything had to be replaced....including 2 fireplaces; that the chimney cap couldn't be replaced because the of the spark arrestor, blah, blah, blah. I found Dennis and he inspected the chimney and said it could be repaired. He did the job and everything is perfect. He saved me thousands of dollars. He's honest and straightforward!!!!!!!! I would recommend him 100%. Thank you, Dennis.

Dennis came to our house and went on the roof and cleaned my vents. He was very friendly and professional. Arrived at the estimated time. I gave him an A score for everthing but pricing. I scored him a B on pricing. Because what was quoted over the phone did not end up being the price we had to pay at the end of the job. The quote over the phone was for $85 and that was suppose to include the vents on my roof and the dyer vents in my dryer. But then the day he came out to do the work he wanted more money to clean inside my dryer vent. Really !!!! The reason for the call in the first place was to clean the dryer vent. So we ended up paying another $25 for 5 minutes of service. I was not happy about this. I would recommend him but just make sure he stands by what he first quotes you. UPDATE: Dennis did contact me today 3/13/14 to discuss my review on angies list. He informed me he was refunding my money even though I assured him that he deserves to be paid for the good job he did. I take full blame for misunderstanding him the first time we spoke on the phone with regard to the price. . I still rate his professional service and the job he did for me an A. I would highly recommend him to my family and neighbor's. His integrity is also an A. Thank you Dennis for calling me today to discuss this misunderstanding. I hope you can forgive me and provide me future service when needed.

It was a handful of days before Christmas and we noticed maggots coming out of our fireplace. It seemed that we had a dead animal in our chimney. We called several highly rated companies on Angie's list, and while they were sympathetic, they were completely booked due to the high holiday demand. Then I called Dennis. He was also completely booked, but he was truly sympathetic and agreed to come in the evening after all of his already scheduled service calls. He drove a long way on a Friday evening after a very long week to help us. Communication was excellent and immediate. He was careful to determine that type of fireplace and chimney that we had to be sure that he could help us. He came when he said he would. He draped the area around the fireplace to prevent any messes. He warned us that there was a small chance he might not be able to reach the animal. He did. He was very professional, very efficient and very reliable. He cleaned up everything afterward. Because he came in our time of need when he didn't have to do so, we will always call him first.

They also came on very short notice and we really appreciated it!!! There was Absolutely no mess.

Found them on Angie's list and I agree with other reviews that Dennis is an honest guy. He returned my call in 24 hours, asked me a lot of questions over the phone, gave advice over the phone, and explained his cost up front. He was the same when he came to our house to inspect the issue.

Fireplace work went well. No problems. Spread tarp to keep living room clean. While inspecting the chimney from the roof, he noticed a build up of lint on the dryer vent stack. He brought this to my attention. I gave the OK to clean the dryer vent. It was very clogged. Looked like it had never been cleaned previously. He has to take the vent pipe apart and bring it out of the attic to clean. He did a great job. The dryer is working much better now. We recently moved to the house, so this is all work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend.

Dennis was very courteous and knowledgable in his field. He knew exactly what he was doing. After he finished he showed me the proper way to have a fire in the fireplace (as I'm new to having a fireplace). He took the time to thoroughly explain how each part worked and offered to answer any further questions over the phone if I thought of anything after the fact. Over a great service provider!

Dennis answered the phone, came when we made the appointment, called to say he was on his way. Cleaned the chimney and had there was absolutely no mess. He then did the lint cleaning on the dryer both inside the house and on the roof. I appreciate his work and how he works.

He rebuilt the box surrounding the chimney on the roof. He was prompt on coming out to provide an estimate and prompt when arriving to do the work. He was very professional and conscientious about completing the job.
